nope, karin's name is written in kanji, as are juugo and suigetsu's.

anyway, there's the new kaguya back there. and, god the kids' hair just really isn't suited for headbands. or maybe it's the headbands themselves. either way it looks terrible.

The kids look bland.

Naruto and Sasuke still look depressing.

I can't even deal with that hideous thing in the background.

And so far Orochimaru looks like the youngest adult in this spin off.

This series is so backwards it would hurt if I was not emotionally distanced from it.

And looking at these panels I cannot help but wonder how much these stories make no sense right now

Not only Oro, a guy who experimented on children, etc for his own gain is still alive and apparently well but he was also amazingly whitewashed for no apparent reason other than kishi saying "screw it"

Suigetsu, a guy whose goal was to reconstruct the seven mist swordsman...is now someone who is still chaperoning Oro and is relegated to do DNA exams for bratty little girls...
