FF.Net needs quality stories in general. The number of quality stories has extremely decreased since the 'golden times' between 2008 and 2011. Urgh, i'm still waiting for Paradox Jast, MayWren and Case13 to come back...

That should be a great way to collect a lot of excellent NS stories, new and old.

There are, but how long?  Again the new system of filter allow to enter ss and nh fanfics  in NS territory, there are more and more until they erase the NS old stories. Example it would not much I will not read Digifruit old fanfics because they are not going to be there anymore. They have to do something.

I'm not exclusively talking about NS stories. I meant Naruto stories in general.

Read Case13's 'The Art of the Deal' and 'Crimson Edge', HitokiriOTD's 'Tempered in Water', Paradox Jast's 'Whirlpool Country', May Wren's 'Naruto: Myoushuu no Fuuin', Ravyn's 'Shade of the Leaf' or Obsidian Dreamer's 'The mouse of Konoha' and 'Win some, lose some' and DigiFruit's works.

 

You'll know what quality actually means and just how sh*tty Kishimoto has become if his writing can't inspire similar talented people to write Fanfics of his franchise anymore. Only a very few of them (like Desaix or Kodachi Claws) are still there and their update speed is very slow (ya' know, real life and stuff).

I'm honestly unsure what you're meaning. I have no problems in finding NS stories, the new filter system is actually an improvement over the last iteration.

'Tis a very good idea. It would certainly make searching for quality NaruSaku fics much easier if they were localised in one specific location, for both new and returning readers.

Okay so the doujin i foun thiss morning was quite interesting it's basically the alternate route the one we were all expecting (80% of it), and I've decided to share it with you guys. Yes it might, but still atleast give it a look the artist is sammy237, you find her on deviantArt.  I will give you a heads up it's not completely done, but she posts a new page out every night 8:00 PM where I live so i can keep you guys updated on every new page that comes out from her. She's no LadyGT but I think her artwork is good in my book.  So far her alternate ending has 17 pages, but anyway enjoy. Also read the panels from left and right it makes much more sense otherwise you'll be left confused.

I see Sammy did more good, page twelve that is NS about it. something that nh lacked in the past and that is why nh is not a good pairing.  Sasuke and Hinata knowing each other I liked that.

I don't think they actively delete stories unless they are offensive in some way, and only then in the extreme. The community would be a nice place to gather these stories.

Oh, well the only ones I really search for are the NS stories. If you're looking for more quality fics, you might try browsing through an author's favorites? Usually great authors have great favorites as well lol

It's not finished yet Sammy usually posts a new page every night the last page you read is the page she just posted right now. I'll keep you and the others updated every night once she lets it come out.

 

That really threw me off too cause I was expecting Karin to show up, but I guess Sammy's a SasuHina shipper so I could see that, but the moment though was weird to say the least.

I posted the one shot I entered into the 10th Anniversary Contest about 3 hours ago on ff.net, and I've already gotten a review saying that NaruSaku is pathetic, that I'm a loser, and that I should go F' myself.

I don't know, I tend to think it goes in waves proportionate to the ebb and flow of the story. For a while there, when it looked like NS was endgame, the Naruto stories were mostly about NH. Not a lot of new NS stories. And the SS stories dropped off completely. But now there's a lot of NS stories again. So much so, in fact, I think they are slipping through the cracks in the recent wave of Naruto fics. The quality may be on a spectrum, but at least there's a flush of new writing going on. It had severely dropped off for a while.

It would be great if we could restart the H&E community on ff.net. And we have the Fic Listing thread here, which is very helpful for picking stories that are worth reading. 

 

Honestly, I think the big problem now is that there aren't enough people reading and reviewing the fics, even though there's a sea of new NS fics out there. Not necessarily on ff.net, I mean even here the Fic Listing thread isn't updated with suggestions too often, aside from posts that NS writers on this community make themselves. That what I meant that I think the NS stories are slipping through the cracks. They're moving too quickly off the general Naruto setting (off ff.net) to get as much attention as they deserve.
