Ahhh I'd give anything to see Sakura give Sasuke a real punch to the face, and I mean a REAL punch
LOL That'd be sooooo damn brutal. I'd actually feel sorry for the guy if she KO punched him.
Which part was awesome? The part where she tried to hit pain or the part when she was on her death bed?
Hmmmm... It's actually hard to say.

Come on guys let's not be mean to Hinata. We don't have to stand in the same level as the Sakura haters.

Minato was talking directly to Sakura not Naruto, Naruto get in the way and said that she was his girlfriend because he knew she would react like that, then it made Minato to have a deja vu about Kushina.
It wasnt serious, Naruto has feelings for Sakura but wanst a serious moment.
I never said he was talking to Naruto. I said that Minato didn't react as if it was a joke. I only said that Naruto wouldn't joke about his FEELINGS in a situation like that (as in the war...or ever really). Sure he knew that she might react that way, but all I was trying to prove was that he wouldn't lie about such a thing- his feelings for her.

Strider, I don't get what makes Sakura's asspull special either.
And unless Sasuke has no plans on keeping his ulterial motives secret, Sakura may be one of those who notices something is wrong. Kakashi too. They are so..observant. ÔO And when (if ) Kakashi comes back, he'll come back with a shock seeing "good" Sasuke and his sensei there. I could imagine him asking Sasuke some questions, and Sakura was already suspiscious with Sasuke.

.....I wasn't being mean because that was what actually happened. But if it sounded that way I will stop. :)

Maybe, deep down they're upset their favorite character didn't get such a massive amazing asspull. This makes up for her not doing a ton of fighting after the Sasori fight.
I would of loved to see Kakashi during Sakura's punch as well since he's had to deal with it early in Part 2. I'm sure he's gonna wanna know why he's supposedly good also. I think he'd be a bit like Shikamaru.

Wow just read the chapter... It is great! Although not slug sage mode which I was hoping for still a good power up and Sakura got her moment Like everyone else was saying sucks that she said "Sasuke Kun!". All we can hope for is that it will lead to some sort of conclusion to end SS and reveal NS as the pairing. Still hoping Sakura get's more panels in the next chapter would like to see if there are any other benefits besides the increased beastly strength and speed.

Well Naruto overload is finally gone, glad to see people chilling out over the events from before, now lets all hope that these chapters remain excited, isn't it funny how the manga has gotten good since Sakura was shown with the chakra cloak? And I am not saying this as a fan of Sakura and NS, I mean seriously, the last chapter itself had a lot going for it beyond the stuff we said already, and this one is top notch too.
Our hopes are realistic and theres a lot of potential on the horizon. who knows we may get something grand in the new few chapters. Future NS stuff is inevitable, but for now its nice to know things rest in our favor especially with the Kushina parallel and Naruto still loving Sakura.

You didn't again Slext, you didn't again.
To the forum, Jizz guys what is really going on, do you people honestly believe that Naruto would be showing clear intention of wanting to be with Sakura and he would be denied by Sasuke?
There are so many things to unfold, Naruto reason of liking her, bench scene, how does she feels towards Naruto, who she supports, etc.
Even with the resent chapters and correct translation, Naruto assumed Sakura was his gf but she didn't deny it and according to the latest translation Naruto was jealous and Sakura teased him about it. Sakura part one will deny it, Sakura who loves Sasuke and wants to be with him would let Naruto understand that she doesn't want to hurt him and she would not tease a jealous Naruto.
Sasuke is not going to get with Sakura not if Naruto still wants to be with her and Kishi is clearly taking NH out of the fight, so why he will remove one of Naruto two love or possible love interest for Naruto to end up single at the end of the Manga?
We know Naruto is going to have a son, stated by the Author himself and he just show us that Sakura is his mother parallel.
I'm not trying to assure anyone, is just common sense.
Sasuke vs Naruto do the math, be my guess
Bolded: Maths!!! 1 + 1 = erm...ummm..... NS!!!!! w00000t
Seriously i didn'tt hink about what you put there. Who else will Naruto have a relationship with if he's taken Hinata out of the equation? Random nin??
I dont tink so!!

Well with the recent interaction between KibaHina I'm beginning to wonder what Kishi's intentions are for them. Are they going to remain as companions only or will they become romantically involved with each other? There is somewhat of a foundation for them tracing back to P1 when Kiba expressed a greater level of concern for her concern than Shino or any of the others in the tower. Following the preliminaries before the third exam was to take place Hinata was waiting at the training grounds for Kiba. That was her original intention for being in that area prior to Naruto's appearance.
During P2 there is minimal Team 8 interaction but from what we can infer it appears that Kiba's concern for Hinata remains as powerful as it was during P1. If he was ever present whilst Naruto was talking with Hinata he would acknowledge that compassion apparently for Hinata's benefit. If Hinata is going to become involved with anyone it appears that it may be Kiba. Oh, but then that presents a dilemma of how her family would react to a non-Hyuga becoming involved with one of their family members. Would they allow it? The Hyuga Clan appears to be the sort who would restrictively intermarry with each other in order to maintain the purity of their bloodline and KG.

^I've noticed that too. I'm glad that Obito is gone. His dialogues, especially the ones with Naruto were always bland and flat to me. They were corny and looked like a failed attempt to be wise.
I'm more excited for each week's chapter now. And it's a character I care about :3

I think it's hard to read the panels and listen to the lyrics at the same time.

Exactly... there's something that irks me with that 3 year thingie.
But I think it's that way because Sakura looks pretty confident and if it would be to disappear, she would worry about it, wouldn't she?
But she's like supa-dupa confident.
Sakura's technique.
True, suits her better. And indeed, I was like... O_O really?!
Yeah if we'd had the question with the seal answered, i'd be perfect! :)
Now, I wonder this... Tsunade has the Yin SEAL and when releases techniques, she releases Sozo Saisei or Byakugo.
But Sakura has Hyakugo SEAL...what could that release? IF only formed enhances everything..such as speed and power...
I really hope Kishi makes the time to explain her new ability further.
From what I recall Yin seal was just a chakra storage seal that could be opened in order to activate different jutsus.
This seal thou the Hyakugo....it feels like a sage mode. Now clearly it seems that it's the user's chakra and not natural energy or some other source but the way the body improves it's attack capabilities is remarkable.
Not sure if 3 years worth of chakra is compressed and then somehow can be controlled by the user in order to attack but Sakura's hint of it being more powerful than Tsunade's because Tsunade also used it to look young means that the chakra is still in that fluid form and can be manipulated. Meaning if she carries on she will run out of chakra, even thou she applies the perfect chakra to power ratio.

Yeah, KibaHina was a subtle hint in this chapter and i'm suprised actually. Any takers on the chances of KibaHina

Juugo just gave away that Sasuke isn't truly redeemed, and I fell that kishi is giving team 7 one last hooray before converting Sasuke back to the darkside.

well to be frank, at first i feel this chapter really brings a downer to me after what happens in 631. maybe due to lack of pages to display the intensity of sakura stepping up makes me really like "oooyyhh"...but after rereading her word and facial expression when the seal's formed, i think i am somewhat content.
but just like everybody, I do hope Kishi will show what is it to make the three of them to be the chosen disciple of the legendary sannin, the true power they posses

Is it weird that I sometimes ship Hinata with her guard?

I never said he was talking to Naruto. I said that Minato didn't react as if it was a joke. I only said that Naruto wouldn't joke about his FEELINGS in a situation like that (as in the war...or ever really). Sure he knew that she might react that way, but all I was trying to prove was that he wouldn't lie about such a thing- his feelings for her.
Exactly.
Naruto and Sakura have often reminded me of a Japanese version of Benedick and Beatrice in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing -- a couple who everyone thought was meant for each other, but defined by their war of wills and their stubborn outward denial of the feelings and attraction they have for each other.
I was reminded of this again last chapter when Sakura headbutted Naruto for the girlfriend confirmation to his father, and then how funny it was that Naruto complained she was hurting him when she was supposed to be healing him, and then Minato's third-party realization that, in a sense, they belong together the way he belonged with Kushina.
What makes it funny -- in Shakespeare's play and in the Naruto manga -- is that other people, including the reader -- can see that the couple is right for each other, that they're so close to falling in love but still in denial about it, and that it's only a matter of time until they have to give up, abandon their pride and comfortable routine with each other, and get together.
That's the joke. "Thou and I are too wise to woo peaceably."
Likewise, in this chapter we see Naruto become comically fearful of how powerful Sakura has become, and he acknowledges that he needs to treat her differently -- more seriously -- than he has before.
Point being, the nature and dynamic of Naruto and Sakura's relationship has precedent not only in the manga itself, but in classic literature. The constant heat and energy between them, combined with humor and strong wills, is an old recipe for serious love circa 1598.
Even Kishimoto bows to the immortal Bard.
