Yeah Runnaway Locomon was retconned later to not being canon apparently. Takato Rika hints were too strong, it seemed

I heard that is canon and the movie was like alternative ending, but who knows in the fandom

Yeah apparently. It was the sequel to runnaway Locomon and ignored Rika Takato hints. Well not that that Takato X Jeri is bad or anything. But Why was there no real foreshadowing for it and then bam, mid season Takato confesses to just liking Jeri out of the blue? He never indicated he liked her more than a friend before so I'm perplexed at that one. Rika and Ryo don't have any chemistry besides through wisecracks and sarcasm at each other.

 

when anime writers say their series isn't "focused romance" what they mean is they can "write anything" and then flimsily excuse it.  Like their targeted audience are morons. Again, it's nothing against the pairings that are more or less canon in tamers I just wished it was elaborated more. Same deal with Sorato, subtly hinted at, Yeah sure Kaikudo, then why didn't the other members on the staff get the message? Why didn't you make a more blatant hint like Matt going after Sora when she was kidnapped instead of Tai? If you want to break what was in your mind cliche, You should have been better and worked harder on on it

Concerning Rika and Ryo, they were never hinted at nor they ended up together. It's just some fans likes them together.

 

Takato and Rika had moments in both the season and in Locomon Runaway, but didn't end up together.

 

As for Takato and Jeri, Takato was hinted to like Jeri in the season, but they didn't end up together.

 

None of the characters till now in all the Digimon seasons ended up together except in season 2 in the epilogue. It's a series that work on the DigiDestined and their digimons, friendship, teamwork and the events in the Digital World.

 

The current season is unknown if they will go or will know about the Digital World XD

yep same with pokemon, the games are more mature than the anime, villains trying to murder you, giovanni supposedly committing suicide, haunted houses, people killed by darkrai's nightmares, gambling, the creepy pokedex entries that could give kids nightmares, town of dead pokemon with ghosts and creepy music(lavender town)

anyone saying the games are only for kids or are majorly kid friendly needs to actually play the games since that is a load of crap xD

I got cyber sleuth on ps4 and loved it so much I bought a ps vita and the ps vita version of cyber sleuth just so I could play it on the go lol

Yeah. Plus, the game to be finished have to be thought through a lot till you get to the end.

 

Their games have a person thinking a lot on what to do, understand what the characters meant, train you pokemons a lot so you can continue on with the game, and especially where to go next in order to progress in the game or else the player is stuck.

 

I remember having some hard times with it some years ago.

*side note* I just think it is stupid to generalize boys as uninterested in romance and not write relationships properly in a lot shonen series. Not that all shonen series do romance or relationships poorly but I speak in general.

welp to be fair, it didn't erase the hints in the actual series, there was the scene in the tunnel where he commented on rika's shirt, and there's still the whole dream girl tease, but that's about it.

also I agree phantom, it didn't seem big on takato and jeri to me either, if it was I would have expected a bigger moment between them when he saved her from d reaper, we didn't even get that, even shonens did a better job at those kinda hints than tamers did if this is the case, even g gundam did it better lol.

makes me think they were never  confirmed couples, just fake interviews by fans like the naruto ones,  besides tamers was out back in the days the internet wasn't big, there weren't any interviews to look up online or any of that mess, so I find that very hard to believe. internet didn't get this big till close to the late 2000s, whereas tamers was all the way back in 2001 when the internet was still growing.

You raise the Digimon ab through digivolving and de digivolving through level up, and raise the cam with Digi meat. be warned you're gonna have to de digivolve and re digivolve digimon for a while to get the stats for the special ones you want, its worth it in the end though

True worth it, I though first these methods to Digievolve were a pain in the neck, but if we think about it somehow is more fun and dynamic. In the beginning of the already I am trying get the RK order.

Yeah for sure buddy. It's not that Jerato is a bad thing it's only that it seemed suddenly thrown in for the sake of it because there were little to no hints before, and as you said something COULD have happened after he bridal carried her after they defeated the D-reaper but nope.  And yeah, the Gundam Franchise HAS done a better job at hinting pairings, there is just a lot of yaoi preference going on that boat

Im really confused about the rika x takato thing did they really have romantic hints? cause if i recall they were kept platonic thought out season 3 I only remember one scene that hinted them liking one another but thats it. Was this heavily hinted in the sub? Personality i thing the creator of tamers did a better job at subverting the romance between the 2 leads than kakudo At least jeri and takato had more moments that was obvious if i recall And he didn't  mistreat the mc for romance and try to pass off something 100 percent unique. 

 

Also regarding jerato i think the creator did intended it.  He did mention that takato was falling for jeri and the blog is offical.

Regarding sorato the tv tropes strangled by the string page sums up the issue regarding that pair. Apparently since sorato wasent THAT well written they had to make a retcon in a the psp digimon adventures game they made a taiorato love triangle instead that completely went aganist kakudos vision regarding sorato. And if you check the link to tv tropes it also links to the directors frustrations with the retcon. Thats proof that he REALLY messed up. 

 

Also he didn't wanna make sorato too obvious according to that interview that i read but he never explained why.

I think it's vice versa. I think Bakumon will help Tai, Yamato and Sora.

- Mugendramon will be showed up from whomever is manipulating the dark events.

 

- Possibly the others, except for the main three, can't do nothing which leaves the three able to do something.

 

- Hououmon ( ) is going to battle against Mugendramon and the three are going to execute a plan, or Tai and Yamto are going to help Sora with something in the battle.

 

- Maybe Sora will be the key to Tai's and Matt's conflict.
