I've seen many people consider Kishi to be Japan's version of George Lucas, but I don't think Lucus did anything as bad as Kishi. Many people say the star wars prequel trilogy and make a few changes with ever release of the movies that come out every 3 years.
Not even close. Lucas never destroyed his stories. If anything, TL would not have been a canon movie and the novels and SP could have worked with different fandoms individually. That is George Lucas style.
