For plot? What sense of intrigue would there be if it was resolved already. We already know that authors like to keep this kind of storyline open until the very end. Why on earth is this surprising to you?

The intrigue is long gone because Kishi felt the need to make Sakura hold on to a love that makes no sense, and on top of that he's giving her plenty of reasons to stop loving this guy romantically, yet she doesn't. If murder attempts, death threats, and insults don't seem to work, what will? I think it's about as stretched out enough as it is already.

I'm confused do you think NS has a chance or not? You sound pretty confident it will definitely not happen. I could very well say that NS will happen because Naruto is in love with Sakura, but just because someone is in love with anyone it's not enough to claim it will be like that until the end.

I think NS is going to come out on top. But it will be some illogical BS that will make it happen most likely. Kishi has dug himself a big hole when it comes to Sakura's love for Sasuke, which taints in the canonization of NS.

I could very well say: What exactly is the point of Naruto enduring everything he goes through with Sakura if it's hopeless in the end?

Most of the stuff Naruto goes through with Sakura is mainly Sasuke related. Like brining him back, not trying to win her heart. He doesn't expect her love, and she certainly isn't obligated to love him back.

You line of thinking will only make you go in circles since it can be applied to Naruto as well.

I would be going in circles if I actually did apply it to Naruto. Naruto's nindo is the reason why he hasn't given up on Sasuke, even after all the BS he's done. People who actually think Naruto is going to give up on Sasuke should re-read the manga to understand his character better.

So what bothers you is that when NaruSaku happen it's resolution will not satisfy the expectations you personally placed on it, right?

I suppose I understand what you're trying to say. I'm not as bothered about it as you might be but I completely understand why you would feel disappointed about it. I can't really help you there. You'll just have to hope that Kishi does solves it in a way that will not be as bad as you feared.

Yeah, but the problem is fanservice, i'd say that pairing often crack up an story look at Obito the most reasonable way for Obito to accept Naruto's resolution is Sakura dying and Naruto choosing a different path than Obito then he accept he is wrong and do the edo tensei.
But then he will do this?
It's clearly that he will not because he cant, he will not piss off the NH fans and neither will piss off the NS fans holding this to the end.

We all thought Sakura moved on from Sasuke when he tried to kill her but then we got 540 showing she still has feelings for Sasuke.

Just look everytime we have a NS or NH scene there's always a push back, Hinata's confession then shortly after he draw a panel that Naruto loves Sakura which is reasonable.
In the end of that arc we got a NS scene and a mini-arc with Sakura Naruto and Sasuke as the main casters, we have Sakura doing everything for Naruto there, and showing how much she "loves" naruto to a point that she was willing to lift his burden and makes Naruto hate her.
but still we got a huge "hold on" on 540.

615 is a clear example of this that was the moment that NH could happen then 616 was a huge setback for NH it made 615 for nothing.

So going though this logic luffy which is some aspect is the same as mine the thing is that:
he did bs with all the pairings, NS, NH , SS.

This video from Tokyokit explains the difference between a naruto and a menma inside the ramen. The interesting thing is that the pink pattern of the naruto is shaped like a sakura flower.



Makes you wonder if the naruto having pink actually means anything. The funny part is that when someone pointed out the pink in connection to Sakura a couple of NaruHina fans didn't waste time to bash the comment. I sometimes wonder if people that bash just do it because they secretly feel threatened that the other person might be right. I guess that's why a lot of people downplay the parallels by calling them "para-lols" and think they are stupid. Yet in this latest chapter Kishi proves once again that he has a parallel fetish.

If I apply it to pairings I could say that Kishi has notably kept Naruto and Sakura from interacting just as he has kept apart Sasuke and Karin. Those two pairs fell apart during the Summit arc and it seems Kishi is purposely delaying their resolution for as long as he can.

That is very funny, the ones who protest act like this is the only "evidence" we've got. I just had to comment too, oh sometimes I can't help myself. Let's just say that I think they would've agreed if it wasn't about Naruto and Sakura. I mean, the whole video was about who the characters are in a ramen bowl.

Kushina already hinted very obviously at NS, let's hope Minato does too!

btw, I think this "incredible event" will be a positive one. Neji's death was sad, not incredible. The Kage revival was epic, not incredible. As for Hinata, I don't care enough to find anything incredible about her, but that's so bias that Kishi might not think the same. I think he does though.

Exactly. It could be any number of things. Personally, I doubt it has anything to do with NS.

Guys, guys, I wasn't implying the incredible incident had anything to do with NS, I was referring to the foreshadowing.

Kishi said that many things he foreshadowed will come into place and then he added about an incredible incident also happening. NaruSaku is the very definition of a pairing that will happen based on foreshadowing so I was thinking that it could be one of the many things Kishi mentioned that will come into place, not the only thing.
