That's why I feel it's more of a guilty feeling rather than unworthy.
She realizes at that moment that Naruto took on all her burdens on top of his own and made that promise not just because he's a "Good friend", but because he loves her so much he's willing do do so much for her, even if she didn't return her feelings.
Until that moment, she didn't realize that Naruto's date requests and whatnot were actually serious. In part 1, she thought the dates were just because he was being annoying. After the bench scene, she thought Naruto did it to gain her acknowledgement and to be her friend. Now, after everything, she realizes it's because Naruto truly loves her.
She felt guilty for putting so much on him and not taking a little more of the burden with Sasuke. Although she said she would help him, she felt as if she were still relying on him too much and deeply hurting him.
She didn't feel unworthy to face him or be his friend again, and we don't have any indication that suggests that she feels unworthy to walk by his side and maybe even be in a relationship with him.
That is why I think Sakura's emotions during that whole arc was more closely related to guilt rather than unworthiness.
The only unworthiness I've really felt from Sakura is during the lovernin situation. He said, "You must love a great guy", but immediately after she sulks over Sasuke, probably feeling unworthy of the praise because she feels she isn't in love with a great guy.
Guilty leads to unworthy you cant escape that formula, saying it's more gulty than unworthy does not change or decrease her unworthy feelings.
It's the same thing as saying that Sakura does not love Sasuke because of his coolness there are different types of love, obssessive, infatuation, selfless, even ones based on hate but still is love.
You cant escape this.
Her guilty lead to a point that she thought she was an horrible person and it leads to an unworthy feeling, we dont know if she still feels the same way but there she was to a point that she was willing for Naruto to hate her.
What cant be avoided is the fact that Sakura knows that Naruto loves her and we now know how she was selfless towards Naruto to a point she was willing to kill Sasuke for him, and better she was willing to give up on her love for Sasuke and offer herself for Naruto.
About the bolded i said unworthy of Naruto's love, but i never said she would not be capable to be on a relationship because of his sake, she could be on a relationship with Naruto not because of she loves him but because of his happiness it's a sacrifice and it would be bad for NS, because she would still have feelings for Sasuke.
it reached a point that even if Sasuke comes back to the village i think the fact that Sakura worries too much about Naruto she will not attempt to be with Sasuke, because it will break Naruto's heart, and even Naruto saying that he would be fine if she chooses Sasuke she will know that it will break his heart.
They are selfless towards each other.
Sakura wont go after Sasuke and risk breaking Naruto's heart neither Naruto will force his love into Sakura.
I can't look at that link since it doesn't work for me. I think it doesn't work anywhere in the US actually...
Anyway, Oh? If she felt so unworthy then why would she confess? She felt responsible thus she felt she had to be the one to tackle this problem on her own? IMO, she called him a fool or even made that comment because he STILL loved her after all that. He STILL tried to get Sasuke back for her even after all the pain she caused him. I still don't think it has anything to do with being unworthy.
Also the "letting him hate me forever" still has nothing to do with with being unworthy. It could mean that this is HER way of making up for the pain she's caused Naruto, and saving the both of them. Naruto and his pursuit of Sasuke, and killing Sasuke to "save" him.
For Naruto's sake, letting others to deal with Sasuke, doing a sacrifice, being bad for NS because she still would hold feelings for Sasuke despite being on a relationship with Naruto
The same thing, how it cant be unworthy but can be guilty, "letting him hate me forever" is the same thing, if she felt she was worthy of it she would not think like that, making up her way, she knew that she could not because there wasnt trying to make amends she thought that she had to do it by herself instead of letting Naruto handle everything.
Which i end with Agree to Disagree because i'm talking about a character's perspective and then i got "generalization" replies, i end with this quote "she's asked too much of you and wants to end all this by herself".
