everyone gets their name in a hat and 500 or so are drawn and they are the politicians for ONE YEAR, no one can be selected twice so once you have had your turn you have to get a REAL JOB
really wanting to be a politician should automatically disqualify you
I think I kinda like that joke.

In February 27th 2010, President change signed one year extension of the Patriot Act of 2001, in which Congress change authorized. That's my government <3

Obama is....not a good president in my opinion. He says a lot of things and people think he is a "good guy," but I am more of a "Speak softly and carry a big stick" kind of guy. There is more to being a president than just standing in front of a camera and talking fancy words.
Bush was okay, not the best, but not really the worst either. Jimmy Carter still holds that title.
Our government is being very stupid about things and being greedy about it. They tell us that we should go green, yet buy themselves all brand new private jets and stuff. Yeah thanks.
This oil spill for example. Obama won't let anyone who isn't unionized help clean up. So the cleaning process is slow. Why not just clean the mess up? You mean we can go to space and land on he moon, but we can't fix a broken pipe underwater? We can make ipads, but we can;t make an alternative fuel source? Anyone else see this problem? You know what they say it is all about money.
How about instead of pointing the blame, fix the damn problem and point the blame later? No, we have to blame someone now before ANYTHING can be done. Obama has all these "plans" that fix things in the short run, but in the long wrong just makes things worse.
Can I ask, when does it get ridiculous? I hear Obama wants to have a cut off switch to the internet. What? So if we say anything bad about him he can shut us off? I heard Obama once called the Constitution a "hindrance" to his campaign.
So to everyone, if you want to let Obama or the government take away your rights later down the road, then fine bend over and take it. I rather fight for America and for the freedom we have.

BTW, you guys know how Bill was almost impeached because of his cheating? Well, apparently if JFK were president today he would be impeached. Apparently, he did a whole lot more stuff like that than Bill did.

Clinton wasn't almost impeached. He WAS impeached. He wasn't convicted in the Senate and I don't think there was every a chance he would be. It wasn't the cheating per se, it was his lying about it under oath (perjury and obstruction of justice) (which I believe he's been disbarred for). Was it a partisan witch hunt. Absolutely, but impeachment has been rooted in politics far more than was probably intended. The closest a person ever came was Andrew Johnson (Lincoln's successor and perennial bottom feeder in presidential rankings regardless of who you ask) and the radical republicans deliberate set him up (needless to say, he took the bait). They hated him for obstructing a lot of reconstruction era legislation.
I don't know that he was worse than say, James Buchanan or Andrew Johnson.

Okay just for the record John Tyler, Millard Filmore, Franklin Pierce, Benjamin Harrison, James Buchanan, and Warren G. Harding were the Worst Presidents in American History.
Two presidents were impeached, Clinton and Andrew Johnson, Johnson only eluded being thrown out of office by one vote, and Clinton, well it was just ridiculous.

Andrew Johnson belongs on that list. Grant's usually on that list too for his inability to control his corruption ridden administration. Harding had the same problem.

Bill was impeached because of lying under oath. He said the words "I did not have any sexual relations with that woman." to which he did, so he lied under oath.
In other words, if you were to be impeached by cheating you will have to impeach almost every single president in history.

At some point, some people thought this was a good idea. Funny how as soon as they were criticized they were ready to admit, "My bad, folks, it should have never happened in the first place. We still believe it's true, but since it makes us look bad we'll take it down."

Cuz our nation loves the tv, and we love it more when there are scandals going around, and we love it way more when those scandals reach ridiculous proportions. We already know how the people reacted because he wasn't wearing a flag pin...
