Simple. Naruto and Obito team up and take down Madara. cool.gif Or Naruto fights Madara while Obito revives Sakura.

Actually, I don't really want her to die either, but it's one of the many possibilities here, and what it would bring is some pretty powerful reactions though it's something that some of us don't want to risk because what if she stays dead. sad.gif And like you, she's my favorite Naruto character as well. cool.gif

Now that would be cool! Redeemed Obito and Naruto vs Madara~ That would be a great way to show off their parallel too. happy.gif

Killing her off for the sake of a parallel is something I can live without. As powerful as it would be for the fandom, I really really really don't want to risk it! I'd be more than happy seeing her get more panel time. smile.gif

Plus, there are other ways to bring the parallel full circle. She doesn't necessarily have to die. Just seeing her interacting with Naruto could trigger the parallel connection in Obito, Maybe Sakura will heal Naruto and this will remind Obito of Rin? Maybe Naruto's love for Sakura will be brought up again? Maybe Sakura will take a non-fatal blow for Naruto, and for a while it might seem like she's going to die, but she ends up living through it? There are so many other ways to do it~ It would be much less powerful than having her die, but it would still do the trick.

Personally, I like my third suggestion. Make it look like she's going to die, kind of like what Kishimoto did with Sasuke during the Hakku fight, but let her live through it with the help of Shizune. While she's still unstable, show how overwhelmed Naruto is at the thought of losing her. That would be more than enough for me~ biggrin.gif

I was actually thinking about that. It'd be good if she suffers a non fatal blow, and ends up getting knocked out for quite a bit. The reaction would still be pretty telling and we'd see a side to Naruto that we've never really seen before most likely since he's never actually seen her on the brink of death before. biggrin.gif I'd love it.

I'm soooo crossing my fingers for tomorrow. A panel or two or 3 or even 10 of Sakura would make me a happy man. biggrin.gif

If I'm honest, when I see stuff like people wishing for someones death to have a strong moment for a pairing, it really makes me feel sad.

I see this has someone who only cares about Naruto and Sakura gating together one way or another.
Since the day I became a NS fans I only cared about them being best friends, caring about each other, helping, trusting believing, etc and finally escalating the relationship to the next level.

I love NS because of how the are with each other, I love their funny moments, how they are themselves around each other, the support, Naruto selfless love, Sakura's desire to be their for him, the little kid that emerge between them, Sakura tenderness, Naruto desire to protect her no matter what, how they complement each other etc.
Not tragedy, drama, angst, I don't like that and I don't want that, those negative or sad stuff are not the main reason why I become a NS fan and it's sad to see that people are willing to forget what really NS is all about because they want and some are desperate for something that could force them together. sad.gif

To let you know, I'm not one of those NaruSaku fans who want Sakura to die for a strong pairing moment. We honestly don't need that, and if that's what you're wishing for, it implies desperation. There are so many more possibilities that ObiRin can be connected in a non-fatal blow way to Sakura. They're all possible and all interesting. I just feel that the only way Naruto's character can grow more, is by seeing Sakura die and redeeming 615. I want character development, I don't even care that much about shipping moments. NaruSaku's gonna get one eventually either way, it doesn't have to be all dramatic and angsty like an actual death. I just don't see any possible way for Naruto to talk no jutsu Obito successfully. That's the only reason I'm considering it a possibility.

Still, seeing Sakura dead would be really hard to look at. I don't wanna see her in that much pain. God, I still remember how I felt when Sasori nearly killed her and she was near-death. shamefulcry0js.gif Naruto's reaction would probably make me actually cry. sad.gif

I wasn't sure if you were referring to me Don-kun, but I just wanted to make that clear. happy.gif

@Don-kun: I agree with you. I would never want Naruto and Sakura to be forced together, but I don't think anyone here is suggesting that that would be the outcome. I don't believe anyone here is hoping for Sakura to die either. Rather, I think we're all just discussing the various ways to bring about the Obi/Rin Naru/Saku parallel. happy.gif

Like I said, I would be more than happy with Sakura getting some panel time, even if the parallel never gets mentioned. All I want is to see her play a prominent role in the war. Whether that role has anything to do with NaruSaku or not, I could care less. smile.gif love.gif

Anyway, if we're going off of the assumption that a parallel connection is going to be made, I would much prefer it if she didn't die. It would already seem repetitive, considering Naruto just got over Neji's death. Why put him through the same mess twice? That's why I was bringing up other ways for the parallel to be completed. At this point, another death [for the sake of teaching Naruto despair] would feel redundant.

As you said, part of what made us love NaruSaku is how bright, caring, and loving their relationship is. Who knows? Maybe Obito will have a change of heart after witnessing the positive aspects of their bond. Redemption via NaruSaku! tongue.gif

Although Sakura dieing/getting hurt would very much make a very solid Obi/Rin parallel, I don't think we need that parallel that badly and I think it would speak better of NS if Naruto is able to protect Sakura whereas Obito couldn't. Some view NS as the success stories of other parallels that failed, if Sakura dies, it is no different from Obi/Rin, carbon copy pretty much, whether Sakura is revived or not later does not help.

It would be better if she doesn't die or get hurt in the first place thanks to Naruto's efforts of protecting her, which Obito failed to do. That is a better "success" story than Sakura just getting revived.

Parallel's to me don't have to be directly related to the dot... just close enough to make a point. That's why I feel Sakura dying would be silly, Naruto's already suffered a great deal and over came it, don't kill off (it would be a tease obviously) his only love interest ^^

I had some ramblings about how all the parallels to NS are not carbon copies and should not follow the exact same route, but I took it out because that wasn't really the point. XD

I got this for you:

All this talk about Nauto y Obito that may use talk no jutsu makes me think.

Do you think Obito knows that Naruto likes Sakura through the Sharigan of Kakashi? Then may try to kill Sakura to discourage Naruto, so Obito will remember Rin.
or maybe others things can happen.

Well now I'm certain that 614 was just another "Hinata's Confession" chapter. Hinata throws herself at Naruto, and Naruto responds in a way that could be interpreted as romantic, then it's never mentioned again! Yay!
I mean that sarcastically of course. Perhaps Hinata's character was meant to be leading up to this speech the entire series, but the fact is that Kishi made it too obvious he wanted to appeal to the NaruHina fans. With the following chapters not even hinting at what Naruto actually thought and leaving it "up for interpretation" again, it proves to me that Kishi is simply trying to screw with our heads to cause controversy and discussion among both sides of the pairing wars.

As a NS shipper I am disappointed that Kishi is once again incorporating bad writing into this romance. One could argue that NaruHina doesn't exist because it's one sided and that could be true if Kishi didn't try to exploit it's popularity so often. I mean really, there's a difference between a bit of fanservice and blatantly creating chapters that are bound to add controversy and discussion just for popularity.

Now it's not like romance is the only part of Naruto that is slipping for me, and maybe I'm a bit harsh on it because of how disappointed I am with other parts of the series, but I still think that Kishimoto needs to stick to his roots and create a realistic and inspiring romance that people can relate to and cherish. It might be asking a bit much from a Shounen author, but I wouldn't have high expectation if he didn't build them up that way. I guess in that aspect Kishimoto is just a victim of his own success. Anyways, sorry for the length of this post I just really needed to voice my opinions on NS at some point, be it now or a week from now.

I don't mind Kishi about his romance ideas, but the thing is that I don't like too much fanservice.
I understand he got to please NH fans but I don't know why in these few chapters lately, he's spilling too much fan servicing.

Well, we got to wait till he ends this charity.

It's in Madara's hope to become the Jinchuriki for the Ten-Tails. Though Ig et the feeling it wouldn't work... considering that the Sage of Six Paths likely had more extensive seals that he and Obito lack to be the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki.
