No that wasn't directed at you. Besides there are no wars to speak of yet so yeah. Again it just reminds me of the previous war, but only in terms of what the fans ship, I'm not saying that any preference is bad or that there are blood feuds already (that I know of).

 

Anyway the releases are on monday right?,eh a little too long for me but at least that ties it in with fairy tail.   

 

Yup technically the translator group Fallen Angels have already mentioned that the chapters would be releasing on Mondays now.

Ochako was really sweet in this chapter T_T I like how she gets comfy and starts speaking in her dialect when she's on the phone with her parents.

I hate Mr. Flame Guy. I hope that whatever the outcome of the match is, Shouto will prove himself (even though I have a feeling that he'll use his fire quirk).

Bakugou admitting his respect for Ochako, I like that. But ugh, level down your cussing, pls! And something that I hope that will change in the future is how Deku will talk to Bakugou. He looks so intimidated...

For those of you that read Nanatsu no Taizai, too, do you think Boku no Hero Academia or Nanatsu no Taizai is more exciting right now?

I personally connect better to the characters in Boku no Hero Academia, and am thus looking more forward to the next chapter for this manga than the other one- even though, more things are at stake in Nanatsu no Taizai right now.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the new chapter was awesome in NnT (that was brutal, lol). But I just think the characters are more interesting in BnHA Each week has me wanting to see more of this manga (even though nothing truly special has happened yet in terms of storytelling).

Don't get me wrong, I thought the new chapter was awesome in NnT (that was brutal, lol). But I just think the characters are more interesting in BnHA Each week has me wanting to see more of this manga (even though nothing truly special has happened yet in terms of storytelling).

Last chapter was more of a hype chapter or rather showing off chapter, where we need to know how strong is this guy or that guy. We pretty much learn how strong one member is and that's it. I mean it was fun, but I guess that's all it accomplished. Think as DBZ. Goku goes super Saiyan and still lose because that enemy is too strong! That's the feeling.

I think the action that's close to DBZ is what makes NnT a pretty good Shounen series. Though maybe the brutality factor helps too. Anyway, I'm enjoying more with BnHA at this time probably because of more connection to the characters, while I believe NnT is a world of its own but it does connect in a different way. In any case, I think NnT is more like a fun ride Shounen that really does its job while BnHA has gotten the personal level down, but action, perhaps the next chapter would be it.

If anything, BnHA has the chance to become big. There's no such thing as a successor to OP, it has achieved a level of success that might even have surpassed DBZ, considering all the records OP holds. I love bleach and all, but I think it really depends on how bleach ends. No words necessary for Naruto depending on how BnHA plays it, it could step in to Naruto's spot. Between NnT and BnHA, I'm kinda liking BnHA a little more as of now.

Post-Live Reaction/Review to Chapter 37

Now during my review portion I forgot to mention that Bakugou respected Ochako, and I just realized the nicknames he's giving. For Izaku it's Deku, and Ochako it's Fragile. Thought I'd point it out cause it is somewhat interesting when it comes to his character.


My favorite bits when it came to the chapter was actually The conversation Ochako had with her father because it's so realistic like I stated before people are gonna be there for support. Giving up isn't an option there will always be an oppertunity to try again. The hidden message that Kohei put behind that scene was incredible.

So The OchaDeku moment like I mentioned before was great. I liked how Deku was trying to comfort her, and how she remarked on how he's always watching her back. Then he thought back to when she said she'd watch so do you're best which made him think she's always watching his back again. It's a good little tease to poke at a potential romance between the two. I think this scene will become the seed of their development, and there will be another one that'll bloom oto the surface. So as of now I do officially ship them, but not hardcore.


Now when it comes to The arm wrestle between Tetsutesu vs Kirishima. All I got to say is Touka-chan will be pleased to hear who won this match that's for sure.

Then we get Endeavor and Deku's conversation man the chill levels were definitely for this scene. At the same time I loved Deku's vow to him how he wasn't All Might and Todoroki wasn't like Endeavor defintely amazing on Kohei's part.


Then the final page who called it?? Who called that it would be the final page of this chapter -> Me

Okay jokes aside, this match is also going to be pretty interesting and it's going to be an intense one that's for certain. Both Deku and Todoroki have come along way since this festival took place and now we are gonna see just who will be the one advance to the semi-finals and who will loose. Like I said before I'm placing my bets on Deku.
