She didn't confess, she asked to accompany him. After which he abandoned her (again
), but he pokes her forehead. Just like in chapter 3 when Naruto notes that the reason he loves Sakura is bc of their search for Acknowledgement. Than Sasuke runs off on his own.
I meant her confession in 693 and then the face she makes while asking to accompany Sasuke.How can Naruto look at that face and actually build up confidence to tell her his feelings?

I just hope everyone is aware that this "closure" you guys are looking for is not really going to make you feel better. I guess some will find comfort, but I have a funny feeling some are going to be back in her upset and mad. Not that I blame you, I am just saying expect it. This is why I am not watching it.
This shouldn't have happened. Not like this.
Of course, rage will probably take me over in the moment when I see Sakura rejecting Naruto, but this needs to be done. Kishi has already created this NaruHina and SasuSaku mess. If he wants to save the quality of the manga somhow (which has obviously gone down hill thanks to these last two chapters), I expect him to give us this closure scene. Seeing Sakura and Naruto not coming on terms with their feelings means that he as a writer is avoiding to resolve the story's issues. This is not about my personal OTP feelings anymore, but about my overall view of the quality of the manga. I am willing to undergo another painful experience mixed with utter rage for Sakura if Naruto finally gets a proper answer from Sakura.

On a side note did anyone notice Sakura grows her hair in 699 and we all know the reason why.Kishi destroyed her at the end literally

Because it will justify the Sai Panel,that girlfriend comment,Naruto being lovey dovey around Sakura,acting jealous when Sasuke rescues Sakura etc.Its better than pretending as if the last 697 panels of Naruto loving Sakura dont exist because the writer cant write a closure for a couple worth giving a kitten because he is scared of addressing the elephant in the room
It really won't, dude. No matter what you get, nothing will justify any of it. Nothing will justify Naruto having to give up his dreams for others, but no one will give up of their dreams for him. Nothing will justify Sakura holding onto feelings for a guy who attempted to kill her. Nothing will justify Sasuke all of a sudden having feelings for Sakura when the whole time he was nothing more than an asexual jerk.
There is no justification for any of it and if there was, you wouldn't need to make a movie to justify it. That was the problem. If NS was canon, then you wouldn't need a movie to explain it. The proof is already there. To make SS and NH you have to waste time, money, and energy to make a movie just to explain all the things that were done within two chapters.
It's always funny....Apparently Naruto changing his mind about who he loves for a girl he never had feelings for for years and years and years is supposedly "totally realistic," but talk about Sakura changing her heart for Naruto despite all the obvious evidence and great development is unrealistic.
Everytime I play it in my head; every argument, every moment, every scene....the more I think about it the less sense it makes and the less the arguments mean anything.
There is no closure...just fan wanking for the sake of a cheap cop out.

There is something I learned about things in life.
There is no way to be completely selfless AND be truly happy with it. You have to be selfish to understand your own happiness and the people who truly care about you should know this. Why should Naruto be with Hinata anyway? To fulfill his dreams or hers? Seems to me, that this is all just to make Hinata happy, not Naruto. Which would explain why he is miserable in the future.
I used to be like that. Always selfless...always let everyone have everything before me only to be left with leftovers...you start to realize that it doesn't make you happy. That being that ultimate selfless person...leaves you with nothing because apparently no one else will think about your needs or what you want. Sometimes you have to think about your own wants and needs.
It does sound horrible, but life is about balance. Imbalance creates instability.

lol. it seems to be . so now that kishi said he planned the end already since time ago . when do u think he killed NS in 469 .693 . in the (hinata) movie or off panel ? i still cant believe this ending
693 after that its like NS was never in the manga like it never existed they don't even interacted in the end its all convenient BS just so this atrocious ASSPULL can work and its sickening me how an author can just erase all of this in just 2 freaking chapters makes no sens for what ? Why would you focus on this relationship so much so in the end to make it like it didn't even existed Why ? Its ludacris and its a literal assassination of your story , the characters and the relationships that you have been building up and foreshadow . Literary makes no sens to do this especially to your MC I've never in my life have seen a writing such as ridiculous and crazy as this it goes against everything literature is about freaking insanity that's what this is .

You can bring over your point w/out overreacting, ok? I understand you're frustrated and loved the relationship b/w Naruto and Sakura to death- I was one of the people who actually listened through your TWO hours podcast b/c it was so interesting.
No need to restate what I already know, I don't have a short-term memory. I am well aware of that Kishi did a huge mistake in not making NaruSaku cannon despite the development and the hints he's been teasing us with. Since NaruSaku didn't happen, I can only hope for the next logical thing to happen.
And haven't I already stated that I wouldn't be happy if I get to see the rejection scene? But I and many others can deal with it b/c it is JUST a fictional story. You don't want to see the movie, fine, then don't. But I and some other shippers just simply want to see some form of closure. I've been waiting for the two of them to be honest with their feelings since Sakura's confession in 469. I don't care that this possible closure will be in the movie. And it's true that Naruto's and Sakura's character development have been destroyed. You call Naruto a jackass and Sakura a b*tch, but he we are and this is what we get of the two of them. But even so, I want to see the ending b/c this closure, confession or whatever the interaction b/w Naruto and Sakura turns out to be, is the closest thing some of us can wish for.
You've given up after 698, while I still hope that Kishi can fix one goddamn thing about NaruSaku, and that is the closure.

Overreacting? No, you have not seen me overreact. lol If you think this is overreacting, I hate for you see me when I actually do. That's when things really get interesting. Those of you who know me personally know exactly what I am talking about.
What I will say is is that I am tired of things though. I am tired of people telling me such things as "you need to respect the author's decision" and stuff like that. How can I respect the author when the author can't even respect his reader? Even for a story with twists and turns, those twist and turns have to be logical. Yeah, you can do whatever you want, but that doesn't mean it is a good idea.
I know, because I took writing classes in college and the biggest thing you have to learn is to not disrespect the reader. Kishimoto disrespected the reader is so many ways that i would need a good week to categorize. I was willing to overlook so much for the sake of the ending thinking "hey, maybe it will all work out," but when the ending even insults you...then how can you forgive anything else? I gave him respect...maybe even more than some...and he still spit in my face. That's what hurts the most.
People say that the story cannot be change. It can be change because it is fictional story. The only question is. Will he change it? It wouldn't be that hard to change it. Just time...and dedication.
And hey, since Naruto is a big hit and if it was all about money...you probably make more money from it. So there is no reason why a rewrite can not occur.

-Just a small scene of Kakashi retiring
-Sakura a house wife
-Sakura a fan girl as if she never grew for the previous chapters
-Cycle of hatred? What is that?
-Uniting the five nations? Well Choji ended up with Karui
-Naruto neglecting his son
-Naruto drinking whiskey and eating cup ramen during work (does he ever go home?)
-Naruto looking miserable
WHY? Because Hinata deserved attention?
If anyone had to give up on their feelings it was Hinata.
-She was genuinely happy when she saw Sakura hug Naruto
-She didn't mind Minato calling Sakura, Naruto's gf
Whereas in Naruto's case
-He was sad seeing Sakura hug Sasuke
-He looked pained when he made POL
-He looked sad when he saw Sakura cry over Sasuke's joining in Akatsuki
So why is Naruto the one who has to give up on all this!? He was the one who fought for it! While Hinata only hid behind the bushes until the most opportune moment came for her to present herself.
Naruto truly deserved everything he wanted more than anyone else...and I am sad for him. I am sad that no one would give it to him.

This is it, exactly what I think and why I'm so frustrated, it's like Naruto's feelings got cast aside for Hinata's feelings. Sakura got regressed to her pathetic fan girl state just like before she received all her development. This resulted in this garbage ending, when instead it should of been more like what ramenanmitsu stated. It's just so frustrating that this great story had to end like this.I so agree. Someone will need to tell us what is written there but apparently its talking about Naruto's love for Sakura in the movie and change in relationship with Hinata and that Sasuke and Sakura's relationship would also be explored in the movie.It looks like there may be a rejection scene in the movie guys.Fck it

Well, I don't really want to know how you reacted when you first read those last two chapters 
But there's no need to use this kind of tone when you're responding to me b/c I already know how enraged you are.
Whether or not he will write an alternative ending... I don't know. What I am hoping for is, a sincere apology or at least acknowledgement of the way he treated NaruSaku in the manga and his fans someday in future. Yes, I am hoping for a J.K.Rowling miracle, and nothing more. That's how low my expectations are.
