Sakura for me is always has potential to reach kage level.
I mean perfect chakra control, genjutsu affinity, super streght, medical jutsu? And how about potentially slug summon and slug sage jutsu. I think the hatred really cloud their judgement.

I'm really not sure what people were expecting and why they were expecting it. I tried to warn them that you can't assume Naruto's feelings are going to change all of a sudden. The burden of proof is on the change, not on the persistence. Persistence is always assumed. This is what happens when you assume a change in a character as unflappable as Naruto.

That's not how I understood it. At least that isn't what splitting hairs means. In one he says

"That more or less it."

"If you're splitting hairs.."

They are essentially the same thing except one is a complete sentence and the other one implies that Sakura cut him off mid-sentence. I cannot read/understand Japanese so I can't confirm either. If anyone DOES read Japanese and can confirm that Sakura cut him off mid-sentence I would say that the splitting hairs one is the more accurate translation.

It really just has the same affect as the other translation "More or less", although it is used awkwardly in this situation and doesn't fit very well. Essentially in this context Naruto's is answering yes, but in an indirect way-indicating 'it' is complicated.

For the longest time, they've tried to nail into our heads that Naruto was over Sakura because of her "failfession" and the lack of NS development but even so, with all of the "development" NH did get, there was never a change in Naruto's feelings when it came to romance. It was the same throughout it all. Even though she saved him, confessed to him, worried about him. Nothing changed, and it doesn't seem like there's gonna be a change either. I mean, I really can't understand why it's so hard to see tbh. I want to know where they saw this change in his feelings. It seems like the only moment they'll use to their advantage is the confession and even then, it's not even of use considering they didn't have a falling out or anything. He still loves her.

Hmmm, for me, the way I think "splitting hairs" means is that "I guess we are actually in a committed relationship although nothing is really defined and set in stone yet."

Here's what I found in the Urban dictionary example

"When you are accused of being forty-five minutes late for an appointment, you are splitting hairs to say that you were really only forty minutes late."

The meaning behind the phrase ' split hairs' is basically to say , arguing small issue, or irrelevant issue. This phrase could also be used to mean differentiate. It is a very visual phrase.

EDIT: SPLIT HAIRS - "Argue extensively over trifles or fine distinctions; quibble. A hair can be split today without much trouble, but once it was thought to be so fine that an effort to split it would be a waste of time.

OR

Basically means little or no difference. Imagine splitting a hair in two, what difference would there be between the two pieces, almost none.

so basically naruto meant that minato made a accurate assumption between him and sakura being a couple.

Well in comparison to the characters whom Kishi has decided to focus his attention on Yamato is rather disinteresting sadly. There is much more to be offered from the likes of Madara, Orochimaru, and Tobi than him. We never were provided with much information relating to Yamato's background or motivations which could have potentially transformed him into a dynamic character. The only noteworthy aspects that Kishi provided to him were his unique ability to use Mokuton and his connection to Orochimaru for being the sole child to have survived his research into Hashirama's genetic makeup and fighting techniques. Beyond those qualities, he is a rather bland character admittedly.

I have to admit that it is unfortunate that Kishi has not even provided a reference to Yamato's status since he was integrated into the Hashirama replica. Is he at Tobi's lair still or did something happen to him? What about the Hashirama replica which Tobi created? Is there any more significance to it apart from its usage as an enhancement to the now extinct White Zetsu army?

That brings up yet another concern. What happened to Black Zetsu? Is Kishi going to address his fate? We may never know as he and Yamato do appear to be receiving the shaft.

As for Sai well he already had his character resolution earlier during the war arc. There really isn't much else that can be provided for him unless Kishi decided to include him into the Team 7 gathering this chapter.

I know, it's not like there wasn't sufficient development and foreshadowing. Them missing the point is not our fault and they need to get over it.
