Just out of curiosity, is Boruto worth watching? I don't care about pairings anymore, but would kind of like to get back into Naruto. Honest opinions?

It's less about boruto and more about Sasuke and Naruto so if ur into yaoi than go for it.

Even without comparing to the old, the art feels like the guy trying to draw Shounen. Anyway, does anyone know what the story is about?

Also Kishi never addressed if Naruto knew the truth about Mitsuki or not. Cause if he did I'm sure he would be wary of putting him on the same team as his son

Given what happened in the oneshot last week Orochimaru may or may not return as a villain.  And he did mention an upcoming threat which I`m guessing will be revealed at some point in the Boruto manga.

I'm guessing orochimaru will be shown as the villain in the first chapters and then orochimaru gonna remember his son and be "converted" by talk-jutsu

And then the main villain will appear

Given what they showed sasuke is still traveling so this means his mission is probably still not over and he still don't found the true enemy

I'd love for Orochimaru to be the villain if only to watch the mental gymnastics the new age project's defenders would have to do to justify why he ass wasn't tossed in jail a long time ago and how Naruto is not a first class dumbass for letting his remain free. Still, the writer's can't be that oblivious right?

I edit this post for anyone who doesn't want to know the spoiler. Anyway, I have edited my post, but it seems too late since you have responded. And your post shows up funny here, only your post is too stretch after you put spoiler tag

 

As what I said above, I think he's not gonna really die. Lots of possibility there. But we haven't get the story yet.

It's not really confirmed to be that but it implies one.

The already problem that the story is already taking is the edgy bait that this series can't live without. This time, it's the flashforward tactic. It's the only way for the series to survive because no one won't have patience to know what's coming. In here, it used the flashforward tactic in order to keep the audience in. Have it without it, it would bored them.

That said it is starting off something that is needlessly edgy, which is a problem and funny because I was saying that the series need to do something new. This one isn't it. It's clear that they're doing it to say "I'm cool." It's the similar problem that Batman v Superman has. Well, I'll still wait for more. So much for normal ninja. We're still going to DBZ route one day.
