That movie chapter has me looking very curiously towards RtN and its impact on the overarching plot. Could there be something more to the setup and relationships in that content that we should know about?

I was being sarcastic. I mean, when Ino's sketches were released along Kiba's and...I don't remember who more,more sketches of Naruto and Sakura were released too. But we didn't know until 3 days after it. It seems that some people like to hide information 

Ramen-kun said that when he read the Databook (Naruto's part) it had a lot of emphasis in the "Don't give up" thing and that it was a bit suspicious that RTN was released with the Databook, because it can be a hint for our IT theory.

It's a possibility. Sure 700 is out but after all the evidence, parallels and basic storytelling logic it just doesn't make sense

Lol I don't know. Don't count on me too much. It's just that I thought I indirectly read a message in there. Like, no matter what kind of information the SJ will be giving you, if you don't give up and believe in Naruto, you'll see that you'll get the ending that's supposed to be Naruto. If you know what I mean.....

If you read the data book, you'll probably feel the same way. That ending was everything against the databook.

it wasn't a lie. I vividly recall the announcement of a work personally drawn by Kishi that would somehow tie into the events of RtN. The only question is when it will be released, I believe. But I still lack the willingness and heart to seek out anything relating to Naruto or the people with the information from other forums/websites.

Realistically? No. Chatte and Ramen's theories are very well thought out and they don't deviate too far from the parameters of the manga universe. However, the sense of finality with this ending has rendered nearly all of my hopes for a potential upset invalid. Announcements, music listings, and information detailing the events from the movie do not offer much or any room for doubt in how this movie will end. Kishi has already completed the series. The upcoming mini-series doesn't even involve him as the writer iirc. If the circumstances were different, there may actually be a light at the end of the tunnel, but as of now they're just last ditch efforts to salvage the plot, in my opinion.

Guys, let's not make this painful. SS and NH are canon, as kitten as that is. It sucks, but this state of denial is not helping anyone. Honestly, it feels like to me, Kishi wanted to end his series a long time ago, but popularity wouldn't let him. Let's just deal with it and pirate the movie so we can see how the train wreck that is NaruDoormat happened.

I know. I used words that indicated it wasn't a big deal, just "the feeling that got from it".

Then we have perhaps the most controversial pairing: Sakura ended up with Sasuke, ruining the dreams of many Naruto-Sakura shippers. Of all the pairings, this does seem the strangest. Especially because the brief glimpse we get of Sasuke implies he's still walking the Earth and not too interested in being a father while Sakura gets stuck being a house wife. Not to mention how Sakura apparently still slept with the guy after all the grief he put her through. It just doesn't seem quite the happy ending that Sakura's fans deserved
