hopefully us real fans are rewarded someday. There are a good number of bandwagon Saints fans that won't care for them once they fall off. But congrats to team and the real hardcore Saints fans.

Mik3, Im thinking of apologizing to a Mall Santa this year, heck i'll put it up on youtube. maybe that'll work

That and the fact that they are a hated NFC South rival is why I was rooting for the Colts.

I hear ya, I couldn't stand it when the Giants won. Look at it this way, Tampa and New Orleans had a terrible football legacy, and they finally get theirs. So The Panthers and Falcons gotta get one eventually....I guess.

We already made our peace with him, don't piss him off again. Heck, he was at the Phillies Parade.

Santa's the one with the grudge.

Fun Fact: Madden picked the Saints to win. It's been spot on with it's recent Super Bowl Picks. All Hail Madden

Well, we've only been around 15 seasons. On the other hand, in that short period we managed to hold one record of ineptitude that the Lions took away last year: Longest single season losing streak of 15 games, during the George Seifert years. Won first game, lost the next 15.

Then there is the Rae Carruth era. Vick may have gotten more publicity, but what Carruth did was worse. He's still in the pen for what he dud.

As as inconsistent as he's been, that God for John Fox.

The Falcons do have a legacy: mediocrity.

Good for the Saints. Now the Cardinals need to troll their way back with Leinart.

Now that the Super Bowl is over, we can put an end to this season. Time move on to the offseason. Here's some important dates coming up

Feb. 24-March 2—NFL combine, Indianapolis.

March 5—Free agency begins.

March 21-24—Annual owners meeting, Orlando, Fla.

April 22-24—NFL draft.

Guess I'll stick with Basketball till Free Agency starts.

You could always get into the MLS. It is a good summer sport that doesnt involve the MLB. That and soccer is awesome.

Ravens signed Stallworth. Good move pair him with Mason or a Boldin or Marshall via trade, and he is a great complimentary Deep ball threat when healthy.

They should still pursue another WR or get Mason back, but Stallworth can makes some plays.

So I heard OJ Simpson was trying out to be Ray Rice's backup...

*insert obligatory murderer joining the Ravens joke*

I think this is a good move by Ozzie to address the weakest part of the team. Stallworth is a pretty good player who would definitely want to prove he can play and getting him for only the league minimum is a smart signing. I don't think he could be a #1, but if they bring in Marshall/Boldin (hoping for the first choice) he'd be a good #2 and putting Mark Clayton in the slot would really help the passing game. I like this as a first step, but I hope there is more to come to fix up the weaknesses of the team.

What is this, no talk about free agency at all?!

Well even though it wasn't a free agency signing, I'm glad the Ravens FINALLY got a wide receiver in Anquan Boldin and looks to really make the team a passing threat to go along with a good running game. Now hopefully Dereck Mason gets resigned so they have two good options on the outside, and Donte Stallworth as the deep passing threat. The mold of the neo-Steelers is fitting once the WR corps is fixed!

Cromatie going to Jets would easily make them the best cover threat IF Cromatie isn't lazy and actually gets into shape, which I'm sure Rex Ryan can do. They can be a great duo working across one another. He can pull another '07 and the Jets will have the #2 defense in 2010 (after the #1 Ravens of course!) with the stringent 46 defense.

Julius Peppers couldn't get that smile off his face all day. Then again if I was going to make 91 million dollars I'd have the same expression too..Despite the Chicago Bears signings, the biggest issue they need to address is there OLine! Even though a Mike Martz offense is quick paced high flying passing game, if no one is there to protect Jay Interception Cutler, he's going to keep throwing picks! They have to address that with what little draft picks they have left lol...

I didn't know Arizona was having a going out of business sale. Seriously they lost so many players. On the offense side I don't think it's too big of a deal since Steve Breaston can fill in the role of Anquan Boldin--it will heavily depend on the play of Matt Leinhart who should be able to pull an Aarron Rodgers after playing and learning from a great QB. Defense wise, I have no idea, Berry, Dansby, and Rolle are some pretty big guys to lose into free agency and I guess the Cardinals are trying to build through the draft since Arizona isn't exactly a big market with a lot of money to keep all those guys. Either way playing in the NFC West shouldn't be too bad with the Rams/Seahawks in rebuild mode, and the only viable threat being the 49ners.

The draft is definitely going to be different coming now with the changes in free agency. I'm not sure whether the Ravens should draft another WR in the first or go for a CB/DE. Shall be quite interesting in the next up coming months.

Good pick by the Ravens, we will miss Q but I imagine he will be happier now.

As far as defense goes, Rolle, while good isn't exactly worth what he is getting paid, Dansby too. We just picked up Rhodes from NY Jest, so he looks like a decent replacement for Rolle. We have both Porter and Foote coming in for talks, so replacing Dansby won't be an issue. Ah B-Train. The ride was fun. But he was situational and we have some young guys to step up and step in. Hopefully Leinart does well, but only time will tell. That's cool though, we have a nice one-two punch from Timmy Hightower and Chris "Beanie" Wells. That and the FO has been doin a pretty good job with draft picks over the last few years.
