They don't confirm it. Sakura just says something about Naruto doing that because of his rivalry with Sasuke, and Naruto doesn't say anything.lol, okay. And she presumably turned him down?

No people here just assume that Naruto confessed off screen. However Naruto never confessed because SP believed that his feelings don't matter. Only Hinata matters, the rest are expendable.

My best friend hoped for this. Letdown beyond any measure.
Dude, I want to use that idea as a plot line for my fanfic in the version of the Fourth World War that'll be done. :) Your friend is a smart person to want that, Sparda. It'd make a lot of sense and be epic to see Orochimaru, one of the quintessential villains, FINALLY get his due to be the badass villain he deserves to be!

Watched the review! It was awesome XD
I am never going to watch the movie trough! 
Funny thing in 2014 Kishi's inteview, which was a few months before the manga ending. Kishi said that if Naruto becomes Hokage it will be the last thing he will draw. Yet now we have TL,TR, P3, two new chapters with 19 pages, Bolt movie etc etc.
Conclusive my ass!
