I've done a lot of things at the last minute too, and here I use to think essays took forever, but after writing some fiction myself, they just seem to be easy now. xD

lol I've never had an easy time with essays, even back when I used to write for fun. Essays take time for me, and I become impatient and bored, and eventually either give up or put it off 'til the last minute. Rushing it seems to work for me, though... Everything I've written this semester has been done night-before, and I've gotten As/Bs on 'em all /brags a little

Hopefully next semester this habit will be fixed. Or maybe I'll just hope to have less writing assignments XP

I always hated writing assignments myself, I'd usually prefer projects to be hands on or at least when it doesn't involve writing of sorts. xD

Yesss I love hands-on projects, as well as discussion-based projects. I'm the sort of person that has to get everything out before sorting through it and coming to a conclusion; trying to do that with an essay takes forever for me, whereas discussions allow for more to be said in less time. Plus it's fun hearing from other people instead of just sitting and having a conversation with myself on paper.

I always did love doing group projects myself since I could get opinions on how I was doing, and usually I would have less to worry about since the pressure just wasn't on me. smile.gif

Ah, same. I got picked to do the actual writing or presenting. Neither of which I ever really wanted to do. But, that's one advantage of being in college now: most professors will recommend ditching the flakes in a group to preserve your own grade, so I don't have to worry so much about getting work shoved on me~

Couldn't agree there more Kushina, I usually prefer working alone as my ideas always seemed to conflicted with those around, and besides I usually like to show my classmates how smart I can be without their help. tongue.gif

Haha I always found it more fun to show them how smart I was once we were in a group, and making them acknowledge that I wasn't a weak-link member. If my ideas conflicted, I usually just tried to get everyone's ideas out on the table and weight the pros and cons of each.

That's always thinking ahead, and I gotta wonder sometimes from the ideas my classmates were thinking, were they smoking something? xD

lol Wild ideas, were they?

Notes to self:

OI, SELF. Stop getting distracted goddammit. This essay is easy; you've already done the work--one week as a vegetarian--now just talk about how you did it. It's totally conversational, only four and a half pages double-spaced! You've already got three out of four paragraphs done, you're halfway down the third page, and it's all flowing. Once you stay. Focused. On. The. PAPER. Stop petting the cat. Stop looking at the time and groaning as your sleep ticks away. Just write the last paragraph and the conclusion and be done with it!

/Notes to self.

FINALLY. It's spring break for me y'all~

Plan to sleep a lot. Watch a lot of movies. Sleep some more. And maybe squeeze in some snuggling with my cat, followed promptly with sleeping.

Amen to that! XD

lmao After all of the draaaamaaaaa in the pairing forum, I just want to say here and not there because who needs more drama than we've already gotten that I don't really ship anything in Naruto anymore--at least, nothing involving Naruto or Sakura, and only Hinata in the crackship Neji/Hina. At this point I really don't care what Kishi does; might even want to see NaruHina or SasuSaku happen just because it'd be fun to see people get worked up over it.

In other news, I just had to pull my cat off the roof. That's always fun.

Oh irony. Right after saying I give no more f**cks, I go and post in a debate thread for the first time in months. Granted, I wasn't posting about pairings I necessarily want to see happen, but it still strikes me as funny.

I am truly done with that pursuit. I find that there is no benefit to rocking the boat.
On the morning of Wednesday, April 11th, 2012, my Aunt Karla passed away. She was my mother's baby sister, and my coolest aunt when I was a kid. She was the best babysitter ever, and she was like an older sister to me.

Karly, I don't know if you can hear this. I am not a believer, I haven't been since Sheryl died. But if you can, I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for everything bad I've ever said about you. When you were suffering, I should have been there to help you. I should have visited. I should have encouraged you to leave the house and get a job, to be active and alive the way you used to be.

I promise that I will do everything that I can to be successful and a good person, to make you proud the way you would have wanted me to. No matter what I said, I loved you. And I will always love you. Rest in Peace, you will never be forgotten.

'Course not; this forum is incredibly strict about boat-rocking unless the people doing the rocking are in majority.
