The Jyuubi is a few chapter away from going full form, and Sakura has just made her dream come true: to fight alongside Naruto and Sasuke. I don't think that after killing off a few dozens of mini!jyuubis she'll be satisfied and will go back healing the wounded.

Agreed, and given how important she is, and her role as the successor of the Hokage, I can't see her taking a seat either especially considering how much of an asset she'd be to the disposal of the Juubi. Hopefully, Kishi doesn't feel that her taking out a nice chunk of Juubi is satisfactory.

 

The problem is what would she bring to the fight against the Jubi once it reaches it's final form? Her super strength wouldn't do much considering how much larger the Jubi is to even Kurama, even if she had Slug Sage Mode, Only Naruto and B in full Biju transformations were shown to even remotely be considered a match for it and besides I have a feeling that once the Jubi reaches it's final form there will be a ton of wounded laying around and as a medical-nin it is Sakura's duty to attend to them first.

 

How would Kishi give a decent impression that SS could happen reasonably?

 

1) he would have to either: Have to put Sasuke way OOC and have him confess love for Sakura

 

2) regress sakura to part 1, because as of now (540)she see's her love for sasuke as bad so he wouldn't be able to do it without regressing her.

 

so i dont think he's going to give much impressions if any of SS, other then Sakura kicking out her remaining old feelings for sasuke and realizing Naruto as her true love

True, but he would have to be careful as to how he does it, in fear of making Sakura look like part 1 again and in turn have her character bashed and hated  to hell

I'm surprised this chapter wasn't going with Team 7, rather a buildup to finish the Juubi fight. Well, not really, but to seal it for now. That said I guess the main hype is Naruto's recovery for BM. I wonder how that's going come around. Not to mention, I wonder when Obito/Madara will return in action. It really seems like they're sidelining for next volume.

It's possible that that's what her slug summon is there for. She wouldn't necessarily have to heal if that's what her summon is doing, and if it comes down to it transforming again, and all that jazz. I could see a lot of the ninja falling back and leaving it to certain ninja capable of dealing damage. Another thing to consider is that we don't know the full extent of her powers. It's too early to say where she'll be when it comes to taking down the Juubi but I personally feel that she'll have a part putting it down. Maybe she'll release the seal, and her power will increase. You never know.

Look at Hinata , she make her look so dull and still didnt thanked Neji for his sacrifice.

I never see him giving fanservice to SS and NH without making Sakura being bashed or Hinata being looked like Naruto's bit...

For me it's impossible to give SS fanservice without making Sakura being bashed, the only thing that can close to think about it was on 632 when she said "Sasuke-kun" but i think that was the least he could do to give fanservice, giving out the benefit of doubt.

Lol striderC actually cover that for me, though I think he used it wisely in RtN since the setup was Sasuke flirting with Sakura. Here, well, I don't know. We'll see. I'll be honest, my prediction for this chapter was about Sasuke showing off since it did look like we were on a roll for Team 7 showing up individually. After showing off, insert potential SS fanservice and that was it. But that was of course negated. Hm...anyway, well let's see how Kishi handles it.

Sakura being bashed has nothing to do with the fanservice he gives to NH/SS. It seems her fans like what he's doing with her so it's good enough for them. NH fans are still clamoring on about how NH is the number uno couple as well as SS fans claiming the same.

Pairing drama, besides I don't think he will be showing hits as much as keeping it ambiguous until the very end. After all anyone who actually noticed Sakura's development should know SS ain't happening.

I'm still surprised he ended the drama for NH so soon though. So I don't know, what if the drama will end without SS? It's possible but who knows at this point? Sasuke still didn't give her a proper apology though "acknowledgement" to be on same level happened, just now he's all day focusing on Naruto. Maybe his plan is to see Naruto's potential and possibly reconsider to do something about himself. Like if Naruto is weaker than Sasuke, he got nothing to worry. Otherwise, he may rethink something and go for higher power. Not betraying so to speak but do something that will get stronger. I always feel like that mind thing can occur to Sasuke since now that part of plot is introduced. But I could be wrong.

We had that.
Until 620 NH and SS had the upper hand, then he destroyed that and started giving more NS development, and then introduces Mina/Kushi, Naruto stating his feelings for her again, and a major power-up of Sakura's character followed with a maturity thoughts and hints that she accept the idea of being Naruto's girlfriend, for me it's like (the story is going to end and NS is the end pairing).

Agree with you i feel that he's finishing the story and closing developments, the rookies will be sidelined again, and Hinata now already got her full development.
Naruto has nothing to say to hinata since he pretty much give his answer before on the arc, stated his feelings for Sakura.

Sakura also has nothing to say to Sasuke or even a conversation between the two also is discarded because there's no topic to discuss about.

Naruto and Sakura are the only ones who still has something to talk about because Sakura knows about Naruto's feelings for her so it's either her to tell Naruto that she loves him and wants a chance to prove that or tell Naruto that she doesnt love him(which is highly unlikely to me, since she cares too much about Naruto and i doubt she would break his heart.).

That's totes fine. I think if she does play some part, he won't do it in an unbelievably ridiculous way. I'll actually likely be satisfied with her just healing ninja but if she does somehow participate when it comes to the Juubi, that'd be a bonus for me personally. One thing that should be realized though is just how powerful Sakura's punch is. If Tsunade's was able to break the ultimate defense, I'd imagine her punch would do some damage to the Juubi for sure, but only time will tell.

I could see this happening as well, but since he's thrown bones at NH, I wouldn't be all that surprised if he did for SS, but it wouldn't be a moment that'd push SS IMO.

It's been a while since Kishi give a normal SS moment, rather than anti one. He sure didn't show mercy for the movie. He could have at least have Sakura acknowledges that one day Sasuke will return in the real world or something positive, but no, give that to Uzumaki Naruto.
