It's surprising. I've known the guy for roughly four years now and he still hasn't changed one bit. I figured he would have matured a little by now.

LMAO Don't you just love him! Remember his video for her birthday? cool.gif That is pureee dedication right there. He'd marry her if he could i bet. tongue.gif

I think all we really need to know that Naruto still loves Sakura is the fact that he still calls her "Sakura-Chan" if he developed feelings for Hinata, he'd have called her "Hinata-Chan" by now don't you think?

Also, Naruto clearly hurts over Sakura loving Sasuke, even after her confession and saying she was lying to herself.

Look at his expression in the last panel. 'Nuff said.

Naruto struggles because of Sakura love demonstration towards Sasuke but also on this chapter it's aid that she was doing that because of Naruto too allowing for Naruto to hate Sakura and move on.

She knew that Naruto loved Sakura but she feels that she's unworthy of Naruto's love not just because of the promise but because she broke his heart with those demonstrations of love towards Sasuke in front of him, the whole i'll kill Sasuke was not just for to end all the mess but also because she wanted Naruto to hate her and making him free to go after another girl that is "worthy" of his feelings.

after this Sakura it's shown that Sakura is able to sacrifice her own love for Naruto's happiness on the same way that Naruto wanted to sacrifice his love her happiness reaching an endless loop of selfless devotion.

I don't think she was thinking that far ahead when it comes to him "finding another girl". I partially don't even agree with this actually. At this time, I don't think she felt unworthy of his love at all. I think it was more so about making up for the pain she had caused him even if the outcome wouldn't of been what he wanted.

I agree with the bolded though. I think we may see something like this again given what has happened and what she's witnessed. It's like she's in Naruto's shoes when it comes to NH, and he's like her when it comes to SS IMO.

EDIT:

I don't think a simple change in name calling would signify anything really. If Sakura falls for Naruto, I truly believe she isn't just gonna turn around and start calling him Naruto-kun. I think even if he falls out of love with her, he'd still call her Sakura-chan.

Naruto can't change his feelings. If he changed them then why ? because Hinata said " I love you" or because he held Hinata's hand to transfer chakra, he starts to have feelings ? If that is the case, then he has feelings for Ino, Shikamaru, Choji and Tenten.
Or also because what Sakura said in the confession, even after Sai explained to him what she meant ?

After these events, Naruto doesn't show any interest in any other character. Again, why would he do that ?... Changing his feelings is illogical with no fact that he wants to.

I don't think she felt "unworthy" exactly, but she did feel guilty I'm sure.

She could have felt guilty for not noticing how deep his feelings truly were, and even though it wasn't intentional, she probably felt that she was taking advantage of him because of that.

Naruto change feeling? Tell that to jiraiya n obito. Who stil has romantic feeling.

Why don't change when he has opurtunity to do that.
After pain arc, Why naruto didn't approach Hinata?
At the sakura confession, why he didn't reject sakura and say " i have another girl sakura"
Or when naruto try to remember kushina last wish. He skip the last part about girlfriend advice. Why? Naruto can say I have found her.
It need two hundred chapter for kishi to remind us that naruto still pursue his dream to become hokage.
Wait until naruto cry out his love to sakura and all the doubter will shut

If Naruto were to change feelings, it would from my point of view only because Hinata had feelings for him.

THIS!

That's likely why she felt so badly. Because he was going so far for her, and she unintentionally played a big part in that. Naruto did a great job at concealing it because I didn't even know until Sai said something. The thing with that is, IMO, Naruto has himself to blame when it comes to his pursuit of Sasuke, and as he said, it's not purely about his promise to Sakura but it plays a part in it. Given his desire to never give up, it was pretty obvious. Another thing to note is, Naruto isn't the only one suffering at that point. Sakura was suffering as well. It's like some people just flock to Naruto's emotions but don't even take others into consideration as well. Sakura being the one here. I'm not talking about anyone here btw...

It does not lead to NH neither SS i'm talking about her perspective because Naruto would forgive her.

The official translation says "he's a fool to love someome like me"
She feels unworthy for the reasons that Sai said on the first image i posted and even on this image.

@Kirabook there's a difference of guilty and unworthy(because guilty can lead to unworthy) if was only the reason you posted it would be guilty but the problem is that she relied on Naruto too much and Naruto had his own problems and burdens to deal the promise added more weigh to his own burdens.
It's a guilty that leads to an "unworthy" feeling, to a point that she thought she only bought burden to Naruto's life and make him suffer.
It's kinda obvious because Sai said that her and Sasuke are the ones who made Naruto suffer the most.

That's why I feel it's more of a guilty feeling rather than unworthy.

She realizes at that moment that Naruto took on all her burdens on top of his own and made that promise not just because he's a "Good friend", but because he loves her so much he's willing to do so much for her, even if she didn't return his feelings.

Until that moment, she didn't realize that Naruto's date requests and whatnot were actually serious. In part 1, she thought the dates were just because he was being annoying. After the bench scene, she thought Naruto did it to gain her acknowledgement and to be her friend. Now, after everything, she realizes it's because Naruto truly loves her.

She felt guilty for putting so much on him and not taking a little more of the burden with Sasuke. Although she said she would help him, she felt as if she were still relying on him too much and deeply hurting him.

She didn't feel unworthy to face him or be his friend again, and we don't have any indication that suggests that she feels unworthy to walk by his side and maybe even be in a relationship with him.

That is why I think Sakura's emotions during that whole arc was more closely related to guilt rather than unworthiness.

The only unworthiness I've really felt from Sakura is during the lovernin situation. He said, "You must love a great guy", but immediately after she sulks over Sasuke, probably feeling unworthy of the praise because she feels she isn't in love with a great guy.

I can't look at that link since it doesn't work for me. I think it doesn't work anywhere in the US actually...

Anyway, Oh? If she felt so unworthy then why would she confess? She felt responsible thus she felt she had to be the one to tackle this problem on her own? IMO, she called him a fool or even made that comment because he STILL loved her after all that. He STILL tried to get Sasuke back for her even after all the pain she caused him. I still don't think it has anything to do with being unworthy.

Also the "letting him hate me forever" still has nothing to do with with being unworthy. It could mean that this is HER way of making up for the pain she's caused Naruto, and saving the both of them. Naruto and his pursuit of Sasuke, and killing Sasuke to "save" him.

Guilty leads to unworthy you cant escape that formula, saying it's more gulty than unworthy does not change or decrease her unworthy feelings.
It's the same thing as saying that Sakura does not love Sasuke because of his coolness there are different types of love, obssessive, infatuation, selfless, even ones based on hate but still is love.
You cant escape this.
Her guilty lead to a point that she thought she was an horrible person and it leads to an unworthy feeling, we dont know if she still feels the same way but there she was to a point that she was willing for Naruto to hate her.
What cant be avoided is the fact that Sakura knows that Naruto loves her and we now know how she was selfless towards Naruto to a point she was willing to kill Sasuke for him, and better she was willing to give up on her love for Sasuke and offer herself for Naruto.
About the bolded i said unworthy of Naruto's love, but i never said she would not be capable to be on a relationship because of his sake, she could be on a relationship with Naruto not because of she loves him but because of his happiness it's a sacrifice and it would be bad for NS, because she would still have feelings for Sasuke.

it reached a point that even if Sasuke comes back to the village i think the fact that Sakura worries too much about Naruto she will not attempt to be with Sasuke, because it will break Naruto's heart, and even Naruto saying that he would be fine if she chooses Sasuke she will know that it will break his heart.
They are selfless towards each other.
Sakura wont go after Sasuke and risk breaking Naruto's heart neither Naruto will force his love into Sakura.

The same thing, how it cant be unworthy but can be guilty, "letting him hate me forever" is the same thing, if she felt she was worthy of it she would not think like that, making up her way, she knew that she could not because there wasnt trying to make amends she thought that she had to do it by herself instead of letting Naruto handle everything.

Which i end with Agree to Disagree because i'm talking about a character's perspective and then i got "generalization" replies, i end with this quote "she's asked too much of you and wants to end all this by herself".

Guilty does not mean unworthy. They are two separate emotions. Sometimes people maybe have both, but that does not mean when you have one you immediately have the other.

If I'm guilty for reading guilty pleasures, where does the unworthiness come in? What do I feel unworthy against? Nothing, there is nothing to feel unworthy about, I just feel guilty. We have seen Sakura guilty about not noticing Naruto's emotions more, but we have never seen her feel less worthy to be in his presence.

Just think about what Sakura said: "He's a fool to love someone like me". Think about it through your perspective. If you thought that about a guy what would it mean towards you.

This is the same as Sakura saying "Why love me, of all people? I'm the last one you should be giving this kind of affection, you fool."

At the very least Sakura feels that Naruto is better off loving someone other than her. She feels she's not the right person for Naruto, that she won't give him the best happiness given the way she believes she made him suffer. That's why she thinks he's a fool for loving her.

It's not that Sakura feels unworthy because she believes she's the scum of the earth, she feels unworthy because she believes there are better options for Naruto than her and she believes Naruto deserves the best.

I said that guilty on that case lead to unworthy and you bring the meaning of those words without taking any context you said that it was guilty but that guilty there lead to unworthy saying guilty on that context is the same of saying that she thinks she's unworthy.

YOur quote
"i dont think she feels unworthy i think she feels guilty"
my thought the guilty feelings leads her to make the decision to lift Naruto's burden (with a confession or killing Sasuke as the last effort).
The guilty lead to a feeling that she feels unworthy of Naruto's affection with the quote "he's a fool to love someome like me".
