The plot for this movie still seems so weird to me. I thought once we got some plot information things would start to make more sense, but I'm even more confused. I don't know what to think about it at all, the whole doomsday-natural-disaster premise feels really odd for a Naruto movie.

For years Jiraiya and Obito, despite not having their feelings returned, kept on loving Tsunade and Rin. Naruto has been paralleled to these two characters specifically and has traits that mirrors these two.

 

You seriously trying to tell me Kishimoto would change Naruto to a degree that he'd stop being romantically interested in Sakura?

 

Loving Sakura IS PART OF Naruto character.

 

There has been NOTHING to suggest he got over her.

 

People like those on NF don't know how to read the story or understand what Naruto is about/what he represents so they're quick to say he got over Sakura and is after Hinata DESPITE NOTHING IN THE MANGA EVEN SUGGESTING IT/BUILDING UP TO THE MOMENT.

 

If it's related to love then it's about Naruto and Sakura.

 

If Naruto can change how Kurama of all things feels about him, then is it really impossible for Sakura to change how STRONGLY she FEELS about Naruto?

That's one of the most irritating anti NS statement.

 

I would take the functional friendship that is NS over whatever  angsty thing is going on between Sasuke and Sakura as a basis for a romantic couple and over Naruto's apparent pity for Hinata.

There's no point in basing the movie on NH. There's hardly any romantic conflict between Naruto and Hinata. If only someone kidnaps Hinata, but then again... Kakashi has been already taken in "The Will of Fire". Sakura too in RtN. And now Hinata? I can see Naruto being with her only out of duty. =(

Listen, we don't know what the status are in terms of relationship. Naruto isn't changing, ok. End of story. I know you guys hate the fact the whole bromance exist with him and Sasuke but guess what, you should be happy. Why? Because that only means one thing: HE DIDNT CHANGE! Yes, do change love, because God knows that you got way too much endorsement from Minato, Kushina, Sai, Yamato, Konohamaru, frogs, and anyone else that haven't touch NH/SS. So again, why?

Now back to this, listen, you don't know the status. For all we know, it could be Naruto trying to step in to another level. You know. I don't know but I don't at least pretend to know all. I would love to read the already finished manga that you all have. Just wait, ok. Just wait. I beg of you guys for one last time, stop falling into the same bait that keeps having the same bs flavor. Seriously he does this all the time... In the face of manga analysis and other things pointing towards end game pairings he's back again to spread panic and anxiety.

 

Hinata wasn't set up to be Naruto's love interest...Sakura was.

 

For the entire manga, Sakura has remained his love interest and has been paralleled with other pairings.

 

So wouldn't this poster be pointing more towards NaruSaku, when this story is about the main character and his feelings are priority.

 

I don't recall Hinata ever being built up to be his love interest. It's always been about HER progress, not THEIR'S TOGETHER.

 

Has Kishimoto's "sh*tty writing" really caused people to expect the absolute worst case scenario?

You know guys by just watching RTN you realize lots of things.
Kishimoto made Sakura interact with Minato not only in the movie, but in the manga aswell.

with the movie, people brushed it off easily saying that it's not canon and blah blah. But then we also got the interaction in the manga, which you can't twist. If Hinata was the one to interact with Minato, I would have given up on NS and accepted that NH might had a chance but until the very last moment Minato was in the story, she was never mentioned.

What was the purpose of Minato meeting Sakura other than meeting and coming to know the woman his son loves?

Was that even necessary? Honestly no one expected it, we actually feared the opposite, but then it happened. Kishimoto could have easily skipped this scene, but he didn't. For me this is a big HINT.

the funny thing is that  guy has stated before that he doesn't give a kitten about whoever Naruto go together...  a unbiased biased guy   and still funny how he is insisting with the omae of Naruto's statement in the jacket book. Ignoring just that Naruto uses omae with all his peers. if he never used omae with other girls, it's just because he hadn't any direct debates with them, except 3 women in his life (his mother, sakura and hinata). but nvm, whatever.... i don't kitten this kitten. it's amusing but also annoying

RtN Kushina ships NS too! I believe there was a hint when they were standing at the gates before going to retrieve the scroll.
