Aaaannd fairy tail get cheated again. What pains me the most is that, in the end they are going to win with an friendship power up just as usual, unless this tournament get's interrupted ala- dragon ball Z.

I think Jellal is out to smack a b*tch. Also, Natsu wanting to run "check" on Lucy in the shower was lulz worthy. Is it just me or has he gotten more of a libido overall since Tenrou Island?

Yeah for some reason being asleep for seven years has made Natsu into a pervert, I'm sure before that both Natsu and Gray hardly noticed the opposite sex, they even tried to spy on the girls in the spa during their training didn't they? Before that they hardly reacted to Lucy walking out of the bath with just a towel on. Then again I remember it was similar in Rave Master, the main charactor went from not noticing girls one day and then over night that suddenly changing.

Lol, that's almost OOC, if you read the special chapter were Lucy goes to the beach to make a photo shooting, Natsu completely ignore her when she makes some sexy poses, while Natsu give more atetion to other trivial things.

Yeah, I was kinda ticked at that, but it was still funny nonetheless. I'd also put this fight as the second best fight in the series after Luxus vs Natsu+Gajeel purely because of Mistgun's magic and the back and forth counters.

I was really glad that Jellal really did copy Mistgun's magic. I've always liked his magic. In fact, it's probably my favourite magic type in the series, so seeing it again was awesome. We really saw so little of his magic, so it was nice to see more of it.

Not on manga topic quite, but I just came from Momocon and there's a lot of Fairy Tail goodies in the dealer's rooms. I picked up Lyra's key, and apparently you can get the entire set of both gold and silver keys. Plue's key is the plainest of them.

Also, a Lucy cosplayer won musical chairs at Hatcore Boot Camp. I'm really tempted to write a fanfic about that, especially considering that when it was down to her and three guys, one of them pulled a Gray and stripped off his shirt, and the other two followed suit. She had a totally Lucy expression on her face that was "Like HELL I am taking off my shirt and stripping down to my bra..."

I will admit, this cerberus druken guy is pretty badass, I'll give him that, but the rest of the chapter just beign Natsu giving a lame speech about friendship power felt like a big waste of time, we already know about it Mashima, stop shoving it on our faces and keep the actual plot going. I personally really hate when a manga stops the story just to give an moral lesson that nobody really cares, this nakama thing is turning out to be ultra irritating.

Then you're going to get irritated for the rest of the manga because Mashima will keep on repeating it especially when Natsu is in a tight spot. I can assure you every battle, Nakama Power will be mentioned because that's what the manga is about. When you're in a difficult situation what will help you is not training, not hard work, but NAKAMA POWER!!!

So... anyone up for discussing FT's first movie?? in case you guys didn't know, Mashima is also going to be writing it. And it just so happens that Kishi is also writing the new Naruto movie.

Proof: Mashima writes FT movie's plot.

So, it's definitely interesting to see FT vs Naruto not only in manga but also on the big screen too.

That NaLu poster will definitely attract a lot of viewers. But I doubt it will win against Naruto. I believe Naruto has a bigger fanbase given that it has a more serious story.

Just a random prediction I have. It seems the the fight match for Day 2 is building up to be Erza vs Bacchus, but I actually believe that it will be Elfman vs Bacchus. It would be one heck of a plot twist. Although I don't want Elfman to win, just to tie against him.

Remember how the King wanted Bacchus to fight the one that transforms. That sounds more like Elfman.

Actually, I wouldn't count on that just yet. FT is quickly gaining popularity in the past few years so I wouldn't be surprised if Mashima manages to out sell Kishi in the theaters. Either way, it'll be interesting for sure. If FT manages to almost outsell Naruto at the very least, it just shows that Mashima has officially earned in his place as one of the most respected mangakas and fame that equals the Big 3. (in fact, FT will be one of the "Big 3" when Naruto ends)

I don't think the serious nature of the story is the reason for the bigger fanbase the seven odd years headstart probably has something to do with it also. The thing about the Fairy Tail movie is that it's the first one, so completely rest and I beleive Mashima is working ont the script as well so a large percentage of the fanbase will be keen to see how good the movie is. Where with Naruto until last weeks Jump where they confirmed Kishimoto was working on the script it was under the radar and the last few movies have not been all that great so it could hurt themovie revenue.

It's all down to how well it's promoted if they drive the fact Kishimoto worked on the story then it will drive sales, I know I was hyped about One Piece 10 movie because it was a story written by Oda. The fact Kushina was on the cover of the latest poster peaks my interest more than anything else for Naruto. But the Fairy Tail poster is just as interesting why is Lucy crying?

But the release date is probably far enough apart and the fanbase varied enough that both studio's will be happy with the revenue generated, and it won't hurt the other movies sales.
