So I was in youtube seeing a Naruto review (I bet you know where this is going) and one of the comments goes like this:

It seems that with each passing chapter some people on the other fanbases get more desperate, delusional...and in certain cases I've seen...drama queens.

Why would Naruto joke about the confession when he said (during the confession) "This joke's not funny." He sure didn't seem to think such a thing should be joked about, so why would he turn around and do just that?
That's what I thought, but I'm trying to figure out why the other fans think like that.
The way I figure they must think Naruto is joking because he can't use Sakura's confession to seriously support his claim of Sakura being something like his girlfriend. And the reason he can't use the confession is because they believe Sakura completely lied about everything.
I suppose the counterargument would be that Naruto believes Sakura is somewhat honest with her love for him.
Does this mean Naruto accepts that Sakura does love him? That's the part that I wish to be sure of.

Perfect gif for the situation.
Well, I suppose that whether Naruto was meant that Sakura was his girlfriend or not it simply confirms that Naruto himself has aspirations of being Sakura's boyfriend. Otherwise he would've never made that comment.

So what does everyone think the worst case of the NH fans reacting to when NS becomes canon?

Know what the best part about 649 is?
Sakura is crying in happiness, not over Sasuke, not for Shikamaru (though she is glad he managed to save Shikamaru), she is happy because he was able to use his will to save Shikamaru, though Sakura did help too. But hey just think about this, Sakura was crying in joy that Naruto saved a friend like Shikamaru, this was someone who Sakura doesn't love but imagine her reaction to Naruto next time when something directly positive involving them occurs.
As I see it she healed the physical wound/started the event, Naruto supplied the chakra to refill what Shikamaru lost to the tree so he would become stable, Tsunade came to get him back on his feet. Thats what I see that basically happened.

Oh , yeah Naruto is joking with his/her feelings, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure .. Naruto loves her until otherwise noted and will never joke about her feelings no matter how much they deny it.
Why would Naruto joke about her feelings when he aims to protect them?
Why would he joke about his feelings or anyone else in the matter?
Sometimes when i read something of those lines it makes me wanna barf..

If you're approaching the confession with the presupposition that Sakura lied about her feelings, then I guess you'll approach Naruto's words with the mindset that he believes she was lying too and thus not serious, even though his own words to Sakura completely disprove any such notion. It never ceases to amaze me how the human mind can so completely deceive itself so that one can validate their own clouded version of the truth.
The truth is there in black and white, but some people don't want to take off the shipping goggles long enough to analyze and question "Is this right, or is there something in my interpretation that doesn't coincide with this character's own words and actions?"

Say do you think Shikamaru will thank her at some point?

Holy kittens why are people overlooking this so much. Talk about denial and desperate. It was clear naruto agreed to Sakura being his girlfriend "more or less", and confirmed kushina/Sakura parallel. DOUBLE WAMMMY
That's why I'm just itching to say the pairing war is over. But I don;t want to jinx myself by doing that lol

I kittening love NS. Sorry for being so short and simple, but I don't know, that's how I feel.
You couldn't hold it back anymore. Lol.

Which words are you referring to? Is it what Naruto said in 631?
So the way you explain it is that what Naruto said in 631 is the actual confirmation that Sakura was honest with her feelings. Is that right?

Didn't she ask ''If you don't like me just say so!''? Maybe that was the answer ?

Sorry, I suppose I wasn't clear. I meant his words during the confession, the "This joke's not funny," as meaning for him to say that to Sakura and the turn around and joke about it himself.
And yes, since Naruto was apparently referencing Sakura's confession to Minato, it leads me to believe that Naruto believes there was at least some truth in it.

They say when sasuke comes back, sakura will be a fangirl again but when he came back she isnt a fangirl and NH and SS fans strongly disagree with this.
Then how come she worries about naruto in the war?
I honestly don't know how much the SS ship can take anymore before exploding. It has already been sunk to the bottom of the bottom of the ocean, yet fans still find the guts to claim Sakura will go back to fangirling Sasuke as soon as he shows up on the battlefield. After all, to stay with Sasuke she only has to dismiss very small things such as murder.
The only string of hope that kept a SS relationship barely alive were Sakura's one-sided feelings for Sasuke at the end of part 1, while Sasuke on the other hand has never shown any kind of interest of any kind in anyone.
But ok, let's play along for a while. When Sasuke comes back, Sakura will first and foremost show her concern for him once again and make it very clear to every reader how she loves him. Therefore it is expected to see Sakura thinking about Sasuke more than anyone else, being concerned about his main objectives, demonstrating then she wants to be with him. Not only that, but Sasuke will also realize that deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep inside his heart he had feelings for Sakura all along, and will start to treat her differently from the way he did during all part 1.
Except.... you guessed it right. He has already been there for 19 chapters. And still, we haven't seen anything, I repeat, anything that could even be slightly considered as a SS moment or evidence. Not a single thought about Sasuke's well being, his feelings, his goals, his happiness, were shown in Sakura's mind. Absolutely nothing. The only thing shown was her reaction to Sai's question: "How do you really feel about Sasuke?"
Add that to the fact Sasuke tried to kill her three times, I really am astonished at how she was able to perform a smile while thinking of someone like that. I wound't be able to do it myself.
She has grown up to be a person capable of recognizing her own mistakes and give her best to fix them. Capable of seeing who really deserves to be happy, whose dreams are really worth of fighting for. Capable of recognizing herself as not worthy of being loved by such person, and at the same time fight and protect those dreams even if it comes to the cost of her own life. The one thing she is not capable yet is to accept she has actually fallen in love with the last person in the world she would've ever expected.
Both sides of the SS rope have fallen. I'm not bashing or trying to disrespect anyone's opinion, I'm just stating a undenyable fact. Whether some poeple like it or not, SS is over. Time to move on and...
