I feel your pain. Johnson was a first round pick for me in another league where I have cash on the line. When Stafford blows, Johnson tends to suffer too, and it's causing me problems.
And that's about what happened. 450 yards and 3 TD's. And the Jets offense was ugly.

Leatherbacks favored by ~9.
Insurrection is riding the Bengals train hard, starting Andy Dalton in place of Cam Newton. But when A.J. Green is that ridiculous I can't blame him. CIN/JAC may be a shootout. If MJD runs all over the place is it still a shootout? We'll just go with high-scoring. You know what else may be a high-scoring game? TB/WAS. Don't like the Tampa D this week, and I think Demaryius Thomas is underprojected.
Pick: Leatherbacks
It would've been a bit closer if I'd remembered that a) I'd started Hillis because of byes and b) I'd realized that he was out. Still a loss (unless Forte has an atrocious game and Gould goes off the wheels). Brady and the Arizona D did what they could, but it's rough when the TE, both receivers, #2 back and flex combine for just 12.1 points. Can't really complain though since most of my team has been playing above expectations (except my pick of David Wilson in the 6th round).
I hope that Hernandez comes back soon.

What ticks me off is that last week if Sproles catches that pass or Graham doesn't get hurt, then I win. This week my Team collectively does well, including Maclin and Johnson after both stank up the joint last week. I got decent points from Morris and I knew Ridley would have issues, but I hate the feeling that this was winnable if it's not a Brees bye week. Serisouly, my plug in players got me 4 points between the two of them.
Smith had 38 points last week and only three this week. It sucks.
They were awful.

I know nothing about Fantasy Football this season except that I am pretty bad at it.
(For the younger readers, a "record store" was a building that you had to go to when you wanted to buy music.)
(For the younger readers, "buying music" was the way we acquired it, since we couldn't just… you know what, let's just get back to the Bowen song. Stupid kids, you ruin everything.)

I'm tracking MNF right now and where the hell was this Alex Smith two weeks ago when I played Nick?

Taking an early bye?
As much as I love the production of Crabtree this week, I'll probably need it more some other time. I guess not next week because it's his bye, but sometimes soon. Still, it's nice to beat my projection for I think only the second time this season. I guess it's better to be lucky than good. And I'm going to need a lot of Luck next week.

I have Ridley and Welker on a bye. I have decent replacements, but they play the Texans. I still can't believe I field a decent RB corp given how I drafted.

In the interests of saving myself time, here are links to Yahoo-written recaps, as well as a screencap of the standings:
Mik3 demolishes Rick, 104.10-43.70.
Insurrection rides Dalton's hot hand to a 105.30-98.85 victory over Nate River.
Roninmedia in line for a playoff spot, beating True 105.70-67.80.
Zatren6 keeps playoff hopes alive, nipping Burning_wulf 109.30-107.80.
Nee-sama severely cripples Illmatic's playoff hopes, winning 105.95-87.15
Weeden-less jwolf0 somehow still has 4th place after a clown showing versus Nick Soapdish. Leatherbacks win 103.45-66.90.

With the playoffs only three weeks away, both native Eagles fans (Mik3 and Illmatic) look highly doubtful to make the playoffs. The Leatherbacks and the Derp Chargers are the only teams to clinch playoff spots, and next week will not change that although it WILL clarify the playoff picture.
ZETF Zombie Hunters and The Golden Thumbs are the only teams to be mathematically eliminated.

So, here's the link for the current standings: http://football.fant...o.com/f1/229407
Note the giant pile of 'meh' records below Nick Soapdish and Insurrection. The Leatherbacks and The Derp Chargers are virtually locked into the 1 and 2 seeds respectively, congratulations!
Everyone else, here's how it breaks down: (Remember that points scored is the tiebreakers between similar records)
-All but technically in:
3. Tokyo Raiders (roninmedia) 7-5-0 1354.75 Pts. scored
Unless roninmedia chooses to bench his entire team, I don't see any realistic way for him to not score enough points to keep a playoff spot (153 points ahead of #6 Sparky McRandomsons, 297 ahead of #7 CarBatteries@Reid)
-Win and in:
4. Ellicott Thundercats (True) 6-6-0 1296.55 Pts. scored
5. Zatties! (Zatren6) 6-6-0 1211.65 Pts. scored
6. Sparky McRandomsons (jwolf0) 6-6-0 1181.55 Pts. scored
-Needs help: (See playoff scenarios below)
7. CarBatteries@Reid (Mik3) 6-6-0 1057.20 Pts. scored
8. Team Not Seven (Nate River) 5-7-0 1293.75 Pts. scored
9. Gama Warriors (Nee-sama) 5-7-0 1235.05 Pts. scored
-See you next year:
10. Rigbone (Illmatic) 4-8-0 1107.35 Pts. scored
11. ZETF Zombie Hunters (Burning_wulf) 3-9-0 1157.40 Pts. scored
12. The Golden Thumbs (Rick) 3-9-0 1084.45 Pts. scored
Point differential for #4-#9 seeds: (based from #4 seed)
#4 Ellicott Thundercats: 0
#5 Zatties! : -84.90, 0 Games back
#6 Sparky McRandomsons: -115.00, 0 GB
~~~~
#7 CarBatteries@Reid: -239.35, 0 GB
#8 Team Not Seven: -2.8, 1 GB
#9 Gama Warriors: -61.50, 1 GB
Playoff scenarios for:
CarBatteries@Reid: Win and hope one of the three teams above them lose. With their point total they cannot realistically make they playoffs if they lose.
Team Not Seven: Win and hope that any two of the #4-7 teams lose. If the Ellicott Thundercats is one of them, Team Not Seven must outscore the Thundercats by more than 2.8 and keep their point lead (58.7) on Nee-sama.
Gama Warriors: Win and hope that at least two of the #5-8 teams lose plus have a higher point total than of any of the teams that lost (61.5 behind Ellicott Thundercats, 58.7 behind Team Not Seven, 23.4 ahead of Zatties!, 53.5 ahead of Sparky McRandomsons)
Well, I made it despite Drew Bress having the fantasy stink bomb of his life with less than 8 points. I wasn't even going to check it originally because I figured I was doomed after Thursday.
However, I lucked out and played a team that wasn't trying (Rick) and won a game I had no business of winning had my opponent cared (started two guys that didn't play). I figured based on the match-ups that the Mik3 and Zatties would likely lose (and I was right). I didn't think jwolf0 would lose, but it was closer than I thought. True also lost, so it was just about getting enough points to outlast Nee-sama.
I was able to over come my three biggest draft day mistakes: Drafting Jeremy Maclin over Vincent Jackson.
Now, I get to play the one playoff team I did not want to play. I rather be playing Insurrection and Nick, since my track record against ronin isn't very good and he has a number of players I have on other teams which are in the playoffs in other leagues.
Not to mention I was reasonable close against Nick and Insurrection, while Ronin beat the crap out of me.
My dream scenario would be playing Jwolf0 in Prinny Bowl 4 for the title, but the odds seem real long on that. I think I lose to Ronin and I don't think Jwolf0 can beat Nick.
I've had a lot of flukey wins. I've been checking out the recaps and for at least five of my wins, I would've lost if I'd played my opponent in the previous week. I also would've beaten Insurrection. So while I'd still be a playoff team and have scored a lot, I've benefited from a lot of good timing.
You also had the most points by far. And timing is everything. The week I played True , I would have defeated everyone else in the league, except the guy I played.
You've had flukey wins!?! I'm still wondering how I beat True in Week 8. @____@
But yeah, I'm surprised by this season, I'll take that bye week.
