Haha uh oh. Kishi is such a hack fraud lmao. Why didn't Seishi come up with Naruto? He would have treated Naruto and Sakura like he did with Jio and Ruby. Smh they even look and act like them. We got stuck with the beta-male while the alpha-male didn't even get 1/6 of the recognition Kishi got with Naruto. Omg  



Same here, I was among the people who said "He knows what he's doing, he's done this before, look at all the previous events/arcs etc.". Sigh I should have seen it coming, but I was too invested in this series to even take into consideration that he was kitten up this badly. And really? Lol, it's honestly so clear. It's so clear and simple. How anyone could even twist the romance-sub plot in this story is beyond me. The love plot isn't even the biggest problem (but it sure was a main factor in this kitten ending), look at what happened to everybody. Kishi sold out for sure, but the manga hasn't been going so well after the pain arc (imo). I mean after the pain arc, Naruto was probably a 6.8/10 - 7/10. Story was alright, could be improved a lot, but it was still decent. So many ways Kishi could have went after the pain arc, but nope! 
 
And yeah, it's pretty good! I just started it. I'm on chapter 6 xD. The amaterasu rip-off is so obvious LOL. "The black flames that don't burn out. The black flames influenced by your spirit" pfftt

Did the ending seem really underwhelming to you? Did it feel mediocre? I've only read the first 6 chapters but I already feel a "What the hell was that, that's it?" feeling x_x

Literally people without a shred of self respect follow this guy XD Lmao yeah, he said that! Although, as he openly admitted that he included filler material in his manga, that makes one wonder how much other stuff isn't canon, and then it allows one to pick and choose elements of the manga that may or may not be canon, no? Say for instance, the ending?

Agreed, I wish Seishi had written Naruto, this would have been much better.

The ending was kinda underwhelming, but the events that led to it made it more gratifying than if you hadn't read it all the way.

Well that interview explains my wonders on Tobi. Nothing weren't meant to line up greatly. It's all a spin-a-wheel game to him. I guess that's why it all doesn't add up. It's no wonder Japanese audience was like wtf when 540 happened. Talk about disaster.

On Sakura’s Love Letter scene - Kobayashi laughingly brings up the unusual scene where Sakura gets a love letter [during the war]. Kishimoto explains that the reason for that was to give the anime team a lead for a [filler] story, because if they just kept doing the war arc at the pace they were going at then they would catch up with the manga. Kobayashi says this ‘Love letter incident’ is an unbelievable occurrence, and Kishimoto admits that he didn’t know what to write, he just had to put something. Kobayashi finds this hilarious and asks ‘so your answer was a love letter, then?’

 

This bolded part Catches my eyes and i got 2 questions. i was going to put them on spoiler just to be save, but i got in trouble with the new forum stuffs lol

 

1. i might be wrong, or there was mistranslate, or whatever but this statement sounds like kishi intended for SP to make any filler based on the love letter scene. so, did SP really make any filler based on this?

 

2. just ignore this question if i was wrong on Q1. i just checked naruto wiki and i found this scene published around may 2011 on the manga. surprisingly there are at least 2 famous NS(not SS lol) filler after this, they are the nadeshiko village and mecha naruto, not to mention road to sakura and road to ninja. many NS fans (well actually every NS fans ive met) believed SP was behind the NH ending. can anyone here explain those SP's fillers vs kishis's 'lead' then?

 

i may overlooked/missread/or anything (even biased lol) so feel free to correct me if i was wrong

Not going to lie but I don't think I should blame them that much anymore. I mean I do but this series has always been a fanfiction from the beginning. In short, your guess is good as mine.
