I didn't find any news about the double final chapters next week, maybe that user has got some info from a different source? I dunno...

Naruto's eyes look a little too far apart on that cover lol..

I kind of want to see a chapter 700. An epilogue chapter would be nice, especially if the colour is done by Kishi. Or it could be a lead in to the movie. That'd be cool, too.

Yeah but if Kishimoto is the one responsible for the plot of the Movie, it would make sense for them to acknowledge the movie. I can understand with previous movies, (with the exception of RtN) they might just want to keep it to just general promotion (which makes sense considering the more tickets they sell the moremoney SJ earns) though I don't think they do much else than that, I don't think Kishi himself got involved much in promoting the early movies but I could be wrong. With both RtN and the upcoming movie, Kishi has been involved with the creation of the movies, so it would make sense they'd want to promote the movies more with a special chapter or movie details and interviews etc.

 

He's created all the charactors new looks, the boss, the plot for the new movie, and as far as I know the movie is Canon, unless I've missed the memo about it somewhere. I wouldn't even be surprised if SJ release the movie in Manga format in their monthly Manga magazine later down the line, not everyone who reads the manga will watch the movie so it would be a good wa of getting them upto speed of the epilogue.

Kishi creates the story and the design, the rest he just leaves it up to the Studio... which isn't such a good thing tho'... I always wonder if he's not bothered in the slightest how they trash Sakura...

I wouldn't take Pierrot seriously either if Kishi's position were my own. Not with the manner in which they subverted certain events of the manga and its characters to accommodate their made-up variation of how they believe it should pan out; not to mention their questionable artistic choices. They may have the legal rights to label Naruto as their animated work, but that doesn't make Kishi obligated to bridge his genuine medium with theirs, regardless of any trumped up reason that might be given to legitimise themselves as architects of the canon universe.

Its simple...

The manga Naruto will END conclusively in 2 weeks.Meaning that Kishi will make a ~10 year timeskip to show us

how Naruto is the Hokage and also his own family (maybe only his children and not the wife to troll us).

 

THE MOVIE will be about the 3 years after the war and -7 years before the shown timeskip in the manga..

Kishi wont rely on the movie.. to end the manga conclusively.....its so simple..

 

Finally.. if there is gonna be another arc after this.. i mean the new era projocect in which Kishi wont be the plot creator..

It will be about the 7 year after the movie until the final timeskip in the manga.

I hope you are right. I really want to see a conclusive ending, and that includes the romance sub-plot , in the manga.
