My honest opinion is the only way she's going to mature out of this is to take away the source of strength, which is Naruto dying.[/color]

Naruto dying ... all the confidence she managed to summon up will die on the spot, along with her point of living. How sad. sleep.gif LOL, just kidding! I'm exaggerating of course. biggrin.gif

But I do wonder, if Naruto died, would Hinata decide to not give up and keep going? I mean, she did with Neji but it's possible Neji isn't as important to her as Naruto. Wow, if that's true, that is sad. omfg.gif Or I guess to put it accurately, her purpose would be gone and her aspirations. I kinda almost feel like Hinata would be like "What do I do know?" and cry harder than she did for Neji.

I almost think she'd give up, Naruto motivates her to do everything. headscratch.gif

Well... Sakura is like Naruto. Established, right?
I am totally like Sakura (it's even strange, lol)... Established.

I once tried to date someone opposite than myself. Hinata type and I mean it!

Well, we broke-up after the first month.

It's like... I didn't had with whom to argue, lol. He was all like "as you say, we'll do as you wish" so on and so forth. So no, it didn't worked out, at all! That's how I'd see Hinata with Naruto, to be honest. And I'd see Naruto in the end getting bored, as I did. Me and that guy, remained friends, but couldn't date. I'd see the same result with NaruHina as well. Hinata's no challenge for Naruto. The type of personality he has needs to be continuously challenged. And we all know who does that.

So, sorry, but opposite may attract themselves, but they definitely don't wear themselves. At the end, they will go in opposite directions because that's why they're called opposites in the first place.

Well the difference is that was your personal experience in a relationship with an opposite and it wont be the same for everyone else.

I myself went out with a girl who was the definition of opposite to me. We went out for a year and half with the ONLY reason we broke up was unfortunate events. Even my parents are opposites and they have been married for almost 25 years.

It's not accurate to say that because two people are opposites the relationship won't last. It worked for me and my parents. I do agree that Naruto and Hinata's personalities are completely different, but I don't think that's why it won't work.

It all comes down to LOVE if you ask me. wub.gif I could be ugly and you could be pretty but its the love two share that keeps them together. Naruto and Hinata IMO just don't have that deep love.

That's because the love is only coming from one side, and NH fans just can't admit that.

There's one thing they can't destroy. NaruSaku being canon. The day that happens, no matter how hard they rage and how much they say NS was always friendship, you can't change the canon pairing in the series. We'll always have that over them. happy.gif

Seriously they really are blind if they think sakura isn't the most popular female character in naruto and has a huge fanbase in japan, kishimoto-sensie's main fanbase. Honsetly, they aren't true naruto fans because they're practically bashing the main heroine of the series who has had AMAZING and deep emotional development, both romace-wise , character-wise and-power wise, and the love interest, Haruno sakura, of the main hero, Uzumaki Naruto. That alone is an insult to kishimoto-sensie's work. Not to mention they rub off the japanese culture, which is important to know if you wanna 100% understand the details of the manga.

I wonder, if Sakura's love for Sasuke is meant to be so special to the point that they're meant to be together then why on earth is Ino portrayed to be on the same level? The first thing that came to mind when Ino thought of Sasuke in the latest chapter was how Sakura did the same in 540. And in both scenarios it implied their regretfulness of having those feelings.

It seems to me that their love for Sasuke was meant to be portrayed as something that they were eventually meant to overcome of in order to achieve their characters resolution.

Just saying.

honestly i was thinking tje same thing today, and i also believe that hinatas love for naruto wasn't portrayed as romantic but as admiration.

That is what makes NS the endgame.

How much do you think things have changed these past 3 years of Naruto?
In case you forgot the state NaruSaku was in 3 years ago here's quick video to remind you.

Since then we've had Sakura (almost) feeding Naruto, Sakura crying out for Naruto after Konoha's destruction, the infamous hug, Sai's shenanigans, Sakura's confession, Team 7 reunion, Naruto's talk with Kushina, oh and let's not forget Sakura's dark view about her love for Sasuke. I'm not sure if I got everything so feel free to let me know if I left anything out.

There's a lesson that I had took in my psychology course, which is that opposites don't attract. The researches proved it, and so the psychologists too.
1) Opposites can't keep up to each other. 2) They can't understand each other completely. 3) They can't live with each other because there will be problems concerning their understanding and coherence between each other. 4) They won't be interested in what the other like.

These are the four main reasons. There has to be at least some things in common. With no common stuff, there won't be a committed relationship between them.
These four main reasons are clearly the same with NH. It's fiction, but, still, it's clearly that a serious relationship can't be established for them from the way their characters are and how they could interact. It would be unreasonable. And for me, NH would be very weird and always saw it like that fu.png

Firstly, stepping back a bit, I wonder if people TRULY believe that Sakura would be a horrible person if she's moved on from her love for Sasuke. I mean, ok, maybe if Sasuke was actually a good guy and stayed by her side and treated her like a friend/lover, she wouldn't have a valid reason. Who in their right mind believes Sasuke is a good guy that would stay by her side? Sasuke ridiculed her, attacked her, almost killed her a couple of times, is that not enough reason for some people to feel it's ok for her to move on? Is it really that terrible that she lets go of a love that will bring her nothing but pain?

I can only see Sakura's love for Sasuke as a regression now. Sure, she could forgive Sasuke for all he's done, but what is that going to do? Suddenly put Sasuke under a love spell for Sakura? Sasuke does not and never has loved Sakura. It's still terrible for her character to be in love with someone who will no doubt never love her back. "She's the only on that can help him restart his clan" Are you that Uchiha obsessed that you think Sakura should sacrifice her body to Sasuke just to build a clan? :/

Is it not ok for her to fall for the guy who has remained by her side and would do anything to make her happy? Not only that, is it not ok for her deep caring for said guy to develop into something more than just friendship? I don't get it. Some peoples view of love and friendship are so black and white. If they're a friend, they must always be a friend, no matter what. If they're a love interest, they must always be a love interest, no matter what.

Some may say that's hypocritical, after all, we hold Naruto's feelings so high above Hinata's feelings, both of which has remained static throughout the manga. If Naruto's love for Sakura were questioned or wavering throughout the manga like Sakura's love for Sasuke, then I would wonder about it and question whether NS was really meant to be. If there were significant hints that Naruto was turning Hinata's way romantically dabbled throughout the manga, then I would wonder, "Hm, maybe NH is going to happen."

But it didn't. Naruto's feelings has always been static, even during Sakura's confession, they never changed. Hinata can be in love with Naruto all she wants, but it's just as bad for her character as Sakura's character if the boy they're obsessing over doesn't even return their feelings.

Secondly, about the groupthink thing, it's basically the same thing as a cult/religion, or rather, cults/religions suffer from groupthink. Not only SS/NH suffers from this, some NS groups suffer from this too, and to a lesser extent, people here as well.

You know that comparing real relationships with fiction does not work, look at sakura, Sasuke rejected her and he tried to kill her two times, he showed that he does not care about her and still she loves him, while there's a guy that shows affection towards her, it's already unrealistic, Hinata is clingy, and she only thinks about him 24/7 it's already unrealistic and moreover exaggerated, she is a not a type of woman capable of handling Naruto, does not fit with a woman that is submisse, Naruto is a energetic guy, it's like picking Zyzz and put him to date with the girl that is a nerd and uses glasses.

And kishi showed so many times on this manga that Men does not change their feelings only girls, Tsunade, Sakura,Karin,Ino,Kushina all those girls changed their feelings/ demonstrated that they can change.
Men never.

Yeah, you can't compare every bit of real relationships with the ones of fiction, but Sakura can't be compared with real realtionships. Sakura is a single character who has these problems but real relationships as two persons who are already together is something else.

Fiction relationships isn't like 100% real relationships , but you can't make a fiction pairing who are not potentially capable to be with each other, clearly of what you see in the manga, which is taking some of the real relationships with what they have of faults that couldn't work their relationships with as individuals, and with that you can make the comparing based on rational thoughts that a mangaka could work with.

The thing with my example was that I exposed, to say like this, some common traits both real-world and fictional world have.
I am not saying that it has to be 100 percent accurate. Just similarities and why I,personally, see Sakura more suited for Naruto than Hinata.
Because of the personality traits they share that are common, some of them, may I remind you, in the real world.

I can't help but laugh at how worked up people get about the pairing wars. It's not like life is gonna slow down for them if you win or lose, and it's fictional characters. I just find it funny how angry or biased people get because of Hinata or Sakura, lol.

Men never.

Hey you're right, I never noticed that before, good observation.

Somehow I feel that'll get counter-argued ;p

Guys, how do you interpret these expressions? It was right after Sakura say "I love you" to Naruto, especially Yamato and Kiba.

sorry, I've been asked so many things like that, but I really wanted to read some other opinions. sweatdrop.gif

I got NO idea other than Lee being in shock. Not sure why Tenzo would be like that, given he's the one who seems to see Sakura has feelings for Naruto, even if he doesn't realize how it is and all.
