Okay, I discovered the pairing I can't understand what so ever at all- Yaoi yes, I am referring to NS. NaruSasu.

•I was reading when Team 7 was reunited again- and I saw on NS fan on dA point out how Naruto "loves" Sasuke.

•That same chapter/near chapter that Kakashi makes a comparison to Naruto and the Third, it went something like "He loved him", he was saying that the Third loved Orochimaru no matter how evil he had become- does that make him gay?I believe he was married <.<

•And yet still claims on "Naruto loves Sasuke" vis versa even though Naruto has stated he thinks of Sasuke as a "brother"- do brothers love each other in the way there mommy's wouldn't want them to love each other? Only the weirdo's.

•I also believe Kishimoto has made it quite clear Naruto is not gay. Like when Konohamaru said if Sakura was his girlfriend, he said yes. Most gay people do not have crushes on a girl then- only bi's

NaruSasu is crack I don't know how many times it has to be said to the fans of said pairing that this is a shonen manga NOT a shonenai manga. It gets tiring of saying the same thing over and over again, it's the same thing with telling the NH and SS fandom that their pairing has little percentage of becoming canon in the manga.

Anyone else getting tired of hearing this stupid argument on how NH parallels MinaKushi? I keep on hearing about how Minato being "charmed" by Kushina's hair somehow parallels Hinata being "charmed" by Naruto's determination....I really want to go in and yell "IT'S THE FOREHEAD!!! KUSHINA'S HAIR PARALLELS SAKURA'S FOREHEAD!!!" Even some of the NH fans are starting to shoot down this argument

Oh my goodness- sorry, the whole NH/MK parallel just made me laugh. Seriously? "Charmed" by his determination? Um, lol I thought it was ADMIRATION not "charmed" what the heck xp?! There is absolutely no way they can compare them- okay, let's see this at a very obvious stand-point (where I won't get shot, lmao)

•Kushina/Sakura- both girls that are outgoing and keep men in check.

•Minato/Naruto- both said they "love" what the girls think are bad/ugly features.

•Naruto saved Sakura (Bridal-style) Minato saved Kushina (Bridle-style)

•Naruto needs a girl who could keep him in check when he gets out of hand (Sakura has been doing an excellent job)

•Hinata- well, I don't think she could actually handle Naruto... As in keeping him out of trouble...

Not sure how that relates to MinaKushi but aww heck. Oh, well.

Minato had a calm nature? This is the guy who invented the Flying Thunder God technique to move from one place to the other faster. More like hyperactive if you asked me.

The reason we see Minato act cool is because of his style of leadership, Naruto is like his father in the way that when he is not being his mother, he is being his father. We've seen Naruto think...when he has too that is.

There's ansolutely no similiarity between Hinata to Kushina or Hinata to Minato none whatsoever period. Minato and Kushina is the paralel to Naruto/Sakura that's the truth. However if Kishi wants NH he could have made parelel to NH making Kushina the shy insecure girl who secretly likes Minato but every time she got closer to him she blush and fainted.

But I still ask myself why did Kishi made Kushina the same with Sakura when it comes to looking down on Minato and being teased because of her long red hair?

Did we ever see enough of Rin though to know exactly what her personality was like?

I always thought Rin was very Sakura-esk of a character just a little more soft spoken then most Kishimoto heroines. Obviously she was filled with grief and regret at losing Obito and not realizing what was in front of her because she liked Kakashi. It was just more subtle then visual like the current Team 7.

I don't know if that makes it helpful for us or not. I haven't read Kakashi Gaiden in awhile so I forgot if Rin was overcome by Obito's death.

She was rather meek, we never really saw her speak up at all (except for her love confession to Kakashi), her adoration of Kakakshi was much more like Hinata's of Naruto. I think people see the Sakura parallel because Obito was somewhat like Naruto (although much weaker in his will, and rather lackadaisical about training where Naruto has a fierce drive to train hard. Obito is probably the least like Naruto of any of the other characters compared to him, only his devotion to his team mates really, I think overall his personality shows more similarities to Chouji's than Naruto's) and Kakashi more like Sasuke (really more like Neiji than Sasuke when you seriously compare) but I think Kishimoto flipped things a bit with Kakashi and his team mates on purpose (he knew the other generations would feature a strong Naruto/Sakura parallel and did that so it wasn't too repetitive, and also give a bit of emotional distance between Kakashi and his team, especially between Kakashi and Sakura, especially as she grows more strong, physically and emotionally.

Even if Sakura saves Naruto's life, even if she saves Konoha, even if she defeats Madara, even if she brings peace to the world the anti fans will always hate her. So even if Kishi makes her the best heroine in the shonen genre she will still get flame and bash. Its the same thing with what you said about the pairing, even if NS becomes canon the opposite fandom will deny it they will continue saying that NH and SS is going to happen.

Yeah, I'd say it's to parallel to Kushina to Sakura, since both of them didn't think highly of their respective love interests (Kushina thinking Minato was weak, and Sakura assuming Naruto had intentionally tried to ruin her chances with Sasuke because of his own attempts to admit his feelings to her), as well as both hating parts of their body that their "lovers" think makes them beautiful (Kushina and her red hair, Sakura and her forehead).

The only thing is, Naruto's stubbornness prevents him from seeing that Sakura has grown fond of him in a way that isn't platonic due to his promise, and his assuming she loves Sasuke as much as she did back in the day, hence why (besides her not being totally honest) that he felt she was lying to herself when it came to her admitting her feelings to him. After all, she's seen him change, and in turn, because of him and Sasuke, she's changed to become even better.

If NaruHina fans can't see it that Sakura shows a lot of faith in Naruto by trusting him, regardless of how hard it might be in the long run, then they don't see the hints. After all, Naruto didn't mean that he liked people like Hinata romantically... that he liked them because they always tried their hardest, regardless of what would happen, even if she lacked it at first.

So Graven, I give you props for being the one to mention that it's obvious that Kushina is parallel more to Sakura, just from their overall attitudes as well as how they viewed Minato and Naruto at first, and how their feelings for them changed.

Agreed. One other that had been confirmed before hand was Asuma and Kurenai, but they're side characters really. In the end, NaruSaku is closest to being canon due to how both characters feel for each other.
