Why Hinami is in Aogiri? 

Have you guys came up with some theory about it?

Who knows? She's 17 now; she must have had some legitimate reasons for joining Aogiri. After all, she still calls Kaneki "Oni-san", indicating that she still loves him.

I personally doubt she has done a 180 degree turn and gone evil.

Well, a live-reaction for a 25min long episode is probably gonna be too long... I guess doing it on a weekend would be the best option for you? How long does it take anyways to review and edit a video?

 

That is true, and it may take me a while to the review like maybe 30 minutes to make sure things are perfect an probably an extra 2 hours just to make sure everything is set. So yeah weekends sound like the most plausible route to go for Tokyo Ghoul Root A, probably sundays will work well for me.

Pretty positive she's looking for Kaneki. If you think about it, Nishio didn't know Kaneki was Sasaki until they met, and Touka and Yomo were surprised that Kaneki waltzed into the coffee shop. I think everyone was trying to find him, Hinami included. I'm positive her being in Aogiri was 100% Kaneki-motivated. Ayato probably is with her to keep her relatively safe, most likely on Touka/Yomo's order abd most likely some fear of Kaneki should Hinami get hurt and Kaneki remembers her

First of all: This kittening censorship again !

Let's see, where should I start?

Arata: Anyone noticed how the current episode of Root A and Ch.15 of :re both brought up Arata again? My theory is that Ishida wants to jogg on his audience's memories, specifically those who read :re simultaneously. I think many of us missed the hint in the manga that Arata's Kagune was the one making up Shinohara's and Iwao Kuroiwa's armor b/c the only time, I believe, the manga mentioned Arata's name was on the wedding ring in Ch.79. What if Ishida is planning to reveal what happened to Arata soon in the manga :re?

Tatara and Kousuke Houji, Seidou Takizawa's partner: I totally forgot who the latter one was until I saw this episode again XD So apparently he has some history going on with Tatara. I searched wiki for some info, and apparently in the past Houji helped Chinese investigators to destroy the Chinese Ghoul organization Chi She Lian. Tatara seemed to have been close to some of the members in there, especially "Fei" and "Yan". Houji and Seidou are now using their Kagunes for their Quinques, I think. Don't know if that will be of any importance later on in the manga.

Otherwise, the animation was meh, but I can't judge that much b/c I'm watching the episode from a lameass computer.

Seeing how Kaneki's Kakuja looks like is really creepy. I was kind of laughing my butt of that out of all people, Kaneki was the one to save Ayato- if you understand the irony

So, that "one-eyed ghoul"... was that Yoshimura or Eto?

This constant blend b/w manga content and anime orginal... It feels like all the necessary fights and hints are just conveniently thrown together during this prison raid.

I'm starting to expect an ending song in every episode XD Putting in an ending almost every episode starts to loose its necessary effect after a while in my opinion.

I know, right?! This is messed up! Nashiro always had black hair if I remember correctly. Doesn't make sense for identical twins to have different hair colors from the start (especially if one of them has white hair as a human).

I read that part, too... Are we supposed to blame SP for this? It's not the first time they change up things in animes. Look at Naruto: Blue Chakra, Ino having blue eyes instead of green ones...

What are you guys thinking about these new developments in ROOT A? 

I knew things would go on unlike things went on in  the manga, but don't you guys think the plot looks a little convoluted?

I wonder how things are gonna go for Kaneki from now on, in the manga he began to rethink his attitudes because he hurt banjou, here I really don't know what's gonna happen regarding his character arc since we got to see so little of his thoughts in these eps. And I'm also really curious to see how they will insert the Kanou story over there

Gah! As soon as i figure out how to make gifs on paint.net, im making some LuNa and Touken gifs! Accidentally played a backstreet boy song though while i was trying to learn and may or may not be splurging through a playlist of them, so that aint really helping

I still haven't watched today's episode, I'm finding that I'm annoyed with SP and their kitten animations. Last episode's fights were bad. I personally believe that Ishida is really just waiting for a better studio to produce an adaptations. The concept of root a would be better elsewhere.

Yes, I do think the plot is convoluting. Like I said: What in the world happened to Shachi? Did Kaneki finish him, or did Shachi flee in time?

What I absolutely despise about season 2 is Kaneki's absence. He's the main character, but we barely get to see him or hear him talk. Wtf is this kitten?! And to be totally honest: The only really new story material we have is that Kaneki joined Aogiri. That's it. Everything else is from the manga, just either at a different place, time, or circumstance. Most of the fights are from the manga.

One last thing: Kaneki better have a good and legitimate reason to join Aogiri. I'm not gonna except this "b/c I wanted to protect my friends" type BS. In the manga, Kaneki's intentions for leaving Anteiku were more understandable b/c he was on a quest for answers about himself, Rize etc. Consequently, he didn't want to endanger anyone close to him, especially Touka and Hide.

But here: I just don't understand Kaneki. That Kakuja came out of nowhere. You could call that a straightout asspull. It was hinted that Kaneki might have ate some corpses when Shachi threw him into that one room at the end of episode 4.

I honestly don't know how Root A will end. I really don't know.

Hmm... Since a ton of people have already used Ch.71/72 and Ch.9/10 from :re... Some panels that show that NaruSaku type dynamic b/w Kaneki and Touka. Chapters before 50 I supposed are a pretty good finds. Oh, and Ch.79 where Kaneki is leaving Anteiku- and Touka. A lot of stuff you could do for that. Maybe Ch.120, too, where Kaneki meets Touka again.

It's a shame, but I can't... What chapter was it? That's a good idea! Showing how their relationship has progressed gradually. Are you going to include some of the dialogue in there? You could also do a before an after gif, but people have been doing that a lot...

Imao, there are tones of LuNa pics in One Piece. I'm sure it's gonna be easy for you to find the right panel.
