I would still claim that Tsunade would be more popular but i have no sources about this.

If you were in 2ch you would know that characters like Tsunade, and Kakashi are NOT popular. They are bashed frequently(not as much as Hinata). Also if you go to 2ch they have discussions regarding popular character goods so go check it out.
I agree with you that popularity doesn't affect the story.

i dont go too often to 2ch that's why my comment about Tsunade was refering about other stuff and which why i said that i had no sources.
I just said that Tsunade was more popular because of the absurd amount of doujins she get.

I'm only talking about the situation in 2ch. Tsunade is bashed because people consider her a weak Kage.
Kakashi....I don't know why really. People call him weak, useless, a bad teacher and etc. He is frequently compared to Gai and they praise Gai a lot and use it as a stick to bash Kakashi. But after the Kakashi vs. Obito, I'd say the hatred towards him calmed down.

Regarding the popularity of Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura I cannot say using 2ch as a source. Those three are very loved AND hated characters. I've seen many arguments regarding who is the better hero? Naruto or Sasuke? (Especially, since Sasuke is not as popular as he used to be.) All I can is they have the most Goods and figures being produced and sold but that could only be because they are the main characters. So in the end, I cannot judge the popularity of the those three characters.

Neither do I. There will never be a concrete answer unless you enslaved the whole nation to do one. Oh well.
So, three more days. What to do?

As much as I want to see more Sakura in action and NS moments, I'll keep my expectation low as usual. For all we know, Kishi can do anything and make it anticlimactic NS. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, I just try not to think about it too much. If anything, 450, 631, 632, 662 & 663 have given me a lot of pleasant surprises ;) Nobody see it coming in that form isn't it?

Which makes me think that all those development for NS, all those NS moments included in the art works outside canon manga (e.g. Road to Ninja, video games, novel, etc) will be a totally waste of effort if NS isn't the end game. It'll make those development and art works a big joke. I won't be surprised if there will be SS/NH moments, because up till today, Kishi still concluded those moments with NS moments.

So, three more days. What to do? For me, Enjoy my life, sit back and patiently wait until the next NS moments are rolling out ;)

But i even understand the hatred towards Kakashi, he always prefered Sasuke and never trained Naruto only did it afterwards on part 2, during the wind training.
Althought i consider Tsunade as a weak kage but to be honest only Oonoki and Raikage with his both arms are strong the rest are weak.

I'm really hopeful for more NaruSaku moments, but I'm not freaking out like I was the day 663 came out. I feel weirdly calm even though I absolutely adore all the NS/Sakura moments in 663 (I can read that chapter forever ... ), but I don't think I'll stay that way when the next NaruSaku moment comes out lol.

 

I think the best part about 663 is that it practically guarantees a ton of NaruSaku moments in the coming chapters. You have Sakura who has to keep pumping his heart and constantly giving him CPR (  ) to keep him alive until Minato can help and then after that, you'll have Naruto wake up and Sakura will probably start crying and hug him again (There's no way that's not happening ... I'm serious). There's also the potential of Minato/Gaara saying something, Sakura realizing her feelings, and Naruto knowing she gave him CPR and did absolutely everything to keep him alive.  It's just getting really, really close to NS endgame.

 

There will so much NaruSaku soon ... I'm so excited.

Well, Tsunade being bashed for being a weak Kage - no surprise there. She's bashed in the West for that, too.

I'm not expecting much for next chapter. It'll probably be mostly about Sasuke and his suspicious visitor, with a few pages of Naruto and co. (possibly them arriving at Minato's location at the very end?), and most likely a little Madara in there, too.

I just realized something.

 

With Minato still missing an arm, he's unable to form seals. Doesn't this shoot the theory that he's going to use the reaper death seal out of the window? This means that in order to transfer the nine tails, he'd either have to do it in a way that doesn't require seals (like a simple chakra transfer i guess....), or have someone else do the seals for him, like have Sakura tranfer Kurama herself from Minato to Naruto. Whether or not she'd have to use the reaper death seal to transfer the Kurama would be a good question.

 

What are your guys thoughts??

 

Reminds me of the time when I was confused why Jiraiya didn't just send out a shadow clone to confirm the mystery of Pain from within the frog, but the fact was he was missing an arm and couldn't form the seal to make a shadow clone.

It's funny how common ground can be met between these two groups based on their mutual disappointment of Tsunade. The unfortunate part about it is that their arguments aren't exactly baseless. Her strength does seem lacking compared to her teammates who are both held at a higher standard relative to Tsunade.

I've had a pretty busy week, so I haven't been able to comment until now and I just want to say that i loved this chapter. Sakura was so awesome and professional and even though it wasn't a romantic per se, it was still a very intimate moment. That's the beauty of NS. It's not just about romance. It's a about this deep personal bond between two people who wants to protect each other. 

 

I also really liked Karin's part. The chakra chains is a bit of an asspull, but in my opinon it's not too far fetched considering she's an Uzumaki. 

 

Great chapter. I hope Kishi continues this way.

I will strongly disagree with you, Sakura is not the most popular female character when ti comes to Naruto, i know this because i saw other polls and 2ch.

Second, i hate when people say "in Japan" dude dont say it without pointing out source because srsly, if people starts telling in Japan she's the most or whatever without pointing source i wont consider it.

If Sakura had a really huge popularity she would have a lot of products being sold.

 

Even Rukia is more popular than Sakura in Japan.

So this is my newbie predictions (since my last profile is lost in the abyss..) for the next chapter

 

• Sakura and Gaara arrive at Minato's/Kakashi's/Obito's location
• The mysterious person is introduced
• Naruto has a in between life and death meeting with either Jiraiya or Kushina 
• Team Taka and Orochi arrive at Sasuke's location to find whoever that person is reviving him
• By the middle or end of the chapter Madara arrives to meet Kakashi and company

 

Either all of these will happen or one or two, who knows...
