You don't have to be a shipper to find this whole ending dreadful, unoriginal, inexplicable and exceptionally lame.
This epilogue makes it seem like this manga was some cheap soap opera where the main focus was who is gonna end up with whom 
'Naruto' was originally a story about a kid who had a terrible childhood and his unwavering dream of wanting to be acknowledged by everyone in his village.
Naruto has made his dream come true but majority of the Naruto fans cannot enjoy that because of this most awkward of endings. This is what truly disappoints me.

Kishi made one of the best looking males in Naruto look.... not good looking to not be offenseive. COME ON! LOOK AT GAARA! HE WAS SUCH A CUTE KID! And The Last ruin him as well, and now the "spoilers" made Gaara look like.... omg I don't even want to think about it anymore
Dude, he could have made ALL of them look handsome. If the epilogue is indeed years into the future, he could have given Naruto longer hair. Not that horrific short-do. Why the hell does Gaara look like Erwin from SnK. Why does Shikamaru have that ugly goatee.
AND THE CHILDREN. MY GOODNESS. IF YOU'RE GOING TO PAIR OFF RANDOM COUPLES, AT LEAST GIVE THEM BETTER LOOKING CHILDREN.
