Oh no, I went off-topic. Sort of. I said that because it was different from usual Shounen and well it was pretty dark. Especially the ending (manga).

I've read somewhere that in all Naruto games they delete Hinata's confession part. She always says something like:

 

"Naruto... I..."

 

"because.... I...."

 

If they are so certain the game has influence in the manga itself, why don't they explain this?

 

PS: I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate since I've never played the games myself.

 

No you are right, in UNS2 during the final battle against pain, when a certain action comes up, Naruto is about to get pulled into a spike Pain is holding but Hinata suddenly comes in between and just says Naruto, I and then Naruto goes into a full rage.

 

Yet the Sakura hug remains in the end completely unchanged with a hit and a hug.

All the path choices do is let you have a choice in difficultly and the items you are allowed to buy and equip. Heroes has more healing and defensive or buffing items. Legends has more debuffing and offensive tools. They can both be maxed out. I personally maxed legends out before heroes. So kinda got the challenge and then did the best last mission with Sakura.

still it's a game and games let's the player choose what he wants to do. Mass effect was famous for making love triangles, but which one was the cannon one. This incentive from the devs to give something to NH is just that.

Alright, thanks! I miss time I actually had time to play some games, but I had to stop so I could get a little more productive to get my Academic Degree. I'm clean for 5 years. There's no such thing as playing a little for me... I either go crazy hardcore or i don't play at all.

This was disappointing, i didnt buy this game because it's the same engine from UNS2 and i feel like paying for the same thing over and over again.
But about their promises, the Heroes and Legends quite hyped me up, because they said that your decisions would affect the story on the game, and it didnt happen, i got disappointed with this game, it's full of promisses that were not fullfilled although i'll buy the PC version just to support CC2 for PC platform.

Before I begin, I want the mods to know this is not a bashing post, rather something that relates to the debate thread and it has been recurring countless times. Please understand the purpose of the post and acknowledge the info that is provided. Thank you.

 

Ok, after looking back at the old topics in here, I can finally talk about one thing. It's something that I must admit, I laughed at myself. Why? Because it's the argument that I can't believe that we are in the wrong track. What is it I'm talking about? Hinata's Sketch!

 

I looked back and saw so many responses to this sketch, wondering if Hinata was meant to be love interest for Naruto originally, wondering if this is an old work of his, or wondering if this is the old concept for her to be a Ramen girl or a normal civilian. I have seen people feared that the reason she is back now is because Kishi wants his old concept to come back and become Naruto's love interest. This is the excuse that NH fans used and NS fans must fight back and tried to argue with it. My argument is that it never said that she was meant to be his love interest, just to be a civilian. Even so, they didn't like the fact that she was created way before anything, so maybe she was made for Naruto. So the argument continues and I have never seen a concrete conclusion in here, because either no one steps in to tell us the real answer and/or we all don't know...

 

I got the answer.

 

Ok, no, I don't. My really good friend, Kronin, one of the few members in NF that I considered a well respectable person, has the answer. I like to see him as a good far-distance friend. I mean really far. He's a hardcore fan and he just happened to stop by in the time where the fandom argued about the sketch, so good timing. I used the same argument in here in there. So he finally stepped in because he has the book himself and so, it's time to get it straight. It turns out that...

So, I made a big mistake and pretty much thought I told the truth. Only because I followed from one guy, that I will admit, so it wasn't the best source. I am sorry. That said is the love interest part true? It turns out that...

 

It is a lie.

 

Who came out with this lie? I have no idea, but we fell for it. Most of us did. I didn't think it was a complete lie, but here we are. Ending this myth once and for all or at least in here. Is the heroine part true? It turns out that...

Ok, this one was pretty much given. Now then, what about the sketch? It's the old sketch from Kishi, back in the pilot days of Naruto. Well...

That's right. So let me get this straight. The "infamous" sketch doesn't say she was made to be civilian, a ramen girl, etc., doesn't say she was going to be a heroine, doesn't say she was Naruto's love interest, and doesn't say that it was old sketch back in the early days. So, are they really true?

So...wow. I feel like an idiot. Look, I am not bashing anyone, but I am giving you the reality and from now, whether you bookmark or not for future debate, this is the truth. If you see this again, just remember this. If not convinced, then let them be. We are good enough to not cross the line. This is not me celebrating but me feeling a burden has been lifted. I say this because this is the recurring argument that has come back constantly. So now, it doesn't help that much; however, this does hurt because that would mean Hinata was just made because of the manga direction, never intended since the very beginning. That's a big difference. Heck, as of now, the real legit reason for her is actually a fanservice that is covered, which Kishi actually said this. Not saying she can't have character, but don't expect big development because of its past, that is not existent. So yeah, that takes care of that.

 

So.. all the hype about that infamous sketch, was just that? Just goes to show how things really can take on a life of their own and get completely misconstrued into something that hardly resembles the truth anymore.

Well the worst thing of all was, a day after 631 came out, I was happy as any other NS fan, I used a team of Naruto, Minato and Sakura. And most of my battles that day, people just quit out after seeing that. I mean I did win a few times but others were angry and sent rude messages just because I liked the recent events. I was sad to have seen that the pairing war stuff had even seeped into the game just like that to some people take it this far. I was sad that no naruto ground was basically safe now from this crap.

Just seems a little contradictory to me. So it's perfectly possible for Naruto to develop feelings for Hinata (something that has NOT even been hinted at OR implied in ANY WAY), but Sakura developing romantic feelings (Which actually HAS been hinted at) for Naruto is preposterous? I smell denial and desperate hope.

I cannot STAND when they say Naruto's love was not proven. Seriously my hatred for that specific statement is ineffable. What do they mean LOVE has not been proven? I'll say it again: Actions speak louder than words. It SHOULD be obvious to everyone that he is no doubt in love with her through his various actions and the way he treats her. He does not have to come out and bluntly say "I LOVE SAKURA" for his love to be sincere and genuine. If someone whose willing to put someone else's love and happiness above their own does not count as an action of love, then I don't know what should. Just because NS is generally a lighthearted pairing that doesn't have overdramatic moments does not make it any less complex.

Sai's opinion doesn't matter? Then why even PUT his opinion in the manga if it "doesn't matter" or "if he's completely wrong"? There is no point in adding Sai's comments in there if they just proved nothing and only served to take up valuable space. They have a purpose. Kishi would not just sloppily throw in those comments just to troll the fans or for it to act as a red-herring because that's just stupid. I'm sorry, but it is.

That had to suck.  It's a shame really that it's been taken so far.  I can't condone when other people ruin other people's ecitement over something like this, and bring down another's ship when they are overexcited like with chapter 615.

Okay, I'm kinda tired so I don't know how well I'll do with this but here goes.

 

We know Sakura had a crush on Sasuke in part 1, it is not proven to be love. She was twelve years old when she first confessed and Sasuke made it clear he does not return he feelings. And she said most recently about Sasuke "That he keeps getting further away from me and breaking my heart."

 

Yes, Hinata said she loved Naruto, but telling him how she felt was more to relieve the burden of keeping them to herself than in any hope he would return them. Hinata has not expressed any outright 'goal' to be with Naruto romantically. Period.

 

The only person Sakura has outwardly stated she loves in all of part 2 is Naruto, that's a pretty damn big 'hint'. But I forgot that doesn't count, since she was lying even though it was explicitly made clear she was lying about Sasuke, not her feelings. There are many, many numerous hints of Sakura's developing feelings, I just don't have the wherewithal to gather them all.

 

And I'm not even going to bother with the "Naruto's feelings haven't been proven", it so ridiculous for so many incalculable reasons, and deviouslyChaotic basically summed it up.
