That kishi does it for drama only.

And what "otto" means to you, I thought it was just a normal way to say "husband"
Well if you read what my friend told me, then she told me 'otto' is a way to mark a distance with your husband.

You guys probably don't remember it, but I once said here that I'm a member of a Polish forum for mature/older manga & anime fans which also happens to be an official forum for one of Polish manga publishers. So, people there don't really talk about Naruto Gaiden, BUT lately someone on Facebook asked the Polish publisher of Naruto if they'll also publish Gaiden. The publisher responded with "it's a sort of one-volume-long epilogue, so we'll probably do it" and this caused some of my fellow forum members to talk briefly about Gaiden. This is the translation for what everyone said:
Person 1 - I stopped reading Naruto long time ago, but tumblr is exploding with this "Who's the mother?" stuff from Gaiden, so I read some of it. My God, is this funny!
Person 2 - Gaiden can't be taken seriously, but if you read it as a ridiculous comedy, it's amazing.
Person 3 - I think the author is pandering to the new target since the Naruto fans grew up, AKA the young moms. xD But I also think that he shows Sauce and Naruto as bad fathers to justify his own behaviour towards his family (he said in the interviews that he doesn't even have the time to celebrate the birthdays of his children
).
So yeah, the Polish fans (at least the older ones...) don't have a positive opinion on this stuff either.
Oh, the name of the forum is Waneko Forum, Idk if there's someone from Poland who'd be interested.

Now, let's be fair, some genuinely good things came out of Gaiden too... For example, I wouldn't know how to say "pępowina" [Polish word for umbilical cord] in English if not for this soap opera. ![]()
The tradition of the Japanese mothers keeping the umbilical cord of their children is also something new to me. It was really interesting! Same with the meaning and use of danna, danna-sama and otto. ![]()

So pretty much the people that read Gaiden only read it for the lolz. Except the people that think it's a masterpiece *cough* whateverworld *cough*.

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Meh it's whatever. There's still that line for me, I just can't be bothered pretending like the rest of it didn't happen. The way they turned out is really disgusting, and it's kinda ruined the appeal of associating with them, whether it's who they are or who they once were. Just one of the many effects of putting faith in the wrong characters and the wrong writer.Don't get me wrong
I still like NS, it's one ( and will forever be one) of my OTP's.
When I remember NS, I will remember the time Naruto had some shred of coherent storytelling and plot, a time where chapters were anticipated not for the reaction it's revelations would bring to the fandom in general but for the implications such revelations would bring to the story itself...
Most of us may not like Naruto at all anymore but we can't deny it was indeed a part of our lives during some point
That's bad :/
In my mind there is a very clear division from the Naruto and Sakura from before and what they could've been to the lifeless dolls they turned out to be

"I am the One-Eyed King."

When referring to another person's husband, this term is often suffixed with 様 (sama) as 旦那様 (danna-sama)... — Wikitionary
O.O ...... ..... ... .
SS fans must have edited it to justify the dialogue ![]()

Keep telling yourself that because I never saw her use the terms Kinji's for Otto or husband. It's usually used in referring to another woman's husband not that that matters butt your just trying to justify this twist.Sakura say "danna-sama" and after "otto" (when her is talking with the villain)
