I got a confession; I wish Hinata had not been in the series. Unless she was in her more developed look from Part 1, she wasn't so good, given Shippuden ruined her and then she gets rewarded for no reason? =/ No, that's not how it works, and why I hate how the ending ruined the series and continues to ruin it.
I was absolutely fine with Hinata from Part 1, but the one I got to see in Part 2 and in The Last disgusts me.

put hinata in the hands of mike and bryan and i guarantee you she wouldn't be some incompetent girl worrying about love 24/7. hell, put any female character from the naruto series in their hands and you'll get the same results. but sadly, the characters are controlled by some sexist moron who's out of touch with reality.

Yeah I've heard about this before and I got to say SP is just one part of this huge problem in the anime industry. I don't see this changing anywhere in the near future either.

Because SP is full of otakus that find women like Hinata more appealing. Plus they knew Hinata was far more popular outside of Japan than Sakura, so they figured selling out to the west would make up for the declining popularity of Naruto in Japan. I got to say their plan wasn't very well thought out beyond that though.

That's because it is true. I've been anti-Hinata from the moment I learned about the series. It's kinda ironic, the two character I hated most Hinata and Sasuke ended up being the two characters who ruined the entire story.
