Well I came across a Not Okay with The Naruto Ending Group on Facebook, which I give props to whoever had the courage to do so
and This is pretty obvious, but anyway info sharing:
''An easy guide on HOW TO MAKE A SUCCFESSFUL SEQUEL TO YOUR MANGA !
1. Keep the characters that made your first manga a success.
2. Or develop side characters that we got attached to.
3. DO NOT include romance if it was not developed or HEAVILY hinted on in your main manga.
4. do not make a sequel on the heroes' brats.
5. Talk about the aftermath of everything that happened in your main work, we'd like to see if the changes and dreams the heroes fought for actually came true.
6. They're all happy heterosexuals married with kids IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SEQUEL.
7. There's a new villain in town adventure sequel, we'll roll our eyes at you but read it because we're faithful losers like that.
8. If your first work was really long, make it short or middle length max.
9. PLEASE do not ruin your characters development by ignoring or inventing stories that you did not include in your main work and that end up contradicting everything you wrote in the first place.
10. Do not make a sequel for money.''
