I blame MS for this. Or at least they probably think it's fine to leave. I wasn't aware of their status. It does seem weird that MS suddenly translating series that don't suited for them. Once they got TG, they just suddenly decided to do much more. Haikyuu was wtf to me. I don't know why, it just do.

^better scan quality? I'm not so sure about that. MS' scans are really good, and their translations are generally good as well. Didn't really see much difference in the translations tbh. They might beat MS in speed, but their work has a limited sample size. Gotta wait and see.

then you clearly haven't seen quality digital scans, it's just a bunch of tumblrinas translating the chaps. Remember when Mutsuki was "black" so dumblr could self-insert into trap?

I've seen them, they look about as good as MS. MS also never translated Mutsuki as black, that was well before them.

Btw, what happened to imperial scans? I was gone for a while and they like... disappeared? Alongside Casanova scans.

*looks back* Well, it's Eto, duh. Prob the strongest ghoul in the series right now.

Imperial Scans shut down because they didn't have the time anymore, not sure what happened to Cassanova.

Can't wait to see what happens next, wonder why Eto threatened Kaneki not to tell anyone...

I remember a thread about these. IS did some poor decisions such as not utilizing double page spread when it was needed. Not to mention, there are times the chapter seems too dark, where it gave me an impression that he's being Kubo. But then we saw the other version and it looks very sharp and there are instances that double spread really adds character.

I've already seen both, as I said, I just don't see much of a difference.

I remember a thread about these. IS did some poor decisions such as not utilizing double page spread when it was needed. Not to mention, there are times the chapter seems too dark, where it gave me an impression that he's being Kubo. But then we saw the other version and it looks very sharp and there are instances that double spread really adds character.

IS' biggest problem is that they translated chapters with a social bias/agenda. For instance, they made Mutsuki darker than what the skin color actually was, and they also assigned Mutsuki a pronoun when Ishida never hinted at what Mutsuki really went by. The translator even said that "I use the pronoun because I want to, Ishida always calls Mutsuki by name." On both occasions, it led to the SJW morons on tumblr to start bashing Ishida when they have no idea what the hell they're talking about.

Sorta? It's not entirely clear because Ishida never refers to Mutsuki as anything other than Mutsuki, and doesn't use she/he when referencing Mutsuki. Mutsuki even said that Mutsuki has no problem with being a girl.
