LMAO!! I went to another thread to see what was happening, and it turns out every NH fan is saying NS has died and NH has already happened LMAO!!! Man they're getting annoying. Really wish something bad would happen to Hinata, or better yet, Naruto kisses Sakura right in front of Hinata so the NH fans will shut up. It's really getting annoying.

They are living in a fairy world. Just ask them for proof, and they will give you fanart and fanfiction...Ask us for proof, and we can give them 100 or so chapters.

I read all of it, it was really interesting. The only complain I have is the excessive use of profanity and the Hinata character bashing, apart from that. Your view and my view are the same I even mention in the past that Hinatas love was infatuation and obsession, but no love. Hinata is such a robotic character that when she cries she looks awkward, to conclude with my mini rant, I don't feel the emotion like I felt it before between Sakura and Sasuke in part one or Naruto and Sakura part one and part two.

With Hinata that's different because she never try to get close to him she stalked him from afar and Naruto never though about a bond with Her. He never considers her as someone close so it's just awkward, how NH can't see this is beyond understanding.

SS part. Well for me SS is just crap and a waste of time, SS doesn't make sense to me at all.

If he could edit it- especially get rid of the profanity, and the overt character bashing, the rest made some great canon story points that I was glad someone else had seen. I wanted to springboard a reply from it- (folks, even if you don't like a character and don't see that they have any real purpose in the manga, don't call the character "useless". Even a minor support character has some "use" to the story...)

The length is definitely an issue in this thread, (I had just started to read it this morning before I had to go to work- on lunch break now- so I hadn't read but maybe half of it before I had to leave for work. I was making mental notes this morning- about what I might reply to when I got home from work this evening...) but maybe he could post an edited version (removing the character bashing and profanity) in his I-blog and post a link to it in the debate thread? That way people could still respond to it but his long rant wouldn't take up pages in the debate thread. What you think, Shauna?

There's also evidence from the databooks that in the affection charts Hinata always has the arrow towards Naruto that says "admiration" not "suki" which means like.

Yes, this is essentially the idea the Mod Team is leaning towards. If the 'rant/posts' are cleaned up profanity-wise, and the character bashing removed, Nostradamus can just create his own specialized thread like Mizura did with the NaruSaku Manifesto.

Aw man, I actually was reading that incredibly long post. Now it's gone.

Well, I am waiting for more of the confrontation of NaruSaku, but yeah, it's been a slow week for all of us. Actually, it's been a slow month. Anyway, I really believe that this pairing is going to happen, if not, nothing will happen. Honestly, as I mentioned before, this pairing needs to happen because the logic behind it really makes the perfect sense. It has nothing to do with main characters status. It's the flow of development. By all means, this is NOT a bashing attempt, but if SasuSaku happens, then the story gets crushed into parts. The logic makes no sense and the meaning behind it is really bad for anyone to follow. We got to remember: this manga is made to teach us a lesson about ourselves who does the impossible will be greatly rewarded. Again, I'm not bashing this pairing, but pointing out the development and the moral if it becomes canon. It can be anyone with Sakura, as long as that guy has Sasuke persona, and it will still direct to my message.

This manga is one of the few stories that got me really interested in pairing. I like pairings in anime/manga/movies/etc. There is always a love interest and romance, even in a little kid show (depending what kind of show). The reason why I'm interested in this is because of how the issue is presented. You have Naruto loving Sakura loving Sasuke. While I do recalled some anime doing this method, the interesting part to me is the long journey of the manga. The new perk is Sakura hates Naruto in the very beginning. Usually I encountered hero and heroine like each other, but heroine likes his rival. The case is heroine hates hero. We, the readers, are witnessing the development of Team 7 relationship. It amazes me to see how much Sakura grown from part 1. The one part I like about this manga is that they really do change in attitude and such. Other mangas (from what I read) somehow remains the same. Like Naruto is more matured than before. I mean where's the middle finger (yes he did that). Where's the loudmouth Naruto and what happened to poor ninja skills (like hiding until you find the best spot to stealth attack). He has matured. Okay, he has not changed but he sure matured to be a serious guy. It's no wonder anime has to add humor because part 2 was dark for like what, a whole arc.

Anyway, the game changer is Sakura. She has to decide. Does anyone know that Naruto knows that she knows that he loves her? Because I don't think he does. If not, then it will be interesting to see confessing not knowing that she knows. It's like it won't be a surprise to her. Also, Kishi clearly have that chapter where Naruto was caught by Sai to let us know that he will always love her, but what's stopping him is his "failure" or rather, incomplete goals. Noticed that Naruto was in humor mode when Sai found out that he loves her. Once Sai told him to confess, Naruto went complete serious. That proves Naruto loves her deeply and he is serious to be in a real relationship.

Man, I want the manga to progress now. I can't wait.

No, Sakura did not actually "hate" Naruto (chapter 4), nor more than Naruto "hates" Sakura (Chapter 469). That's the mistake readers make- taking annoyance to mean actual hatred. (you want real hatred look at Sasuke- even in part 1 he was already a good part consumed by it) Go back and look at her words to Naruto henged as Sasuke in chapter 3. Sakura thought Naruto's actions in the Academy was to mock and torment her by calling her "Sakura chan" all the time, etc... Remember, at this point Sakura believes she's too ugly for any boy to be interested in her (also in chapter 3), and all Naruto did in school was make pranks. Sakura believed Naruto was making her an object of mockery for his enjoyment. She's angry at him for that reason- and she had no evidence otherwise. But look how swift that changes once she is interacting with him on a team- it's gone by the bell test. So yeah the real Sasuke's explanation about why Naruto acts the way he does- that he's lonely, did indeed quickly shift the image she had of Naruto. In chapter 4 she's still mostly thinking about Naruto as her tormentor, she's not quite seeing the real Naruto yet- he's not done anything yet to change that image, so she "hates" the guy who has tormented her in the Academy. But look at chapter 5- she's already let the image of Naruto the tormentor go, heck she even blushes at what looks like him acting heroic, and acts without a second thought of her own safety to save Naruto from what she thinks is serious danger, then gets angry and disgusted at Kakashi for bullying Naruto for fun. (key point here, Sakura, because she was bullied, hates to see anyone bullied.)


With the tsundere type the girl usually dislikes the boy at the start- something about his behavior sets off her temper and irritation. Usually the shift to liking, even on a mild friendship level takes much longer than Kishimoto did. (Ranma 1/2 set the template with Ranma and Akane. Jiraya and Tsunade act out the more classic version of that story, but with a tragic twist- neither realizing the other did have real feelings for them until their last conversation- Jiraiya tries to pretend to himself that he hadn't noticed as he's dying, but he gives away hints that he had noticed- he even outright cuts off her pretty obvious love confession before she can get much of it out) The overly negative image Sakura has of Naruto as her tormentor is completely gone by the start of chapter 5. She's still irritated at his stupidity, rudeness, gross and perverted behavior but it's clear he's already a friend certainly before the start of the Land of Waves arc. She's already very tuned into caring about his emotional as well as physical well being in this arc, and even has a moment where her semiconscious feelings for Naruto become conscious- which confuses her, but she doesn't reject it in any shape or form- her reaction is: wow that's confusing, don't understand it, and that's all she thinks about it at that point. We see her again and again even in part 1 show an intense bond to Naruto, unknown to her until near the end of part 1, but actually even in early part 1, stronger than her bond to Sasuke. Several times in part 1 it's Naruto's welfare she focuses on, she doesn't even think of Sasuke at all... And this is just part 1, in part 2 her bond to Sasuke gets fainter and fainter, and more and more as part 2 goes along something she doesn't want and something that causes her pain and shame. The only positive reflection we see toward Sasuke isn't connected to her at all, it was the joy she felt when she observed the brother-like bond between Naruto and Sasuke. That what she wanted restored, for both the boys emotional well-being from the end of part 1 onward. Nothing about her one-sided feelings for Sasuke, she wants that gone from herself, even the fragment of the memory of it just makes her miserable and ashamed.

Thanks, you're right about Sakura not hating Naruto. Funny, I remember myself saying that she never hated Naruto, just blinded. She thought Naruto was a jerk because of his reputation. Luckily for us, she saw him in the true light. It's only matter of time that she got to decide, even though her conscious already have. Funny, everyone (Yamato, Sai) prefer her to be with Naruto, whether they know she loves Sasuke or not.

Luckily for us, she saw him in the true light. It's only matter of time that she got to decide, even though her conscious already have. Funny, everyone (Yamato, Sai) prefer her to be with Naruto, whether they know she loves Sasuke or not.

I think Sakura needs to almost lose Naruto like in the OVA for everything to come full circle.
