Pretty much, and Boruto comes off irrelevant to things just like his mom.

Aside from a softer skin pigmentation and that peculiar mishmash of hairstyles, what is it that the spawn inherited from Hinata? He has none of the personality or aesthetical traits of mommy. Does he even pledge loyalty or association to the Hyuga clan? I can't see how they would have have much in common, especially since he grew up in a modernistic lifestyle surrounded by normal civilians instead of traditionalist Hyuga members.

I don't think SP and Kishi thought that far ahead honestly. For them it was all about the hype of making their perfect ship canon. Things like chemistry, parental bonds, and the relationship between the heroine, hero, and their kids is silly stuff that isn't important. In their eyes when the seams start falling apart it can all be fixed with Uchiha drama.

Lol even Bolt and Himawari's hair makes no sense. It looks nothing like their mothers, aside from Himawari having the same color of hair as her mother, but that's about it. The little waves in Bolts hair and those freaking little stems that they both have come out of nowhere. Then we add the fact that they have whiskers, and no byakugan and you can pretty much say that Naruto somehow was the only person that is their biological parent and he gave birth to them instead of Hinata. She was merely there for show. When I think about a third child being added I'm like....why? I mean I know it's because Kishi wants to correct his mistake about the byakugan, but still adding another child isn't going to fix the damage he's made with the other two. Heck he should develop invisible-chan instead of making another abomination for crying out loud. Kishi's so good at BS that he can make Himawari the first Hyuga to ever get the byakugan later on in life, just like how Uchiha's get their Sharigan. Even that would be better than giving already bad parents another child to ignore and fail at raising.
You also state a big issues and that's with Hinata's family. It's all just one big train wreak. I mean if Naruto married Sakura it wouldn't be a big thing since Sakura doesn't come from a huge clan, and Naruto's is gone basically. Yet we have Naruto marrying into like the biggest clan, aside from the Uchiha's. I honestly didn't even think it was allowed to marry outside of the Hyuga clan. It was like a royal family so in my head I was like yeah they marry within the family, but no apparently it's alright to do so, especially if the precious Hyuga princess decides to do so.
Now it's like all the nobility that surrounded Hinata is gone. It's like she's a nobody now. All her guards that watched her like hawk during her academy days are gone and they aren't even shown to be watching over her family. So even though she was, or still is, the "Hyuga Princess" her title was very well stripped from her and was given to her younger sister. Now she wears frumpy clothes while attending to the many duties of keeping a home running. Are her kids aware of their clan? Do they even have a good relationship with their grandfather? Does Hinata even do anything for her clan or has she really just separated herself from them? All of these are questions that can just be added to the endless array of others that Kishi has so graciously bestowed up us.

They could always introduce another Hyuga that wasn't excreted from Hinata to fill in the role of Byakugan user for this "new generation". Of course, that would lead to the remnants of the once strong fanbase pounding their quivering chests in frustration at being denied a true biological successor to Hinata's lacklustre career as a shinobi. The male spawn is a replica of Naruto through and through, and I'm not entirely certain the female spawn has even used a kunai before. Who do they have to appease their yearning for some expert Byakugan/Uzumaki hybrid that fanfics write feverishly about?

Naruto is the hero who played an instrumental role in the downfall of Akatsuki, Madara, Jubi, and Kaguya. He's been exposed to the intricate customs and practices of their system through Neji. On top of that, Naruto is a descendant and spiritual successor to Hagoromo (making him distantly related to the Hyuga clan anyway), alongside being the child of a former Hokage, which would ensure him to be a prime candidate for propagating with.
If Hiashi actually understood every facet to Naruto's heritage and power, I could understand the logic in him pimping out his daughter under the notion that it would grant him and the Hyuga clan even more prestige and authority as the father-in-law to Rikudou's reincarnation and a future Hokage candidate.
Self-serving reasons aside, I couldn't imagine a man who is so adherent to tradition allowing the bloodline to thin out by allowing an outsider to marry one of their own. Already they're seeing children who are genetically related to them not following the clan motto or adopting their specific set of skills, after just one generation.

From what I understand, it seems like Hinata married out of the clan and into the typical civilian life instead of the other way around. She always prioritised and was more concerned about Naruto than the well-being of her own family. Why should their fate matter to her when she finally has her prized ape all to herself now? First chance she got, she left the clan. The only question left to ask is whether she's taken to adopting the Uzumaki insignia or not.

Why not? he Fell in love with an alien didn't he? And had ugly alien children.
Let me elaborate. SAID alien is SO unaccustomed to normal human behaviour that "N-Naruto-kun" Starts to make sense, now doesn't it? Plus she looks the part. I'm just saying.
Come at me if you want NH. Defend your moe, well endowed princess it you want, cause be honest the reason you love/defend the pairing so much that you confuse Naruto or her with yourself no?

I'm still surprised that Kishi became one pf the many writers that inspired me to become an upcoming author, what the hell was I thinking?
Hey, put it this way, dude. Kishimoto taught you how NOT to write a good story. So take his mistakes and his bad techniques as ways not to do a good story.

It sure is, guys. And it shows you to not give up on the path you have set up, because if you do, you end up with only extremists willing to follow you, and then you keep making your story into a piece of crap. =/ Which is why no matter what for my fanfic, I refuse to change my path, so I don't end up a pathetic washed-up has-been like Kishi is destined to be.

Well that and her fans can't find love in real life either so if Hinata gets what she wants then they are getting what they have always wanted I mean that is just sad, I mean I don't have a girlfriend, but I don't do what they do.

He inspired us all to not become like him.
At least he taught us a valuable lesson.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

I can say with confidence that I was more eager to write my novels perfectly the way I wanted more than ever since this ending happened
So thanks Kishimoto. now I know what kind of writer and person I want to be. I am sorry Naruto had to suffer and be sacrificed, but I guess it had to be,

It also what I do the real Naruto and Sakura live on in my heart both are happy and married together having a happy family with Naruto still playing jokes on his friends at times and Sakura telling him off for doing so,

First chance she got, she left the clan. The only question left to ask is whether she's taken to adopting the Uzumaki insignia or not.
Yes, you've put it perfectly.
From everything we know of the Hyuuga clan to outwardly be proud and protective of their byakugan, and inwardly committed to upholding the tradition of shackling family members who might later pose a threat to the head family. So the orphaned powerhouse of who's in an undisputed line for Hokage would be especially appealing to a family that built it's power the old fashioned way - by marriage and suppression. And Naruto has been revealed to be an Minato and Kushina's child, but without the messy problem of extra family, so the Hyuuga's could have a future son-in-law of a good family name and not have to share him with another clan or set of tradition. The Hyuuga's could influence him completely.
So the pressure on Hinata to claim this prize of husband would have been huge. Piling already onto her stalker view of Naruto. Now the whole clan would have been stalking him!!
And yes, it does seem like Hinata has left her clan behind to marry him. Instead of her being the dutiful daughter, she is living outside the bounds of the clan restraints, devoted entirely to Naruto's needs. They don't live inside the clan compound, they don't have to perform the bird seal, the are not protected by the other members of the family like Hinata was, and the children are not being raised as Hyuugas, constantly fighting and trying to establish a pecking order although knowing they'll never be out of it.
There seems to be no intention of Hinata's part of moving into the head of her clan. So my guess is that role has moved to Hanabi, and Hinata has relinquished every claim to the Hyuuga clan except for the name. It's an amicable separation, however, because Hiashi and the rest of the family still want to keep their good influence with the Hokage.
I have to think that if Hinata had married outside the clan to someone like Kiba — a naruto-esque shinobi of middling skill with the same loud mouth and crass nature as naruto — the Hyuuga family would not have been so kind to her. She would have been roundly disowned by her family, and brought into a family that was entirely the opposite of her upbringing leaving her to feel just as lost in her adult family as she did as in her childhood one.
