i'm excited for this.

Not sure if it's been discussed, I have a lot of catching up to do - But I read a few pages back that Naruto will be captured? So I'm assuming it's up to Sakura, or his father - or all of them, to rescue him? ^^ I remember awhile back ago we discussed about a similar theory happening in the manga , with Naruto being captured for the Kyuubi and Sakura rescuing him.

Guys I'm really excited for this movie.
I mean sure I would love to see Narusaku moments but I really want to see Sakura in action.
I mean for being a heroine she clearly doesn't get enough recognition and I hate it when people say she is pointless to the story.
I want Sakura to be so bad ass in this movie that they will at least respect her character and the bashing will decrease, even if it's just a few people. (:

This magazine is info about Naruto's family and another magazine ( two weeks ago with pink and orange colors in NARUTO word) was info about Naruto,Sakura and Kakashi ^___^

I think we've seen way too little on Kushina's powers. I always wondered about her Kyuubi-powers(cuz she was a full-grown jinchuuriki, she must 've had somewhat control of him), but now she's without them, what can she do besides chains and taijutsu.

Sakura is going to have a major role. So I am not worried about that. I just want to hear about what changes the rookies and Kakashi/Gai went through in the genjutsu world. So much crazy fanfiction can come out of this.

they said that naruto sakura and minato ws the main characters of the movie, now in this new "scan" it's show that naruto, kushina and minato are the main characters and sakura was put aside with sasuke and kakashi.

No, that is not what it says on the page, hmph guess Tokyokit didn't know other Naruto readers can read some Japanese.... What it says with the silly minature toy figures of Naruto, Kushina, and Minato is that these toys will be coming out on June 30th as part of promotion for the movie. It says absolutely nothing about who the main characters of the film. Then in the section below that with toys with images of the former Team 7 as they are now, that's in celebration of the anime's 10 anniversary.

So he's saying it's Kushina and not Sakura who's a main character?

I want Kushina to be part of the main cast but I clearly remember us discussing how in the original promos it mentions that the most important VAs were gonna be the ones that do the voices of Naruto, Sakura, and Minato. The movie synopsis even mentions Sakura being attacked by Tobi along side Naruto, why would that happen if she wasn't gonna be fully involved in the story? I'm pretty sure Sakura is still a main character for the movie.

She is, Tokyokit was just making up something that wasn't on the page. The official page, the advanced tickets, the movie poster that has the cast listing all say Naruto, Sakura, Minato only as main characters. (It's obvious Kushina will be the first support character though, considering her connection to Naruto and Minato)

The synopsis says BOTH Naruto and Sakura are in the genejutsu its already been confirmed.

SMH its says on the POSTERS and on the Naruto movie website Sakura, Naruto and Minato are the main characters. just because they show pictures of Narutos parents it doesn't mean Sakura isn't the main character along with them.

How has Sakura been put aside? So far shes been in all the posters next to Naruto LOL

Also it is confirmed that in the synopsis of the movie it pretty much says that" Naruto and Sakura are caught in the mask man's genjutsu". Why would they chance the script when the movie is almost a month away? Let's have faith in Kishi there is a reason why he chose to be involved in this movie instead of Hinata fan boys Pierot.

Nothing has changed, Tokyokit was saying stuff that wasn't written on the page.

I think a much more valid rumor of might be in the movie came from the female Japanese fan who went to the Memory of Chakra show that had the voice actors for Sakura, Naruto, Rock Lee and Neiji making teasing hints about narusaku moments in "Road to Ninja" (which according to that female fan, apparently caused a very vocal happy response by a group of male narusaku shippers in the audience ) From what it sounds like no, the main storyline won't be centered around narusaku (and I wouldn't expect it to be), but yes, there will be some narusaku. (I'm taking this, as everything not official, with a grain of salt, but at least that rumor could actually fit within what we know from the official sources.)

And yeah, if you look at the clip with Sakura in it from the trailer it looks to be directly connected to the scene where Tobi Madara is gripping the top of a scared Naruto's head. With what we know and who is officially listed as the main characters it's most likely we'll see Minato having a lot of interaction with Sakura and Naruto. Kushina will have the strongest support role.


I'm still hoping my speculation is right and Naruto will train with his mom in how to use the Uzumaki clan skills, while Sakura will work alongside Minato- they have a similar thinking style and Sakura's fighting style has some resemblance too. I'd love to see Sakura and Minato brainstorming on how to break the genjutsu, and Minato training Sakura on how to use her intelligence and tactical thinking to an even greater advantage. Heh, and also when he sees her personality similarities to Kushina, smile and think something along this line: "Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Kushina will be happy Naruto fell for a woman like herself. I'm glad too, and happy she's a bit like me as well."

If Kushina teaches Naruto some Uzumaki Clan Jutsus (Fuuinjutsu, hopefully) and Kishi doesn't replicate it in the manga I will be sorely pissed. It's about time we got something else than the Rasengan.

Those chakra chains that Kushina used (via Naruto to restrain Kuruma in manga canon) might be cool to see Naruto use, and would be a change from Rasengan. They would be useful as well, something Naruto could use if he just wanted to restrain a dangerous person- like in the eventual big fight with Sasuke....

I thought Kushina had some sort of special chakra that allowed her to use those chains.I don't believe Naruto can learn them.IMO it's the same as Sakura learning Ino's mind transfer jutsu thing.

No, nothing was ever said that it was only limited to Kushina. Your comparison doesn't fit at all, Kushina is Naruto's mother, and Minato's gamble was exactly that- a hope that Naruto had inherited his mother's ability to control the kyuubi. Mito was also noted as being able to do so, so it is a trait that pops up amongst the Uzumaki clan.

Yesterday I received a question that asked whether one of the next movie's themes wil be 'parental love'... and I can confirm that it's true! Seems like we'll be able to see a warm love between parents and child. By the way, I've found this scene!

I read somewhere in Kishi's last interview, that after Naruto little chat with Kushina he had a new view on life. The first change we see, was when he stated that if he fight with Sasuke they would both die, but after his chat with Kushina he says that he would be the orange Hokage and he told Gaara that he is not planning to die before he becomes Hokage.

I don't know I think the reason for the move is to give Naruto that little family touch he never have, what the moonlight plan would look like and to expand his parents background, but we also get a synopsis that Sakura will have a role in the movie and she was also singled out from the rest of the rookies so I could also be wrong about them trying to make Kushina more similar like to Hinata.

In my opinion, a good story telling will keep the character's consistency throughout the show. Hinata and Kushina has quite opposite personalities. Kushina and Sakura has similar personalities - they are strong in their own rights, but gentle towards their precious people. (this has been pointed out several time from 3rd Party point of view, e.g. Sai, Yamato).

Imagine a loud and expressive Kushina suddenly becomes stuttering and shy in front of Minato. A bit out of the context isnt it?

Btw, Naruto always said he is not planning to die before he becomes Hokage since part I, if I'm not mistaken. So, the new view on life does not necessarily contradict the existing ones.

We all know that NH is popular because of the Anime not the Manga and With NaruSaku the made a scene where Sakura admitted after her confession to Naruto why she loves Sasuke, when something like that never happen in the Manga.

Remember that Studio Pierrot also included a filler scene during Kushina's childhood flashback in which she ran and fought a genin in a Sakura forest and her hair was also pulled in a similar fashion as Sakura's was during the forest of death. They didn't make it a Sakura forest just as a coincidence, they were trying to associate Kushina's character to Sakura. Otherwise they could have easily made it a normal leaf forest, but chose not to.

The people of Studio Pierrot are Hinata fans not NaruHina fans, that's the big difference.

Good point I guess if Kishi decide to drop Hinata's crush for Naruto, the Studio animator may be the 1st ones to cellebrite.
