I'm thinking that this movie will take place sometime right after the current story arc and before the next possible story arc. This is of course, assuming that there will be a story arc after the current war arc and that this movie will indeed become the Naruto series's "One Piece: Strong World". Oh, and it could be possible that that poster is showcasing a fight scene between the Akatsuki and Naruto, Sakura, Alternate Reality Genjutsu Kakashi and Alternate Reality Genjutsu Shikamaru.



That's my prediction and I'm sticking with it unless I am proven wrong by the movie itself. :True:

i think it will be some kind of parallel world, because it's said that naruto does not know anything about his parents so i assume that pain does not destroyed the village and the war arc do not started and instead of declaring war , tobi personally gathered the akatsuki and invaded konoha.
he capture naruto get a portion of his kyuubi chakra then they break naruto's seal realesing his parent's chakra(minato and kushina) , then naruto and sakura together with minato and kushina has to break out the genjutsu free their friends and fight back

for some reason i feel that i know how this plot will be , in 2005 kishimoto said in an interview that a lot of akatsuki members were going to invade konoha and a gekkei genkai would be more valuable but i think he give up this plot(made the pain's arc) and make some adaptations for this movie

I was thinking on something silly. Tobi is set up to complete is Moon Eye Plan, doesn't that mean that it would not happen in the canon Manga. If Kishi do that in a movie and then do the same in the Manga people will no longer be excited about it. Then what about this Sasuke will be good in this movie and he will return to Konoha you know where I'm going with this.

I doubt its in an alternate reality - remember that Naruto didn't know Minato was his father in the 4th Naruto Shippuden movie, even though he already knew by that point in the anime. In this movie, Naruto likely hasn't had the pleasure of meeting Minato or Kushina (that, or he has amnesia or something - I dunno). Naruto movie timelines never fit in with the actual canon timeline regardless.

I think Naruto does know that those are his parents. But in the genjutsu, it's as if they never died and have been a family all this time to his current age.

It would seem like Naruto has amnesia when he gets there or something wrong with his mind maybe -to the genjutsu people-. I can imagine Naruto uber confused to see his parents alive and well, and even more confused to see his friends acting strange, save Sakura.

Then again, maybe I read too many Naruto AR and time traveling fics with this sort of plot hint for my own good.

I have a theory on how the Akatsuki are alive, Think about it like this.

We know the Moon eyes plan requires a huge,huge,huge amount of chakra to maintain. That's why the 10 tails in needed, However It was never said it could not be executed without it. My reasoning is that Tobi will use the 7 beasts (assuming he has them) and use their combined chakra to put the leaf in the Moon eyes plan, However he alters it to make it seem the Akaktsuki are attacking. I think we all know the Akatsuki can wipe the floor with the leaf or any village for that matter. It would explain how they retreated as well. Basically Tobi puts them in the plan and searches for Naruto while everyone else is distracted. HE find Naruto and then releases the Jutsu and is about to hit Naruto with it. However Sakura is with him, So Tobi hits her with it as well, putting both them in the moon eyes plan and since its only 2 people (as opposed to the 100s in the leaf) he can maintain for a long period of time by using the beast's combined power. It would also explain Minato and Kushina being alive because it was hinted Naruto was missing them, Sasuke perhaps being kind (if above source is accurate) because that is something both Naruto and Sakura want. .

i disagree, because naruto does not knew anything about his parents but he was missing them because he wanted to know who they were, but ofc he still has their chakra sealed inside on himself so he gets captured by tobi because he need all the bijuu's chakra to activate the Tsuki no Me, with naruto's seal broken their parents chakra are realesed

with the new recent update look like i was right naruto will be captured

and masashi kishimoto saying "i did not only draw naruto in this movie"

then they say "everything comes to an end" and a "NEW WORLD IS CREATED"
and with the new extended trailer it said that naruto's parents are "REVIVED" this must be an awesome movie

Can't wait for the official trailers to start coming out! Thus far we have only seen teasers. I really want to see a trailer that explains the plot in better detail.

When did the official trailers (not teasers) for Blood Prison started coming out last year? Maybe it will happen around that date this time as well.

I have this feeling that he's planning something to surprise the Sakura haters, I mean the guy didn't took it well when he found out that there are a lot of fans who hate his heroine and doesn't understand why they worship a minor character like Hinata.
