XY/XYZ I can easily say without a shadow of a doubt, that you have replaced Sinnoh as the best series, which I never thought was gonna happen.


Just like my sig says, I wouldn't want it any other way!!


I'll do my catch up reviews for the last 4 episodes of XYZ when the subs come out so most likely later tonight or tomorrow.


But anyway XY/XYZ I can't wait to get the complete collection when it comes out.



As for Sun and Moon I'll do a video discussion on that later...

No need to get upset, its pretty much an obvious thing that happens in pokemon. I just watched for the girls after Misty left since Ash was becoming dumb by the time Diamond and Pearl came out which was hard to watch but I liked Paul..

 

Oh I'm not upset about the pairings. lol I'm upset at all the BS justifications of Ash not winning a league and always letting go of his strongest Pokemon and want to to call the writers out on it, because it is PRETTY ridiculous if you ask me. I'll just repeat my problems with the writing. Ash is not supposed to win a league because that would make him a Pokemon Master or something along those lines and his journey would be over. Two Problems with that, 1) Ash has already done things ore complicated and potentially more difficult than Winning a league, so why aren't those accomplishments worthy of Being a Pokemon Master? 2) He resets with Pikachu and starts a new adventure anyway.

 

And apparently, having Strong Pokemon gives him an unfair edge. I thought one of the moral messages regard how Ash wins battles is that strength is not all that matters but also strategy because Ash wins in very unorthodox ways, so why can't his opponents do the same? Is he the only one capable of thinking outside of the box? PLUS when Ash DID have a so called Super team of his best Pokemon, He got steam rolled over by Tobias with a Darkrai and a Latios. So they "supposedly forgot about writing in a nonsensical character with overpowered non-one of a kind legendary Pokemon.  So it's okay if Other trainers have super Strong Pokemon But Ash can't because he must be the " underdog that loses in the end anyway".  I'm just tired of it. Say what you want about it being a kids anime, but at least kid's anime are usually consistent with their messages

Whoever was in charge for XY cared too much for his/her own good. It was too standalone material that if it was that, Ash would have won the league. It was most invested that fans ever felt. It became a gateway for newcomers as well. Now, the next one will remind us that this is still Pokemon anime.

honestly you should just try the first season, it gave you feels and you see Ash much smarter than any recent ones

When I was checking XYZ I checked the other season and Sinnoh was the only one to complete . In the first Season Ash grow up, in Sinnoh was a genius and the XYZ almost reach one big step of his dream.

Sakura's confession in the 5 Kate Summit is nothing compared to the moment when Serena flat out told ash to act like himself after loosing his 8th gym battle.

You see Kishi that's how you handle a pairing with development.

True enough. Pokemon never pissed me off anywhere near the level Naruto did, I can say that much. Regardless I'm not watching either, but I will Say Pokemon anime writing is "god tier" compared to Naruto. The only inconsistency I see in okemon that is bs and destroys the themes of is why Ash never wins a league or has to let go of his strongest Pokemon. even the lack of romance is perfectly okay but I just question why kids two years younger than him or even half his age can understand romance but not him. And it's not eve just girls either it's also boys.
