Well he knows that some people consider her a bad heroine, so I agree he'll definitely give a strong showing in the next couple chapters. Maybe some NaruSaku combo attacks

One other reason that I liked this chapter is that if you pay close attention to Sasuke, it seems like he is headed for another team change, specifically if you compare him to Madara. Madara starts out good, turns evil for the Uchiha, than is forced to seek peace with Hashirama, and finally after he is denied the Hokage spot specifically because he was not the crowd favorite turns evil again.

Sasuke started out good, turned evil for his clan, than is allied with the ninja alliance to defeat Madara, and now wants to become Hokage and does not care what the others think. Plus remember what Itachi said about being acknowledged before becoming Hokage. It was obvious from the K9's reactions who they prefer for the Hokage position.

Idk but I think Kishi is setting Sasuke up for another fall.

Indeeedddd! What I would love to see.

1. Sakura saving Naruto in badass fashion. I could see her punching something out of the way but what would make it so awesome is that she wouldn't have to sacrifice herself to do so.

2. Naruto acknowledges Sakura's strength. He hasn't seen her fight in a very long time and remember. It's about time he saw her kick some ass, and take some names.

3. Hopefully Sakura gets a bit of closure with her feelings for Sasuke. I think a NS moment will happen that'll push Sakura toward Naruto completely. Can't figure out what though.

4. Team attacks all around. I don't care what it is. I just have to see it!

I'm just tense about it because this is it. Like there is no 2nd chance. She steps it up here or lives in eternal worthless crybaby damsel mode until the end of the series. If Kishi messes this up there will be rage beyond imagination.

I don't think he will. I think he knows how much the fans want to see her do something significant so here's her chance. This set up is too good to not be good IMO. She's gonna show us a new technique, and she's gonna show her worth. Win or lose, I just want to see her own something and show the haters that she's definitely no one to be played with.

I wouldn't look too much into it, if Naruto has faith in her and if Kishi is serious about her as the heroin, then there's nothing to worry about

Just some fandom bashing on her because she hasn't been in any fights as of late. She's the navigator of the crew and has been known to not show a lot of fighting prowess. It's disappointing because when she does fight it's like "wow she's so weak blah blah" and when she doesn't it's "why doesn't she fight?".

Nami is one of my favorite characters in OP and it's just sad that some people still don't get that certain characters have their strengths and weaknesses. Oh well that's just how fandoms are haha.

It's the same with how some of the fandoms treat Sakura not Ino(anymore at least) or especially Hinata. She can do no wrong apparently.

I think haters are already trying to figure something out due to this chapter. I mean NS is not canon yet, but this may be the starting point. The best part is Sakura still has a lot of development left with Naruto. Now the obvious reason for the Sakura-Kushina thing, well thats for a NaruSaku ending. Thats a win for us. This may be the start of NaruSaku, more stuff will come forward. As for that moment to push Sakura towards Naruto, it could be Sasuke himself giving her the Kakashi-Rin speech, maybe Naruto lets the forehead comment slip if she gets some seal on her forehead like Tsunade.

Just these two weeks have been perfect, absolutely perfect. Wonder how long before the fanbases cool down though, I mean the NH and antiNS bases were cautions and anxious from the simple statement, Minato may be reminded of Kushina if he sees Sakura, well this easy prediction came forward. Now they are in a frenzy, If we get another NS moment next week, like Naruto being impressed with Sakura and some mutual exchange between them, well just saying, what if that forehead compliment slips out? What if in the future this or 457 is revisited, heck what if the confession is revisited and she apologizes and builds on that? Maybe then it would silence these haters for good.

I still get a laugh at Narutopedia, under Naruto's relations page, it says he still had a crush as used to have one on Sakura rather than currently does. But at this rate, they might as well leave it as had because either way, Naruto will or will not end up with Sakura, but he still loves her right now so I think things from this chapter will move forward. Man all the times in this fandom the good and the bad have made this one heck of a day. Love this ship so much, its enough to die happy.

Ladies and Genetlemen it has been an honor sailing with all of you so far, lets keep moving forward to our goal and hope we reach the goal.

On a side note, I get a really funny imagine in my head of the Sakura-kushina thing being like this:

Someone takes kishi's face, puts it over pain, make him say "Do you hate me?" and the haters are represented as 6-tailed Naruto.

I think its great how some manga sites are trying to mask the blow and so many reviewers are acting like they knew everything, but in mangasites and reviewers, I see many imagines of Naruto with Hinata, now what does this speak of hmm?

Something tells me they forgot about Sakura's feelings in the 3rd databook. Otherwise these statements can be translated as this: bashing and denial, the Kushina stuff ended, how was it this hard to see from the start I mean seriously? The similarities were right there from the beginning between Sakura and Kushina.

Denial is a powerful thing. We humans are very capable of self-deception and full on denial of the reality that's right before us.

Wow what a great chapter!

So many things went right and nothing caused me to groan or question what Kishimoto was doing. The NaruSaku moments, the other hokages arriving, Hashirama snubbing Madara, Sasuke's arrival. All those things.

My favorite part had to be the way Naruto answered Minato's question about Sakura being his girlfriend and the way she reacted in turn. It was so Naruto. I had to laugh because it went off just how so many people on this site predicted with Sakura hitting Naruto and Minato making the connection to Kushina. It couldn't have been more perfect. Nothing's canon yet of course but the implications are more than obvious.

Sasuke's return was the other part I liked because it confirmed my suspicions about why he's helping out. Judging by the first words that come out of his mouth when he's addressing Sakura it's clear that he hasn't changed. When the others jump in and protest he makes it clear he doesn't care about what any of them think. Sakura's reaction to him was well in line with what it should have been. One of surprise and suspicion.

Sasuke wanting to become hokage does not change his disregard for his former comrades or the arrogance he still possesses. He intends to take the title by force if necessary in order to achieve his goals no matter who stands in his way. Naruto's face during Sasuke's reasoning shows that he knows this to be true. He has not forgotten Itachi's words, that it's not those who become hokage that are acknowledged but that those who are acknowledged can become hokage. Sasuke lacks that critical component of acknowledgment that would allow him to lead effectively and Naruto realizes this. He stands in Sasuke's path and there will be conflict. And I don't think there will be any pulled punches.

As for now they're having their nostalgic team 7 reunion and about to kick some butt Sakura included! I'm interested to see what she means when she says once she stores a bit more chakra she'll be able to unleash her real power.
