Yeah he remembered the promise, which is good. Even though he goes against his own words when he said it's not about the promise anymore. But I'm not just referring to this chapter when it comes to the Sasuke-Sakura-Naruto situation. Every time when there's some sort of conflict between Sakura and Sasuke; Naruto takes Sasuke's side. I think only one time Naruto took Sakura's side and it was in part 1. But everything else, all Sasuke.

 

I think everyone has ALWAYS taken Sasuke's side. Doesn't matter who is doing the choosing, doesn't matter who is on the other side of Sasuke, and it DEFINITELY doesn't matter if it makes no sense, people always choose Sasuke's side.

 

Sakura in the next chapter (or whenever we see her again) the first thing she'll say : "Where..is..S-Sasuke-kun?"

lol with the way Kishi's been writing her character recently, that sounds about right...

 

 

Guys yo want really a shoujo scene where the hero defend his girs is not going to happen and remember guys Naruto doesn't understand girls feelings.

 

lol umm...I don't know if it needs to be shoujo for the main character to defend the one he's in love with..., but at this point, it doesn't even matter because I don't think ANYONE understands Sakura's feelings.

Nothing makes sense. How did Sakura develop this supposed intense love for Sasuke? Why is it so intense after chapters of isolation and coldness from him? Why after all the physical, mental abuse, and rejection is she still in love with him? And why after all that has happened in every single chapter of Naruto is she not cussing him out for his treatment of herself and Naruto. Forget NS why does she even love this guy at all? And comparing this to MK, how does she even resemble Kushina? Kushina never put up with this crap

 

Sakura always had an intense love for Sasuke. If you didn't understand that, you didn't understand nothing about the manga. But meh since it's actually making no sense at all anymore, maybe nobody was understanding this manga at all. What the hell is Kishi doing ?

All I can really say is that I gave up on a satisfactory conclusion to this manga several chapters ago, especially where the romance is concerned. Kishi seems like he just doesn't want to resolve anything, or he's not sure how to and keeps putting it off and making it harder on himself. NaruSaku is still probably the most likely option, but I'm not sure it's canonization will be anything to write home about. It's a shame, cause the manga was really good back in the day. But now it's just a mess all around.

Because when it comes to Sasuke; Naruto doesn't defend his woman. And then if he "does" he says something insignificant and moves on like nothing happened.
Sasuke can do anything to Sakura right in front of Naruto's eyes, and Naruto will go "Oh it's ok Sasuke. You're still my best friend."

I disagree that Naruto was worse than Sakura this chapter (she looked so pathetic it's... pathetic), but the fact that Naruto doesn't defend Sakura and pretty much gives Sasuke a free pass when it comes to him kittening on Sakura (and a free pass for everything, actually) pisses me off so much. In Part I he defended her (even though Sasuke didn't do anything as bad as he did in part II, of course, but still), I loved that. But when Naruto saves Sakura from Sasuke's attempt on her life all he does or says is "Sakura-chan's part of Team 7 like us." As if Sasuke actually gave a kitten about Team 7. And then completely forgets about how the woman he loves was about to killed by his "friend." Ugh.

And later when Sasuke calls her useless he reacts, and defends her, but only with "we should use teamwork!" So I'm glad he had some kind of reaction but it was insignificant.

I understand that it's there. But that's it. It's just there. Its never explained, nor do we get any scenes showing them going out and Sasuke has never admitted to feeling romantic about her. So how did this love develop? Last time I checked you don't just intensely love someone out of thin air. Especially someone who has constantly rejected you and put you down.

"Magically"? I always give much more weight to MS because their translations are always much clearer and much more readable. MP can be kinda horrible at that.
