If Sakura loving Sasuke was enough reason for Naruto to stop loving Sakura then he would've moved on by the end of Part 1. So besides unrequited feelings is there really another reason for Naruto to not love Sakura anymore? I just can't think of any.
Also, if Hinata supporting Naruto was a good enough reason for him to now love her then Sakura would already be head over heals in love with Naruto. If that was Naruto's reasoning then it wouldn't be any different to what Sakura said in her confession.
I was under the believe that Naruto never changes the nature of the bonds he forges. Naruto still sees Sasuke as his best friend and feels a brotherly bond towards him despite his darkness. So by that logic Naruto should see Sakura as his loved one and feel a bond of love towards her despite her not sharing his feelings right now.

I have a feelings that this will no longer be stated by another person, the fact that Sakura doesn't love or will never love Naruto will be a massive blow to the readers with that kind mentality in the next few chapter.
I don't know why but I never felt this confident about something on this Manga before.

Am I saying that naruhina is impossible. Noo.
But that narusaku is still the front runner in my eyes and will be end game. Just gotta look underneath the underneath like kishimoto said in TE beginning. Sorry if there's some crammed issues did this on my iPhone while driving lolz
Good catch there, I almost forgot my Japanese as well, but you brought up a valid point. I read the raw just now and I came to the same conclusion as you. The 'this whole time' refers to the current context. Not 'all the time', at least to my understanding. I might be wrong though. Here's hoping that this chapter doesn't materialize NH, and will serve as a stepping stone for Sakura to make a move...

"I'm sorry I didn't believe. But I'd given up believing in so much, until I met you. From the first day I saw you, you were everything I ever wanted to believe in. You can do this, Diana. I know you can...But I have to go."
"What? What are you saying?"
"It's okay, this is what I came here to do. I can save today, but you... you can save the world."

I hope the Hinata shining moment is over alas I think not. All I want to see is more Gai and Lee.

On the other hand no Author will feel that he is the owner of his own story if he have to write thing the way the fans want, that's is just plain s*upid.
Kishi might get on Idea of how to draw the fans attention but at the end he will do the story the way he pleases, after all he stated that he already had in mind how Naruto will end and also the final pairing but he just need to find how to go about it.
After all it seems that you are really forgetting RTN and the way many myself including who thought for a moment that this would definitely be a movie for NH and SS and while it would not be consider canon it count as Author intent, but in the end it went NS way.
I see the same with the Manga, NH not so much but SS is very popular in Japan and by focusing on Hinata's character while not saying anything about Naruto feelings or SS is a great way to make all NS fans believes that their development will over come this, NH chances are big right now and since Naruto will be out of the way of a redeemed Sasuke SS might have a chance.
He could keep this up until the near end to keep pairing fans reading his story. Lets face it, if Hinata didn't become a threat to NS the it's obvious that no fan will believe in NH while at the same time it might not be clearing the way for a sunken SS ship.
I don't think Kishimoto is selling out. If he changed his mind about pairings, its by his own choice and I doubt influenced by an outside source. With money, he has plenty enough already and making a pairing canon wouldn't decrease whats coming in. Only the anime would benefit, because they are the ones that cater most to the fandom. Openings/Endings, Rock lee spinoff, OVAs usually have romance teases.

I don't want to call him a liar, but I just find that SO hard to believe. Maybe HE doesn't have one, but there has to be one in the house or something...

Sig made by me though. XD

I have to confess, that sting little, wonder what scene that made him think that Naruto accepted Hinata's feelings, which she did not offer in this chapter.

That sounded...awful. The wordage he used.
"The time has come at last for you to learn everything . . .
Fare thee well, Albert, my friend."

"Ahh, good, good! That's a very convincing argument! Oh, but this one is nice too. What to do? ... Ah ha! I got it. Swerve them with Naruto/Ino. Ha ha! Another victory for the master. Just you wait Anno; before long, I will dethrone you as the best troll!"

Even though the conversation between Naruto and Hinata was about the general war, the context of their interaction (Hinata holding Naruto's face, Naruto squeezing her hand and taking it in his) was overly romantic. Its not too hard to see why people are saying the things they are.

This is why I agree with the people saying this chapter is forced and goes against what Naruto stands for. Naruto almost gave up on himself, lost hope and even (this goes for the people who are saying Naruto has started having feelings for Hinata) given up on getting the girl of his dreams. All this just so Hinata COULD HAVE SOME DEVELOPMENT?! or is it because Kishi wants to make Naruhina canon? That is the true question. Not to mention they basically acted like neji's death wasn't as important, and instead made the Naruhina moment the highlight of the chapter. My god, no wonder Naruhina fans are rejoicing, and they have every right too. This moment was a legitimately proper chapter for them to be happy about.
I always thought Naruto's nindo was NEVER GIVING UP. HINATA said it herself, yet Naruto giving up on Sakura is TOTALLY contradicting. It's all up to kishi at this point. I'm not going to deny Naruhina becoming Canon at this point, but I certainly am not giving up on Narusaku.
The worst part is Tsunade was beginning to accept Jiraya he just died too early for anything to happen, Naruto is supposed to surpass the previous generations yet he won't get the girl of his dreams like previous generations he will simply forget her give up on her without even trying (at least Obito wanted to try to confess, Jiraya tried his luck many times) and go with a girl he barely interacted with during the whole manga but who suddenly out of nowhere and without any indication prior to that he will love. It goes against Nauto's whole persona and makes no sense. With all that has happened between her and Sasuke Sakura still can't let go and Naruto has given her infinitely more reasons for her to move on than Hinata has or will ever give him yet it's Naruto who will magically move on and love Hinata, Naruto the most stubborn character who never gives up will forget about his love for Sakura and love Hinata out of the blue without any warning beforehand and a side character with barely any relevance, personality or development will get her goal at the expense of the main character. There's something not right here it makes no sense, it goes against the characters and the theme of this manga but if that's really the case then way to go Kishi. What was the point keeping Naruto's love for Sakura for the majority of the manga if it's to off panel his feelings and make him switch to a nobody he barely knows out of nowhere ? What was the point of Sai's flashblack if Naruto is never going to confess ? what was the point of all these parallels if in the end they hold no value ?
I really hope all of this is just one of Kishi's usual game and he didn't forget what his main character stands for, I really hope this Sakura's panel in the chapter has more relevance and its placement and Sakura's reaction are not one detail that doesn't matter, I really hope it was no mere coincidence and there's more to it than meets the eyes.

I don't see where Naruto squeezes her hand, except his own at the end when he is charging his bijuu chakra, which is a good thing if my observations are correct

I hope that is the only reason they think that, but lets look at Sakura's hug for Naruto, isn't that also romantic tones as well.

It seems like some of you needed to slapped like Naruto to be reminded of your own ways.
We ship because we like NaruSaku, not because it is a betting competition versus NH/SS. (tbh the odds were so never that good for us imo). So many of us have gathered here and across many communities for so long because we loved this couple. Some of you have been dedicated to it for so incredibly long (look at your reg dates) It doesn't really matter what turns out to be canon, we will still always love NaruSaku and that will mean more to us than anything.
That aside, so NH got a good moment. So what. It doesn't mean that a NS moment is never coming. There is nothing definitive to declare anything canon yet. Have some faith, some hope. And some Valium.
It's okay to be on the "losing" ship, but as long as we're on it, we might as well as take this journey to the bitter end. Never throw in the towel. Fight on, NaruSaku!
