Healing takes up chakra and she exhausted her chakra in opening the portal.....she barely has enough chakra now. So unless she gets some chakra or Naruto comes in to heal her...her wounds would remain..i'm a bit confused about the byakugou healing. doesn't it patch things up quickly and automatically? when sasuke caught her in the end there's still burn marks on her arm..

Sakura was attacked with a substance that's causing her skin to erode in a constant state of degeneration. Most of the techniques that she's been on the receiving end of have only made contact with her momentarily before being removed or their properties weren't intended to bring about constant injury to the victim. The auto-restoration might have began but it would be stuck in a cycle of instant damage and healing like Naruto's corrosive bijuu shroud.
Edit: Byakugou doesn't leave the user in a perfect physical state. I think Tsunade still had some scorch marks traveling up her arms after she parried Madara's Katon jutsu.

More than likely it will be translated like MP and he'll say she's "sort of" his girlfriend. Who knows maybe they'll even have Sakura blush.
That'd make my day ahaha
Don't even care whether it's cannon or not

Yes it does but the thing is, at that point, Sakura was already exhausted and if you noticed, Byakugo got deactivated, so the ista-regeneration stopped. Not to mention that she focused more on giving her chakra to Obito.

Doesn't mean I don't have a base for my opinion. I am sorry if I came off as rude or arrogant but this was what I felt.
Now that Sakura's sleeve has been ripped off and it shows her tattoo, I think she looks even hotter if that was even possible. Gives her even more swag.
You know, I wonder exactly where all that chakra seal/tattoo appears on her body. That would be interesting to know, but the sort of detail we'll never get from Kishimoto.

I understand what you mean to say. As I have been hearing alot about 615 lately and I do atleast have a glimpse of what might have happened at that time. I had heard about it before and that is why this time I just stated the positive things he did this chapter and simply agreed with the users who shared my concern.
I understand, narusaku256. You don't owe me or anyone else an explanation. You are 100% entitled to your opinion and to say whatever you want about Kishimoto or the story -- within the rules of the forum, that is. ;)
My response to Nate River was not about you or anyone in particular. My observations and comments span several years of history on this forum, throughout which members of this community have passionately discussed opinion vs. critique as well as the impact that criticism toward Kishimoto or the story has on other members who simply wish to enjoy their experience without a steady diet of negativity. It's an ongoing struggle for balance, and it's all good.
But I personally think it's also good to keep in mind that anything regarding shipping is especially sensitive, as I'm sure you understand. As several members said earlier on this thread, we went through hell with the Hinata hysteria back when #615 came out. It was not fun, and something we should endeavor to avoid in the future. And people who weren't here at the time may not realize that it took a lot of effort and patience to restore a lot of people's faith in Kishimoto and the future of NS.
The point is, frequent flat assertions that Kishimoto is terrible at romance, that he doesn't know what he's doing, that he sucks -- whatever -- may be tossed out casually, but they can seriously erode the confidence of other members who look to this forum for support in their belief of NS.
It's one thing to observe Kishimoto could have done something different, or better, but it's another to create the impression that he has no idea what he's doing, that he's playing games, that he has no story plan, or that anything could happen with the romance angle because he's a terrible writer.
Again, I'm not suggesting you are saying these things. I'm suggesting that negative remarks have a cumulative effect on the emotional climate of this community, and being positive is always better than being negative.
Just my opinion as an average H&E contributor.
You know, I wonder exactly where all that chakra seal/tattoo appears on her body. That would be interesting to know, but the sort of detail we'll never get from Kishimoto.
I am sorry I did not meant to say that Kishimoto has no idea what he's doing and all that stuff which you mentioned. I only wanted to say that the 'purpose' of the stuff he carried out was not right[purpose-trolling the fandoms]. I only wanted to say that things could've been done better. It is just lately with the Sakura's portrayal some chapters ago and the trolling in the latest one, wherein I had a hard time accepting Kishimoto's motives.
Anyways, I understand your concern and I'll take care of the stuff next time :). You have been here since a long time and as a junior I ask you for an advice. What should people do if they want to express their discontent/disagreement over how things take place? I understand that putting a negative feedback in here can cause issues, but what to do if they feel like sharing their ideas on how things could've been done better or mentioning things which were totally unnecessary. Ofcourse what might be good to some, might be bad to some and vice versa. But everyone should be able to voice their opinion, right? Is there a solution to go about doing that, without harming other's confidence?
I apologize once again for stating things a bit bluntly.
Edit: I am not losing faith in pairing, Kishimoto to some extent, yes! But I am pretty sure about NS. I did not say that because things did not go the NS way, it was the purpose, I mentioned about. I hope you get what I want to convey. Other pairings can have moments for all I care, what I am bothered with is the 'purpose' of them which is trolling the fandoms.

People have different views/opinions and its only right to allow them to express what they feel. There would be no fun if everything said is all nice and positive and neither will it be pleasant to hear all negative . Funnily that reminds me of NH and SS attributes
But here a little bit of confusion and little bit of doubts are fine amidst the positive, that's what makes NS stand out after all.

Or maybe stating things in a less offensive way would do? Like maybe...instead of stating 'Kishimoto sucks at writing romance', I should've stated 'I know he is not that good at writing romance....' and so on and so forth what I wanted to say? Is it this what you mean?
Well, that's for the moderators to decide. But if I interpret the general rules correctly, no one should feel censored. No one should feel they can't share their opinion just because it might be negative or upset other people. Everyone has the same rights of expression.
Like I said, I happen to think it's all about balance. I think it would be helpful if people kept in mind that they are members of a community here, and that what we each say and do might affect the feelings of others. If you have a criticism you believe is valid, by all means express it.
But if it's been said a zillion times already, or doesn't add anything constructive to the conversation, or you know it will be harmful or divisive to the community, or the desire to say it is merely to stir people up, maybe choosing to say something else would be better...?
Smiter and his crew have built a really good community for NS, and one that aims to foster discussions of all opinions. Each poster has to use their best judgment. That's all we can do as individuals.
But anyways, I thank you for suggesting one of the possible ways out of this

I think this was a good chapter overall.
I'm so proud of Sakura (and Kishi by extension), she definitely shined this chapter, and she played an integral part in their ability to find and get Sasuke back. Saved Obito and handled that acid like a boss.
This was a great chapter for Sakura, but I sincerely hope that that's not all that Kishi has planned for her. Like someone mentioned in the earlier pages of this thread, I also don't want the only time for her to shine is when she was basically acting as a battery.
And kudos to Obito for the great observation of Sakura wanting to help Naruto. By recognizing the NS drive of the moment, he has redeemed himself a bit in my eyes.
Sigh. That last page doe.
Don't get me wrong, I personally don't think its an SS moment. The feeling I get from the look in Sasuke's eyes in their eye contact is one that pans back a couple of chapters when Sasuke was saying how anyone other than Naruto and Sasuke, himself, is useless. So I see that look as more of a sense of gratitude and begrudging acknowledgment that she's not useless. But of course, not everyone will see it that way, in fact, I believe that a majority of Naruto readers (not counting the NS fans) will see it as a major development for SS. Also, I see some people freaking out on the way that he caught her. Let's face it guys, Kishi loves to be dramatic and flashy when it comes to Sasuke, and how else would you have wanted him to catch her? I actually accept this way of catching her, because it shows minimal effort on his part and it's not so overly dramatic like a bridal carry or anything.
I find it so funny (read:
) that every time a NS moment or anything about their relationship ever comes up, it always has to be through someone else' mouth. And for some godforsaken reason, they never say it in a complete sentence nor do they ever freaking finish what they say, so it's always ambiguous as hell. While NH fans and SS fans get these flashy, in-your-face moments. Again, I'm not saying those were truly telling NH and SS moments, but its just always more showy than the NS moments. lol don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing overall tho. On the one hand, it keeps those moments so precious and it also shows that the people around Naruto and Sakura (i.e. Yamato, Sai, Obito, etc.) notice and realize those things about them. But on the other hand, it just goes to show that Naruto and Sakura themselves have no idea of their feelings or of their relationship, themselves.
Well, I guess what's left now is for Naruto to show up and drape his coat onto poor Sakura who keeps losing her clothes ,...while the clothes of the people who are constantly getting attacked somehow remain completely intact.

Any chapter with Sakura showing her badass self is instantly a good chapter for me! Other than that, I quite liked the teamwork between Obito and Sakura and despite my dislike for his character, I briefly thought that if he didn't go to the dark side he could have been like a brother to Sakura and the subject of admiration for Naruto. What do you think about the chapter ramenanmitsu?
I also liked how Sasuke acknowledged Sakura in the end. Looking and communicating with the eyes are very important, unlike in the West where words mean everything. At least he paid the respect she deserved and hopefully that will resolve Sakura's future self depreciation.
One disappointment I had was that Sasuke's new power isn't as cool as I hoped. What is this? A different version of kawarimi?
All in all good chapter. Now I'm wondering....
How the hell are they going to return back!? The only ninja I know that had the ability to lend chakra is Naruto and Sakura.
Regarding Kishi's twitter....Are the followers stupid? The recent JUMP hasn't hit the stores yet and we're not supposed to know what happened. There would be hell to pay if some fans have sent him a letter ALREADY saying how much they enjoyed the new chapter because they shouldn't have been able to read it YET! Not to mention, a middle school boy was arrested for posting one piece spoiler on YouTube before it's release. Thinking that Kishi would make such a comment before the release is absurd.

You're forgetting a lot of significant players on your short list there.
There were A LOT of long-time H&E members who showed their unwavering support for NS, even if it meant standing up to some of our own.
Well, to be honest, I couldn't remember the names, so I only recall very few. I know there were more, just couldn't remember.
