Yes you are by in defending the way Sakura is wording the context. A few Japanese people and my friend have said it's odd she would use those terms for her husband; since it's usually meant for someone's else husband or what a geisha would have used to refer to their clients. It's a term to distance one self from that person. Why so defensive about it?
