I wonder the new Shounen series are holding up. Funny, because I wasn't kidding about last year. They had like over 14 new series and 14 of them got cancelled. The highest yet.

So I just finished rereading the manga from chapter 1-latest chapter and I get this notion that Kohei has this story planned out.  So far that pacing, character development, themese, messages, etc, are really on point. Each chapter gets better and better as the weeks go by, and the same thing is still happening now. We just finished chapter 37 and now there's hype building on chapter 38. I've said this a while back, but hopefully this series doesn't end up being like 700+ chapters I mean usually number of chapters don't matter it's the quality of the story that does. It's a question I've been getting quite often recently in terms of messages. At best I can say maybe 300 chapters. Oh well that's just me, best thing to do is just wait and see how and where Kohei takes the story foreward because so far it's on a high note.

Hopefully. From his last mangas, you can tell the story wasn't planned out. However, the guy is a creative genius. Even the random change of events eventually sorted themselves out. I love all of his work.

This new chapter. Had me up here feeling so hard for Ochako, like I seriously want to make an Ochako fanclub. She's such a sweetheart and an amazing heroine. I'm sorry Hatsume, I'm sorry Tsuyu, but for right now Ochako deserves the title of "best girl" (if not best character). Trang, doesn't she remind you of older Sheba a little bit? Trying so hard to desperately prove herself to those around her while still learning harsh life lessons. Yet both of them always find a way to be positive.  

 

Other than that, my shipping senses were tingling. Katsuki acknowledging Ochako as a strong person? Caring about her safety for no apparent reason? Already %9345.40 better than SasukexSakura. And Deku finds strength in Ochako's admiration. They have such a healthy friendship! Ochako is such a well rounded girl, it wouldn't be surprising if both of them fell for her. I support both relationships for now. 

 

Though in the future, I would love to see more interaction with Deku and Tsuyu. 

 

Overall, every chapter of Bnha is golden. Sorry Magi, but I think this just became my favorite shounen series.

I wasn't thinking of Sheeba right away, but I do see some similarities. I really loved Ochako in this chapter. Very well-handled by Horikoshi in my eyes. She's very self-critical on herself, so hearing that conversation with her father was a nice message he has sent to her: There's always another time. Her father kind of reminds me of mine tbh. Very supportive and understanding.

*sigh* I'd be lying if I didn't see some admiration coming from Bakugou for Ochako. This is standard shounen tactics after all. It's all hinting towards a possible romantic development (who am I kidding, it's 99.9% gonna happen); however, if that jerk does start to develop feelings for her, he better go through some huge (and when I say huge, I mean GIGANTIC) character development. Otherwise that jerk better leave his fingers of Ochako

Deku kind of has a crush on Ochako already XD

Uuuh, Well, I could see a litlle something something there, but I don't think Bakugou would really fall for anyone. At least I don't think. Well if it must then I at least want  the ship tease equal and spread out like in Fairy Tail. But I wanted a stronger IzukuXOchako interaction though. But the one we got was good, don't get me wrong. It shows how much Izuku cares about her.

No. And even if there was a pairing war, it's never ever gonna come to the same extent as the one we've had with Naruto. The mangaka also made it very clear that he likes the MC with the main female girl.
