Yeah it's kinda weird, I don't know if it's a coincidence but all this talking about how Ichigo shouldn't look at Aizen's shikai we see a lot of facial shots focusing heavily on the eyes of people this chapter. It's like Kubo has an eye fetish near the level of Kishi

I think Rukia is with Isane and getting Renji/Chad healed up. The nakama's have pretty much disappeared now that Ichigo is on his way to Karakura. I thought Kubo would have them all team up and defeat Yammi to strength their bond and such, but he's done a pretty kitten job at showing their friendship...

I think we'll shift focus to Ichigo for now (though he seriously needs some rest).

I'm actually a bit surprised myself; no intervention from Rukia or the others? Ichigo going to Karakura with only Unohana (although I will say Unohana is a pretty good support to have, seeing as Ichigo could use some serious healing done to him, lol). The conversation between Mayuri and Byakuya was an interesting one; both seem to adamant to admit that Ichigo, the hardheaded teenage Substitute Shinigami, is possibly the only hope they have right now. The fact that Aizen probably doesn't even really need to fight any of the people in Karakura right now is disturbing. He's got them all ensnared in Kyoka Suigetsu. Yeesh...

Looks like the big fight's about to start...though the fights in general have been pretty big. I'm interested in seeing what Ichigo's got up his sleeve here. I mean, how the hell is he going to avoid seeing Aizen's shikai? Keep his eyes closed? Hm...

On top of that, there are a LOT of captain level characters who haven't shown their real power yet (Shunsui and Ukitake, to name a few). I just hope that Aizen and company don't go and cut another one of our heroes in twain (damn it, Kubo, please don't kill Hiyori, as annoying as she is, I'd be distraught if she dies!).

Ichigo keeps getting stronger it seems, but I'm confused as to why people are still underestimating his Reiatsu cap. Go kick some Aizen ass!

So current Ichigo is at less than 50% of his bankai form because he only has his right sleeve barely hanging on. If he was to be fully healed he'd be 100% bankai form. Then if he puts on his mask he'd get a double boost because he is using both shinigami and hollow powers. Making him have around 3x Captain level reiastu. Jesus Christ Kubo, you are one hell of a supreme kittenter!

Ichigo bankai -> 2x Captain + Vizard Form -> 1x Captain bonus = 3x Captain level.

And this is without adding the power boost of the newly formed mask which must be a lot more powerful than the original version. When he actually gets experienced in wielding all his power, he's going to be super haxxed more than he already is.

Yay for more Unohana!! Kubo draws her so elegantly and soft that she really stands out well. More Kenpachi and Byakuya interaction as well. Beating up useless Yammi and arguing about who gets left overs. All in all a good chapter with explaining Ichigo's powers and character dialogue/interaction.

EDIT: Lol 'research' break. Those boobs don't draw themselves Kubo

The whole reiatsu thing is kind of confusing to me. How is the outside reiatsu easier to heal than the inside reiatsu? Isn't it all the same for a shinigami who is made up of reiatsu? @_@ When she says healing wounds on the outside, it is still reiatsu so...I just don't get it. Anyways, so Ichigo is being played up as twice as strong as a captain? I don't think that will matter much; there is obviously still a huge gap between himself and the captains and this whole trump card thing I think will fail. He has always had a ton of reiatsu but he still cannot control it very well.

I want to see Yammy do something XD Ken-chan and Bya-chan need to act their age~ X3

Edit: Hm actually, it might be interesting if Ichigo is somehow Aizens trump card as well...as in, by exposing Ichigo to Hueco Mundo he would bring Ichigo closer to being a hollow (which did happen). Perhaps Aizen has a way of controlling the hollow a well. ooooo..

Kenpachi Vs. Byakuya I've waited for that fight along time.

I think Ichigo's zanpaktou and vizard powers increased tremendously ever since he went to Hueco Mundo and after the hollow transformation he went through. Almost like his zanpaktou feeds off of the darkness just like his vizard power and the Espada/Arrancars/hollows become stronger in the dark Hueco Mundo as well.

A lot of people forget about Ichigo being able to suppress the Sougyoku which was said to contain over 100,000+ souls if I'm not mistaken. Ichigo also walks around in his shikai state all the time as well.

so besides Byakuya & Kenpachi kicking ass, they're really pushing Ichigo as a trump card. Unohana seems impressed, so maybe he is as powerful as SS seems to think he is. Still don't know how he will compare to Aizen, who looks to be unbeatable.

Could Orihime have restored Tousens eyesight? I think having eyesight might be both an inprovement AND a problem for Tousen though, since he's been fighting all that time without sight. He's still fighting in the blind as well, so he's not as used to seeing.

I might be wrong though, and he's about to pull down a mask to zomfg powerup. Next week we'll know.

It's almost assuredly a hollow mask. Remember, Aizen started all of this Vaizard business. There's no reason he wouldn't use it on himself or his followers. It's the only way we know of to surpass the shinigami arts as they've been shown. And if you look, that hand gesture is the same one Ichigo and Shinji use when they transform. Also, it'd be counter-intuitive to give Tousen his eyesight, since he's had more than a hundred years of experience fighting blind.

And am I the only one sick to death of Yammy? He doesn't have any of the charm the other nine Espada had. And no real personality to speak of.

Hm, I'm actually kind of interested in seeing if this will make him any better at fighting. As far as I see it right now, he's just a bigger target for Kenpachi and Byakuya. Then again, this is Kubo we're talking about. Never assume anything when dealing with Kubo. Never...

Though, Tousen's hand over his face is looking pretty familiar right now. We'll just have to wait and see!

I thought this was a pretty good chapter, Yamzilla=Hulk with that said Kenpachi and Byakuya better use their final attack like Mayuri kind of stated.

I can't wait to see hollowfied Tousen, Gen, and Aizen fight, this would make a good opportunity to see Shinji, Unnohana, Shunsui, and head captain Yammoto to show their bankai's.

If Aizen becomes a Vizard which seems possible, there's a good chance Vasto Lorde Ichigo will make a comeback to take down Aizen.
