Man, this is going to be one long day. It's going to be intense in here, unless Kishi decided to go another flashback, but doubt it. The new chapter is tomorrow and I admit, as much as I'm doing other activity, this is getting me chills. It's the feeling I have for 616 release because you either feel complete betrayed or complete healed. I won't think too much but I do hope for something good, knowing we are in another break after this chapter.

It's moment like these where I admit "I hope I am wrong. I hope I am being the moron. I don't mind being the idiot as long as it is for the right reasons."

You mean for Sasuke? Yeah, I don't blame you. Actually, I do think that even though I say stuff that can be right, but for whatever reason, I think of negative stuff in order for positive to happen. I don't know why but it works. 616 was an example. I just thought, "Good god, are they going to team up as everyone are amazed to the point all of them keep saying, 'they're perfect with each other', because that's just vomit worthy."

Perhaps both, though sometimes, it could be choice 1. I still can't believe I thought the possibility of NH tag team taking the beast out while holding hand...To me, that was a day I think everyone was in red zone.

All this tension leading up to the time chapter. It's like you could cut it with a knife or have the whole thing explode with a single wrong word.

im prepared for some trolling. Hell, even sasuke thinking of sakura romantically isn't out of the question considering kishi's asspulling

Why the negative thinking? In the entire manga Sasuke has NEVER thought of Sakura romantically. Kishi is not going to start now remember Sasuke's main theme is" family" not romance

Slex@ I highly doubt Kishi will put Hinata on the spotlight again. I'm hoping at least Kakashi, Kiba, Shino those characters that hasn't share the spotlight yet. Kishi said everyone was going to shine this is the perfect moment.

I will wonder if he's aiming for Hinata to be like this just to get over with her, or if he's gone nuts and really think this a good thing. There's nothing more for her to do, unless she does it with her team. Because they need some shine, although it's too late imo.

why bother to care anymore. It's kinda proven that her presence in the manga isn't that much of a threat. As for potential NH trolls coming to siege us with their stupidity, can't we learn to ignore them.

At this point i'm not reading the manga because kishi might disappoint us again or do something much worse ........untill i hear good news about the chapters in the next volume i might start reading it again.

Yeah, bioshock has kept me occupied for weeks. I LOVE elizibeth and booker's relationship how it escalates through the game toward love and self sacrifice for each other.

Well, she had her shine, so it's been done. But if she does get one, I would question why since her time is literally done, unless she somehow know the whole craze about Sasuke and all of important personal info in one go. Other than that, it will be boring.

Well, not reading that spoiler until I finish it.

Anyway, I don't know. I never saw it as asspull, it's more like if he's done being complete bad and now 100% good or we have to wait more. Plus, would it be worse if he beat all Edo kages? I think that would have suck really bad, so take it as "Could have been worse", though Kishi did lock himself in the corner by making kages powerful.

You know after thinking it over for a while I don't see Sasuke becoming good an asspull. Like some members have pointed out already Sasuke took a different turn since he ran into Edo Tensei Itachi and after hearing his side of the story he wanted to look for answers. That's why he went to Orochimaru to look for the Hokages the ones who will answer his questions and clear his doubts. Now he wants to stop Madara and Obito however (that's a big however). We still don't know for sure if he wants to stay good for certain. Yes he said he wants to protect the village just like Itachi but what if there's an "ulterior motive" for his reasons? This was also pointed out by some members of the forum. What if he's hiding his true intentions and he secretly approves the moon eye plan? It will be a great plot twist that after he helps Naruto and the shinobi alliance defeating Madara and Obito he reveals that he will be the one to carry out the moon eye plan. Sasuke approving the plan to cast an ultimate tsukuyomi in the entire world and have it under his complete control is the perfect motive for Naruto to fight him and thus it will lead to their final battle. Also this will make Sasuke the last villain of the story.

Well, not everyone, my friend. There are quite a few around here who haven't had their belief in NS shaken. Not even for a moment.

And before anyone feels the need to swoop in and remind the faithful that anything is possible and to believe otherwise is to be in denial, I think it's very safe to say that everyone here is aware of that by now. It's not over until it's over. So stipulated.

That said, I still believe NS is endgame and as my grandmother used to say, "If I'm wrong I'll eat my hat."

But that's the only assumption I'm willing to make at this point. How we're going to get there? I really have no clear idea.

Taking Sasuke's recent turn toward good at face value for a moment, asking how Naruto will play a part in Sasuke's redemption now is a legitimate question.

One thing I can't reconcile is Orochimaru, the guy I love to hate. His return to the story at this point nags at me, as does his unfinished agenda. Orochimaru is Sasuke's clearest parallel, and represents Jiraiya's most significant and heartfelt failure. Does that still mean anything?

What if, after the Obito/Madara/Juubi/Edo Kage resolution, Orochimaru pulls the last ace from his sleeve and finally succeeds in taking control of Sasuke's body? What if Naruto ends up having to fight OrochiSasuke? What if to "save" Sasuke, Naruto has to face the possibility of killing him in order to kill Orochimaru?

What if, in classic Return of the Jedi fashion, Sasuke's allegiance to Naruto is stronger than Orochimaru's will, and neither guy can bring himself to kill the other. What if, just as he did in the ice prison against Haku, Sasuke does whatever it takes to sabotage Orochimaru and preserve Naruto's life?

What if they both end up beaten nearly to death, and Sakura can only save one?

Too much like Star Wars and the OVA, I suppose. Maybe Naruto would just TnJ OrochiSasuke and that would be that?

Bottom line, I don't trust Orochimaru. If Sasuke has already made his own decision to turn good, I have a nagging feeling that Orochimaru will be the wildcard that changes Sasuke's fortune again. And considering Karin's long-standing loyalty to Orochimaru, it would be interesting to see how she would react to OrochiSasuke....

I know we're focusing on Sasuke here, but don't forget Orochimaru is alive and well, and while he maybe willing to help Sasuke, you can't trust a snake, especially one that's been in the grass for so long.
