Well doesn't every captain but Zaraki (Ken-chan!) have a bankai? I just assumed the older and more experienced/powerful the captain, the less they use their bankai. Hence Hitsyugaya almost always using his like Ichigo where the senior captains never bring theirs out.


Though either way, Unohana probably has either the super best healing or absolute destruction. Hard to tell with bankai forms.

That felt like old Bleach again with the humor. Ichigo isn't as emo as before and I liked the interaction between him and Kenpachi. And finally Captain Mom is here! Yammi is small time and her job will be most likely to fix up Hiyori and heal all the people in Karakura. Man after three years Ichigo has had one long day (though lol @ him forgetting about his nakama). I hope when he gets to the real world and the Yammi fight is done, we can get a much needed time skip. He needs that time to train and Aizen needs to reorganize.

Bleach 380 is the reason I love Byakuya. He doesn't beat around the bush, he knows what needs to be done. What's more, he's right. Ichigo became a shinigami to protect his friends and family, not wage a one man war against the afterlife. That's the
job of the Captains, and what's more, it's a job they're much better at than Ichigo.

And how did Mayuri go from being such a psycho when he fought Ishida, to being all kinds of awesome now? Was he on his menstrual cycle when the humans invaded, or something?

The fact that Unohana just gave the death glare to Mayuri, of all people, just increases her awesome. I really want to see her fight. I've wanted to ever since I first saw her flying manta ray sword. And according to the stats in the databooks, she has the third highest stats of all the captains. And by that, I mean she's second only to Aizen and Yamamoto.

Stop bogarting the awesome, Kubo-sensei!

Not one of my favorite chapters, but that's ok. It was entertaining at least, watching Kenpachi get clubbed by Yammy's bus-sized fist, and just looking at Byakuya be awesome in his own prudish way. Ichigo is just, eh. He isn't there yet. I don't expect him to do much in fake Karakura anyways. No way he can be awesome when his shinigami robes are in shreds

Yeah, I just don't see Ichigo being able to fight Aizen without looking at his Shikai. Their's no way Ichigo can be good at fighting like a blind shinigami "Tousen". I'm sure Unohana and the others knowIchigo can't be Aizen at his current state and hopefully have something he can use to help aid him. (Perhaps it's gonna be hollowfied Ichigo again against Aizen. )

ICHIGO is the one to fight AIZEN? no, I don't think so. I mean, really, LOL ALRIGHT ICHIGO GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

because Ichigo hasn't been exposed to Aizen's Shikai, the best course of action is to ... bring him in plain view of the Shikai. brilliant. let's ignore the fact that Aizen's power doesn't only come from the fact that his Shikai is scary strong; his kido, sword skills, cunning in battle and just plain strength are far, far above Ichigo.

there must be a master plan at work here. Kubo must be setting up Ichigo for a massive fail. the ONLY ONE who can possibly match Aizen right now is Urahara. (maybe a Yamamoto+Unohana team.) where is my sexy boyfriend mad scientist, anyway? URAHARA COME BACK *weeps and tears off clothing in despair*

How has everyone seen Aizen's shikai...? Oh well... I think its pretty clear that this plan will fail...Ichigo is in no mind-set to defeat Aizen, shown by his shadowed worried look at the end. Do I sense a training arc with Unohana and Ichigo stuck in the gargunda?

Also I guess the whole "Eyes of the Victor" comes into relation with Ichigo not having seen Aizen's shikai. Even so, they guy's fought a multitude of opponents in just a few hours. Give him a break already Kubo.

Kenpachi sure looks to be having fun chopping up Yammi. And the Mayuri/Byakuya interaction was hilarious; I love when Captains have dialouge with one another.

Oh I forgot to mention..cracked eye Mayuri was hilarious. Kubo is really playing up the intense dislike for Urahara (first from soifon).

Anyone else wondering what the heck happened to Rukia? She disappeared.
