Me: I'm actually surprised my NS/OR comment got three likes. I know full well this is NH central and I'm playing with fire posting NS comments on it. XD That's why I love Naruto. He deserves happiness more than anyone, and I don't want his efforts wasted on Sakura after so many chapters. Hinata is not his happiness, Sakura is. He's loved her since forever and he never changes his feelings. Most NH fans usually focus on Hinata's feelings and what makes her happy, not Naruto's.

Congratulations to me. I finally got bashed by a NH troll on Sawyer7mage's YT review. Top score: 18 hours until it happened. Bolded: Love how this person has no respect for the NaruSaku fanbase and apparently we're all idiots if we don't think NH's gonna happen.

The funny thing is I actually laughed when I read this. Where's the intelligent response to prove me wrong?

I never get involved in pairing debates, personally I value my sanity a little too highly and I tend to believe in if you have nothing to say don't say anything at all but...

I have a pretty high tolerance for debating, if only I know it severe's a purpose. I normally can tell when it's doesn't when people revert to name calling instead of validating proof or try to counter argue by bring up something else just to make my point look bad. "ex. Sakura's so called fake confession"

I really love debating over pairings in general, so I usually have patience. I didn't even insult that person back. I just mentioned that two of NaruHina's major moments got downplayed. Confession? Trolled with NaruSaku hug; Naruto ignores the confession. Hand-holding? Confirmed to be a battle strategy for the alliance, as everyone else got the same treatment. It wasn't special enough to be pairing proof.

Normally, I'd be offended by the blatant disrespect, but I just find the bashing/resorting to insults hilarious. I wonder what the NH troll will say to me next, if they respond to me at all.

I felt like debating again, so I figured "What better place to go to then Sawyer7mage's reviews?". I love how he called me butthurt, when seriously I'm completely calm and unworried. NaruSaku's probably gonna happen at this point, NaruHina probably not.

Guess that NaruHina fan is overcompensating for something.

I'm guessing a lot of them raged and freaked out, because they wanted Hinata to be the one who hugged Naruto when he returned. And then they started making excuses, like "The hug is platonic. Sakura doesn't love Naruto, she loves Sasuke."

first. im sorry about nh's insult on you. to be honest, there are 2 things i hate from pairing war, character bashing and fans insulting.

about your statement

EXACTLY. that WAS the reason for me to support NS (yup, i was NS voter). and that IS the very same reason for me to support NH.

2. I don't want his efforts wasted on Sakura after so many chapters
his effort on sakura is nothing compared to his effort on sasuke.

3. Sakura is his happiness, Hinata is not
someone yelled at him while his heart got broken for losing his master is his happiness? someone who was regretting cheering on him for his sadness for the possibility of losing tsunade is his happiness? someone tried to stop him from saving his lover best friend is his happiness?
WHILE
someone who brought up his spirit from a deep depression hundreds chapter ago is not his not is his happiness? someone who pevented him from doubting himself at least twice is not his happiness? someone who would protect him even costing her life (don't forget that kushina also did this) is not his happiness?
you should have judged your own opinion before made a statement for rival fans to read. i guarantee that you will get insulted again if you dont

can't be proven (up to ch 617) : Naruto loved sakura, naruto likes sakura, naruto loves sakura.
debatable : "naruto never changes his feeling" vs "sakura has never been naruto's goal"

Its not that Hinata deserves Naruto, but Naruto and only Naruto who deserves Hinata. if not for our anti-harem culture, i wouldnt bother if Naruto choses both
Hinata and Sakura, TBH.

Extra : i would never support NH if it was hinata who hugged naruto.

Nah, it's cool. The only emotion I felt when I read that was that I thought it was funny.

1. Same. I became a NaruSaku shipper because of how hard Naruto tried to be with her. His pain for Sakura's feelings for Sasuke always broke my heart. He's my favorite character, of course I want him to get what he wants. I care a lot about Sakura's happiness, too. That's why I'd never support SS 'cause Sasuke makes her go through too much angst. She's never happy when it comes to him. It makes me sad.

2. Can't argue with your point there. Funnily enough, I ship SasuNaru too for that exact reason.

3. My argument there was pretty much based in the romance department, not in general. There are a lot of people out there who make Naruto happy, not just Sakura. Guess I should've been more clear there. Naruto's not like Hinata whose entire existence revolves around Naruto. He literally is her happiness personified. I may be biased, but I'm not THAT biased.

4. True, yet it's not exactly a strong argument. Very little time passed since the Kage Summit. That's not enough time for Naruto to just stop loving her. Realistically, it takes longer than that. That's why I don't think his feelings changed.

Counter: Naruto doesn't like giving up, and moving on from Sakura is pretty much "giving up". While it's not impossible for him to give up as it's been proven, I don't see why something like romance means "Oh, he'll give up on it."

5. I guess I can see why some might cheer for Hinata. The appeal is there, she's never hated him. But I'm Naruto-biased, so I find his efforts to be with Sakura better storytelling and much more deeply felt. That promise ... the feels!

Wow, you're a peaceful shipping fan. I wish I could love both NS/NH, but it's virtually impossible for me. NaruHina is just ... meh. Boring. And Hinata's character is flat to me.

Here's what I don't get. I know the confession is debatable to the full extent, but the one thing is that many people outside the manga has interpreted that they are still in fact a good terms as in Naruto loves Sakura, Sakura is still questionable, the end. The reason why I'm saying this is because it would seem anime and market knows that they are still in good shape, not like Naruto said screw her or anything of sort. Anime interview once said that they are being as careful as they can be to relate to the manga in any state. If that's the case, why they made episode 235. I know this is from anime, but even interviewer asked who Sakura loves now with an answer that makes us think, "Perhaps Naruto is almost there, but got to progress more." A video game even interpreted that they are still great friends and walked out together to continue working hard and hopefully everyone (Team 7) can be happy again. This argument is towards to the people who believes that the confession ends NS.

To be honest, what I think it's considered "Told you so" was in fact the movie. You may say, "That's filler," but let's be honest, this is not just a filler from the studio themselves. This is Kishimoto's work, needless to say, one hundred percent his. We are in year 3 of this arc and Kishi still gave a ton of NS bonding and not to mention, Naruto still loves Sakura. You may say, "Well, that happened before confession or even Kushina's advice," but again, even though he couldn't find it the perfect time, the point is that the development of these characters are from close to the beginning of war arc, or to the point where Kushina has introduced herself to Naruto already. After all, we get to see Naruto's birth flashback once again (now on the big screen). Don't get me started on how many opportunities Kishi had to establish true pairings. Many mangaka has done this to their movies when they get the chance. Sure worked well with Fairy Tail.

I guess the main problem now is that millions and millions are in denial because we need a black and white image to prove it. Okay, that's fair, especially in the current state, but I have one thing to say. If there's one NS moment, whether it's from Naruto, Sakura, Obito's parallel, Kuruma's comment, or anything that relates to NS,.....time's up. That's my last thing to say to NH harsh fans. I never fight, but they could sure make others into one. If it happens, one down, one to go. What goes around, comes around. I await for the conclusion of the war.

edit: @ NS4life3q, i took a consideration of the anime being a possible evidence. but i dropped that since kabuto revived hidan in recent fillers. hell, how come you revived someone who didnt die?

this's false. Kishimoto said in his last databook (or fanbook, i don't remember now) that Hidan, in order to being immortal, he MUST keep on eating...

Anyway that's just a filler from Pierrot. RTN is made by Kishimoto. It's different.

Look, all I'm saying is that they can make Mizuki six path of pain for all I care, the fact is the overall story is still in tact. What I mean by that is the current status of each characters. The event can be brushed off like nothing, but it's the status that counts. For example:

Naruto: Boy, that Mizuki really went his way to get back at me.
Sakura: Naruto, you may have many enemies, but you will always triumph them.
Naruto: Are you talking to me? Psst. Leave me alone, liar.

It's show the status of their character, even one event happened. But then again, my argument was in fact the movie, which heavily exposed Kishi's intention by many fans in Japan. But I think you understand it.

hmm. you have a point there. i want to know your opinion about these matter:

do you think the anime team know the ending of the manga? because i think we can't tell about the overall story before the ending. or atleast, do you think that kishimoto involved in the creation on the anime? besides the RtN of course

some debate thread use only the manga as valid evidence, the other allowed the databook and kishi's interview, but none of them allowing the anime and the movies, do you know the exact reason? (nah, im hoping any admin to answer this)

about the RtN. i havent watch the movie yet. but from the way you guys talking about it, its really good for NS. my question is, why do you think kishimoto exposed a lot of sakura's life on the movie but never do that in the manga? because i cant help but thinking the movie is a real fanservice. thats just my feeling, im not going to debate about it

Oh I love how this person thinks our hearts are wounded because opposite pairing apparently will happen. This isn't a football game where whoever wins gets to point their finger at the losers and tell them that they're "butthurt". Here we are, discussing mangaquality, not whining because our two characters won't be together. In 615, I was more concerned about Naruto's reaction, it should've waited to Sasuke's or Sakura's death. Most of these people on Sawyer's video didn't even care that the main character was so OOC. As long as their pairing becomes canon and they get to tell NS fans that they're butthurt, nothing else matters.

I don't know, sometimes the most likely solution to a problem is the most obvious one.

Debate is born from the difference of opinions on what you happen to believe is right. The thing is that in this case we can debate all we want but it will just be for the sake of our peace of mind. It won't help at all to determine which pairing will happen.

Maybe in the end it's pretty cut and dry. Naruto never gives up, so he'll keep on loving Sakura. She has slowly warmed up to him, so eventually will come to love him. Anything else that happens in between is just for tension.
