also I didn't really get a chance to share my thoughts on the chapter: 

 

 

A little late on the chapter thoughts I will admit, but that’s what happens during the weekend Endgame comes out, and working on my novel (which 2 chapters before it’s complete).  Finals are also coming up on my end too, but I couldn’t just hold this up forever since luckily we’re on break this week from Jump No new chapters.. So I’m able to play catch up  

Immediately my attention went straight to the title of the chapter which was “Now is the Time to Break the Seal” which have a couple meanings when you really think about it. The first meaning is relating to the original wizard king being free from his stone statue. The second relates to Nero’s true form which obviously is gonna be worth mentioning. 

The chapter begins with Yami and Charla on the offensive maneuver against The Devil as it has been for the past 3 or 4 chapters now. Yami uses Dark Cloaked - Black Reverse Blade Sweep to counter off against the attack, but he takes notice of his mana  and life energy being stolen. The Devil boasts on the strength of his ability compared to how weak Yami’s sword is.  Knowing just how dire the situation is against their advisory is where we get Asta, Yuno, Patri, Nozel, and Mimosa come into the mix.

As the wicked mana creeps over, Yuno and Patri use their respective elemental attacks, Wind Magic Tornado Fang and Light Magic - Light Sword of Judgment. Once the attack takes place, the mana only furthers its approach as Patri tells them to run for it after feel a burn off his skin. Mimosa slips off, but Asta sends her back the other way before being taken in as Yuno and Mimosa screamed for his out. That is until he pulls out his anti-magic sword to cancel out the mana leaving them relieved of his safety, which is something Patri points out. Mimosa determines that the mana is emulating from the top floor which will spread until it reaches the bottom floor where everyone is handling their respective opponents.

 At the same time, Nozel thinks about Noelle while analyzing the situation to even telling Mimosa to aid him back to those floors in need of their comrades for the safety which further shows his worth as a potential wizard king after Julius Novachrono.  Nozel knows full well that Asta, Yuno, Patri can handle the front lines with the enemy ahead, as he assures Nozel that they’ll be able to make it out alive. Finally, we are able to bring it all the way back to the remnants of the devil where The First Wizard King’s Statue lies at the very center. 

As the title of the chapter suggest the seal has been broken as The First Wizard King stone like figure diminishes away, and that includes Nero simultaneously. Final is immediately is left speechless with the original Wizard King returning, but even more so gets an adrenaline rush with Nero’s true form which wow… I can’t believe it never crossed my mind, but a bird means chick so for Yuki Tabata to be so literal is surprising and very clever for sure.  In spite of her “cute” appearance Nero gives off the deadly eyes she’s been giving throughout the entire series to bring Finral back to the main point.  

Turns out that the Wizard King has been sleep the entire time thanks to Nero’s spell, and he picks up that the original king’s power is above even the elves. The chapter then ends with Nero, and the original wizard king taking off into The Shadow Palace after a hilarious moment of Nero gripping onto his hand only for Final to fall back to the ground as the wizard king promises his friends will return.  

Overall, I’m gonna give this chapter of Black Clover an Amazing+. I’m really liking the fact that Yami and Charla are continuing to struggle against The Devil as it’s been displayed in the latest chapters thus far.  Nozel further showcasing his capabilities by simply analyzing the situation in a very Wizard King like manner was just absolutely great, and it further showcases why he will be named the new Wizard king when all is said and done. The original Wizard King was one thing that was really look, but Nero’s true form was definitely the biggest highlight of the chapter which is crazy. After so many theories and speculations as to who Nero was and Tabata did an amazing job which was pretty damn exciting, and she is cute in terms of appearance. The question now stands in terms of revelations Charmy, or Nero? that will be quite an interesting thing to look at especially for a certain Royal Princess Black Bulls Member lol, and that’s something will have to find out in the coming week.

So, Yuno is beginning to resonate with Licht and appears to be recognizing him  as his previous incarnation's father, and Asta will be unlocking a new ability.

Man, this chapter is insane and has left me hyped. Unfortunately, it looks as though Tabata has been pushing himself a little too hard and is going to take a break to address his health.

the typical they pass on to the afterlife I suppose. It'd be neat if they stay and merged to be part of their current incarnations' personalities though
 
BTW, notice just as Noelle fell (?) on Asta, Mimosa smacked into Yuno?
